  1. That seems to be most everybody's reaction to " Strange Visitor". It seems to be an episode thought up when they couldn't think of anything else. My LEAST favorite that I've maybe seen 3 times, is " Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Duke. Luke is an A Hole to everybody!
  2. I've seen this and yes he pulls the door closed behind him. It was a certified Goof!
  3. Well, we'll see about this coming Sat. at 11:00 A.M.! ( Be there or be square! )
  4. yea, you're lucky...I haven't ever met anybody from the show but I DO hang out behind the car lot and make shine! :)
  5. Hey there
  6. Well, me, myself and I enjoyed this thoroughly....( I keep good company ) we'll see if I want to continue this later...lol
  7. One of the main characters in this one was the crooked music publisher, played by Ronnie Schell, who played DUKE on Gomer Pyle...Duke...hmmm...that's interesting…..
  8. One of my fav. scenes is when one of the mobsters, while walking through a cow pasture, asked boss, " What's that smell??" Boss says..." Fresh Air"! LOL! City people...lol This one also mentions one of those people only mentioned but never seen ( Deacon Lyle Perkins).
  9. Ever notice how anybody could buy dynamite in this series? The boys blew up Rosco's car.
  10. One of my fav. quotes in the series ( used only 2-3 times) was in this one. " The Dukes revenge on property, not people." They used it in this one. Also, it's overcast outside like in the other early ones too.....still never figured that. When they moved their settings ( diff. Board's Nest, city hall etc.) it was always sunny. ( hard to be a farmer in an area where it never rains!! )
  11. Rosco's office was different in this one too.
  12. Her chest looks a lot bigger than normal in this one! ( Still don't know why...)….I mean usually it's small or maybe average...others it's quite big...
  13. This was one of the early ones...they have a completely different kitchen etc. in this one! Ever notice the comment Waylon made, about how " For those of you ignorant of good music, Jesse Colter is one of the world's best singers, but I'm partial to June Carter myself!" Jesse was Waylon's WIFE and June Carter was Johnny Cash's wife. I'm sure this joke was lost on a lot of people who don't know country music.
  14. Boss looked a little thinner in this one...they must not have used as much padding!
  15. Luke wore a different shirt in this one....so did Bo...Hmm...
  16. You ever notice Luke had another car and Waylon in this episode, says " While they had another car, when they were expecting trouble, the drove the General". We never see Luke's other car OR THEIR " Other Car" ...lol
  17. I was the only one that showed up for One armed Bandits last time, so I thought I'd give it another shot.
  18. I'm not sure if this was the same spot I started having a weekly movie where qwe all watch an episode together, but here it is...this week it's Daisy's Song.
  19. That's a good find! I noticed that there are a lot of " Charlies " in the show....Jesse calls almost any male he's passing on a street cornet etc. Charlie. " Hey Charlie"
  20. Wow! For a minor character, who was name only...he was in a lot of episodes!!
  21. Here's one I think you missed...Mr. Pruitt...he blew his stack when Bo brought his daughter home 2days late from the hay ride.
  22. Right on! Well, you're not but 4-5 yrs. older than me Roger. I remember when it was brand new, '79...I was 14...freshman in high school. I still watched it religiously ever since but when I turned 16....too many friends, girls and malls to check out!
  23. You too Boss!!
  24. Yea, but remember, when ….can't remember what it was, but Jesse didn't want Bo and Luke to be involved and so he told them to go stay with aunt Lovinia….when Bo and Luke talked about it, Luke said, " Hell, he hasn't talked to aunt Lovinia in 20 yrs. ".....now I remember..it was when the Ridge Runners were blowing up stills and Jesse was trying to cover for them and when he found out Bo and Luke were being blamed, he told them to go see aunt Lovinia for a while. That's why I think Jesse's wife's name was Martha....he said it when him and Lucinda were sitting on the porch together. Something to the effect of "When Martha passed, without the boys and Daisy to look after I would've gone crazy".
