sorry to hear about that! Around here, I wouldn't have a nice car! It's too dangerous....takes people 2 spaces to park, stop lights and stop signs are optional ( if you don't want to stop...don't!), and " I " always have the right of way! They're still arguing about what that mirror ,hanging from the ceiling, over the dashboard is! I can't tell you how many times, people have pulled directly in front of me ! It does keep your reflexes sharp though! You learn not to assume anything! ( e.g. " They see me", " They'll stop!")

Most definitely....but your idea and my idea of what a Redneck is, is probably a lot different. Those who control the minds of Americans didn't see fit to make it popular or we would use Appalachian American today, just like we use words like racist, sexist, prejudice, etc. etc.

WOW!! I can't believe it's been that long! I remember the big thing for us when we were in 9th-10th grade, was Friday night sitting in front of the TV, watching the show. My friends did the same! Do you guys remember the crooked sheriff in Cool Hands Bo and Luke? Cashius Claiborne I think? It seems he was in the original movie, Cool Hands Luke and played a similar part in this TDOH episode. I saw where he died at 93, but can't get the article to copy/paste for some reason. I think he was in one or two other DOH episodes, if I'm not mistaken....
