You're talking about Leo Gordon, Roger. He also played Devere in 'The Meeting' (which I watched last weekend). Leo appeared in five episodes of 'Gunsmoke' between 1956 and 1974. Apparently, Leo also played Sgt. Theodore Kirk in three episodes of Dukes spin-off 'Enos'.

We've gone into full lockdown here since last night. I was still working roughly as usual until yesterday, but then our leader announced tighter controls, and I got a text from work saying that we'd be closed for a couple of weeks. Here are some of the restrictions: Members of the public must stay at home in all circumstances, except: Travelling to and from work where work is an essential health, social care or other essential service that can't be done from home. To shop for essential food and household goods or attend medical appointments and collect medicines. For vital family reasons such as providing care to children, elderly or vulnerable people but excluding social family visits. To take brief physical exercise within 2km of your own home, as well as for farming purposes and food production. Now I have time to do projects around the house, but all the stores are closed, so I can't buy the things I need to do them! Supermarkets are now limiting the number of customers allowed inside, and people have to queue outside at two meters apart until they're let in. Having said that, eggs and pasta were the only products noticeably out of stock at the store I visited today.

I didn't know it was Cale's birthday, but I've just finished watching 'Dukes Meet Cale Yarborough' on TV. It's been a while since I've had a chance to watch many full episodes, so having them back on TV is a good excuse to catch up again.

I had to google the Barn Busters Play Set - you've done a great job of recreating your missing barn.

"Lee 1" wreck from "Repo Man" -- PROGRESS PICS

It took me a while to see where you were going with all that hole cutting, but the finished article makes perfect sense. Great work as usual. I look forward to seeing this build develop. -
Very impressive. Great job, Andrew.

With the 2020 F1 season currently on hold, some of the teams are refocussing their production efforts to making ventilators for coronavirus patients. Below is an extract - the full article is here. Meanwhile, the Agnelli family, which controls Ferrari and Fiat, donated 10m euro to the Italian government to help deal with the coronavirus emergency at a national level, as well as buying 150 extra ventilators and providing a fleet of cars to distribute food and medicine.

I've just got back from my usual Saturday walk around town, and I'd guess that about two thirds of the stores are closed. That number's gone up considerably since Tuesday when I was last in town. A lot of shops have got tape on the floor to indicate where to stand, and I passed a cafe still doing takeaway with about eight people queueing outside at 2 meter intervals. The grocery stores are pretty much re-stocked as normal, with just a few lines missing. Despite all the signs advising shoppers to keep a safe distance from others, several people were blocking aisles talking to friends, meaning I virtually had to touch them to get past! At least Dukes is back on TV over here to keep me entertained, although tomorrow we've got 'Double Sting' on at 1.00pm and 6.00pm GMT. It seems a bit too close to home at the moment.

I saw the sad news this morning. Like Flint Duke, I'm also a fan of The Gambler (below). Coward of the County is another track I remember from years ago.

Yes, Janeen played Mary Lou Tompkins in 'A Baby for the Dukes'.

Someone on IMCDb points out that when Roxanne Huntley sniffs the gas tank at the end of 'High Octane', the car's original color appears to be brown. However, given the damage that Burt's car must've sustained in the chase, especially that hard landing across the back of the barge, I doubt that it would still have been around six years later.
-
IMCDb has Black Tillie designated as a 1971 Ford Custom 500, but there is some debate about the exact model due to all the chrome being removed/painted over. That is the same make/model and year as the car driven by Burt in 'White Lightning'.

In the first season, the equipment was supplied by Martin Archery (their name appears in the end credits of each episode). You can see Luke using a Martin Cougar in the opening scene of 'Daisy's Song' (below). If I remember correctly, Bo's bow was a Martin Warthog.

It was Dorothy Collier. She appeared as Sherry Tolliver in the 1979 episode 'The Rustlers' (S02E03), and married Jimmie in 1986. Janeen Best, Jimmie's daughter from a previous marriage, is now known as Janeen Damian. Her IMDb page includes credits for her as an actress, writer and producer.

What episode am I remembering or mis-remembering ? ?

The water tanks seemed to appear when they started using models. -
I was looking forward to the first F1 race of the season tomorrow. It seems that fans were already at the gates of the track when they cancelled it yesterday. Nearly all sporting events are off over here, although my brother still got to see a lower league soccer match in the UK today.

I popped into a grocery shop last night and the shelves were pretty bare, but I went to a few more today and most things were back in stock. Some stores have rationed items such of toilet paper to try to prevent selfish idiots hoarding them unnecessarily.

The scene sounds familiar, but the nearest I can think of in the Coy and Vance episodes is Vance pulling dynamite off of an arrow, lighting it, and then dropping it on the Mean Green Machine as the General jumps it. It's near the end of 'The New Dukes' (S05E01). A clip appears in the opening credits of the Coy and Vance episodes in place of LEE 1's Oxford College jump. Maybe it was Bo or Luke who fired a dynamite arrow mid-jump. I'll keep looking. -
I just came across this - it reminds me of the Dukes making "alternative fuel" in 'High Octane' The man on the right is Marvin 'Popcorn' Sutton.

Ireland's shutting down at 6pm (GMT). Both of the social events I was going to tonight have been cancelled, as has next week's St. Patrick's Day parade. I went to the supermarket last night and there was very little bread or milk available. So far, I'm just buying what I would do normally.

I've never come across Shout! Factory, but their FAQ page says "Most of our actual releases are Region 1/A locked, due to the fact that we almost always do not have the legal right to sell our products outside of North America." Unless you have a multi-region player, you'll need Region 2 for the UK. They don't seem to be selling Dukes at the moment anyway. There are plenty of copies on ebay, both new and used. If you don't mind used, the Milton Keynes and Bletchley branches of Cex currently have the Season 1 boxset in stock for £8.00.
