Oh yes! This has always been an iconic favorite!!
-
oddly enough, and I didn't realize this until years later, my two VERY favorite cars are the 1987 Toyota Corolla GTS coupe ( The one with pop up lights) AND the 1987 Mercedes 450 SEL with winshield wipers on the headlights!!
-
I couldn't get through the first 3 minutes of that! The " New" Vance, has too much of a Yankee voice. That was one thing that showed how much better Sorrel and Jimmy were than John or Tom as far as their acting. In " My Son Bo Hogg", when they repeated his new name, Bo ( John) kept saying, "Bo Haaag?" and Jimmy and Sorrel said " Bo Hawg!" He's an even worse actor than Byron!!

Yes, Boss fell with the groceries but I can't remember the episode.....?? Remember, Roco and Cletus were on strike and Boss had thhis girl named Alabama and her two brothers rob Hazzard?.....ok...found it, The Law And Jesse Duke, season 4
-
My favorite practical car is either a Toyota Corolla S or a Camry and my favorite sports car is either a Ferrari 308gts or a Lamborghini Countach! With an honorable mention to a Mercedes Benz 450 SEL

The sway bar is also known as an anti-roll bar. Its main role is to prevent the vehicle from rolling by stiffening the suspension, and thereby keeping the wheels in contact with the ground. This gives better traction and helps prevent sliding, which can be a problem in a powerful rear-wheel drive car that's cornering on a slippery surface. I don't see a problem with the phrase.
AH!! My ignorance of cars shows! But thanks to my fellow Hazzardites, I am enlightened!! Thank you!

ok, here's one, When The Duke boys are building the General Lee and they're puttujng in a sway bar, or something like that, and Jesse says "That's good, because if you don't, she'll slide out from under you." ( or something to that effect!) HOW can a car " Slide" out from under you????
-
YES!! Thanks! You see? They were holding the evidence in their hands, so how could the Duke boys be hiding it????
-
I want to start a thread on things done or said in the show that didn't make any sense ( I think I may have touched on this before, but it would still make a nice thread, with different people thinking of things others missed!). You know, things that, when you hear or see it, you think, " WHAAATT??"
example: ( Please help me remember the episode this is from) Rosco and boss are, as usual, trying to frame the Duke boys, and they have the evidence ( Which I can't remember what it was}, there in Rosco's office, and then Enos says, " I guess that let's the Duke boys off the hook", and rosco says, " That's a wrong, that's a wrong, they're probably hiding the evidence just to weasel their way out of it!" ( or something to that effect!)

I just prayed over him again, Meadow, and I'm glad to hear he's back home and improving! God Bless!

No, actually her stomach looked very good when the show first started ( Look at the scene from " One Armed Bandits", where she was looking for the beach and is holding a lunch basket full of lemonade and Chitlin sandwhiches....yuck!). But, like most everybody, time catches up to you and you lose your flat stomach!
-
oh, well, that's understandable! ( Crap! I missed the chat along!....oh, well, maybe next time!)..........( I was out in the shed cookin' up a batch of 'ol factory Whistle!!)

December 7 sounds good to me.
I agree with Roth about an episode (or episodes) that aren't Georgia eps.
What's wrong with Georgia episodes?? I mean, I like all of them ( except for Carnival of Thrills, the goofiest one they made) and I will go for anything you guys say, but I was just wondering what was wrong with the Georgia episodes...I liked them just as much as the others!

That's great to hear! Keep us up on it! ( He's got a LOT of people pulling for him!!)
-
Who was that playing lead guitar? I recognized Petty, Harrison, and Jeff Lynne ( I never saw him play a bass before!! Just a six string!), and Starr of course on drums.
-
Well, they had a lot of Japanese people involved in the show...maybe they wrote some of it and mispelled some words...??
-
Thanks, Hobie Harkins! I loved that episode...and not to nit, but Hobie's line was, "He's got two men headed for the gravel pit right now, with enough explosives in that car to blow it higher than I am!" (I'm watchin' it right now.)
thanks bud! I'll do you a favor...I'll share the rest of my shine with you when I get back from town!...( Ha! Ha!)
-
I've just prayed over your father. If you need me or need to talk, just pm me and I'll be here for you! God bless!!

Happy Birthday bud!!

Apparently I write like Stephen King. There's a thought.
I think it's just a random assignment ( aka B.S.!) because it told me the same thing!! LOL!!
-
I think it was when they had to get an engine for their tractor...not sure of the episode ( Seems it was the same one where Boss Hogg instituted his " Cash or Clink" motto)
