  1. I doubt I'll get a chance to look at any of them for a week or two, but to answer your question:

    Allied Security Decals

    Maybe

United States Marshall Decals, Tri County Bonding Company Decals, State Revenue Service Decals

    Coming soon

2005/2007 Hazzard County Police Car Gold Star on Doors Decal

Probably not, although I have red/blue decals for the white car

#107 Racecar From Duke Vs Duke Door Number and Gold Trim, #32 Racecar From Carnival of Thrills Door Number

    Maybe

If I get enough time to do a Chevelle I'll do both the race cars (unlikely to be soon)

  2. You get a good close-up of one of the Shelby wheels in 'Repo Men' - I think it's outside Ace's car lot. Looks like they're using Summit tires.
  3. You are still avoiding telling me what you plan to do with the images, but it's the first I've heard of this.

  4. This sounds like an odd thing for someone in Ireland to be worrying about - must be because you're in a city. Are they really going to be checking IDs? Maybe the venue has had trouble before, or there's an insurance issue. According to the law it's ok for children aged between 15-17 years to remain on the premises after 9pm (10pm May to September) where they are attending a private function at which a substantial meal is served. You can check it out on www.citizensinformation.ie. Do you get a meal? There wasn't anything equivalent to the debs or a prom in the UK - probably just as well because I went to an all boys school . Maybe you could get an over 18 friend to enquire about the venue's policy without mentioning your name. A few years ago I saw a group waiting for the bus that was taking them to their debs. Most of the girls looked quite grown-up in posh dresses (a few had strange fashion ideas), whereas most of the boys looked like fourteen-year-olds who'd been made to have a bath and put a suit on. It's amazing how much the age gap shows at these events.
  5. How about a bit of soul?: This 1967 classic is by Aretha's older sister. As "Weird Al" would say: You can torture me With Donnie & Marie You can play some Barry Manilow Or you can play some schlock Like New Kids On The Block Or any Village People song you know Or play Vanilla Ice Hey, you can play him twice And you can play the Bee Gees any day But Mr. DJ, please I'm beggin' on my knees I just can't take no more of Billy Ray Don't play that song That "Achy Breaky" song The most annoying song I know And if you play that song That "Achy Breaky" song I might blow up my radio, ooo ...
  6. My album

All the pictures are mixed up.

  7. You can see Lee01383's wheels here. If they don't have center caps, one easy way to tell the American Racing wheels is that they should have "American Racing Equipment" stamped on the back: If you don't find this stamp it doesn't necessarily mean you have Shelby wheels; there were other manufacturers that made this style. I found a set of Rocket Vector wheels on Ebay when I looked earlier.
  8. I think this is another of Garrett's favorite groups :
  9. All four episodes are listed on CMT.com: 4.00 PM Mrs. Daisy Hogg 5.00 PM Double Dukes 6.00 PM Diamonds in the Rough 7.00 PM Coltrane Vs. Duke
  10. Hi Zrad, welcome to HNet .
  11. I spotted this knife in 'Too Many Roscos'. It's from the scene where Bo and Luke are tied up in the same shack as Rosco (although they haven't discovered him at this point). The main part of the handle is bone colored, so it may be the same as the one Sissy saw in 'Miz Tisdale on the Lam' (see above). The handle also features a fancy gold portion nearest the blade: I'll have to leave the identification of his one to you guys. Everyone here doesn't own a knife (unless they live in Limerick - joke for Irish readers there ), so I have no personal experience.
  12. I use Photobucket. They've increased the sizes you can post for free since I signed up.

  13. I keep adding pictures to my "unknown" folder, so it's great when I can pull a couple out and cross them off the list. I was actually trying to find a completely different location when I found this one. The pictures are from near the end of 'Hazzard Connection'. Most of the action takes place on either Carlisle Road or Potrero Road near Lake Sherwood. For some reason this very short scene was filmed nowhere near there. A few posts back I posted some pictures from Placerita Canyon Road. If I'd only kept following it I'd have found this place earlier. It's right at the end at the intersection with Sand Canyon Road. The houses in the background are still there, but they're now hidden by trees. Here's the view from a different angle with Placerita Canyon Road on the right. Click here to see how it looks today. If you zoom out of Street View and go about half a mile south from this intersection you come to Sable Ranch where the obstacle course from the game show 'Wipeout' is located. You'll have to zoom right in and have the 45 degree view turned on to see it properly, otherwise you'll just see unfinished blue shapes in a field.
  14. I can't really answer that question. If I'm just looking for a particular image, and I know where to find it, I can have a screengrab posted in under 10 minutes. With the patrol cars I may have to go through several episodes before I find one good picture. Along the way I might find other scenes to grab for other purposes, and also some of them need a fair amount of research.

I plan to complete the Patrol Cars in Pictures thread ASAP, but that may still be a couple of months. It will include all seven seasons as well as both reunion movies. I don't have the 2005/2007 movies and don't really have any interest in them. I know I did the race car decals, but that was because I had assumed that the use of mainly stock logos would make it a relatively easy job. If I'd known the amount of work involved, I probably wouldn't have done them.

  15. David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser had cameos in the 2004 Starsky and Hutch movie, as did Dwight Schultz and Dirk Benedict in the 2010 A-Team movie, so there is a precedent for the original stars to appear in remakes. Having said that, it would need to be much better script than the last two Dukes movies to entice any of our favorites back (just my opinion, obviously).
  16. I try to skip through every episode - that's why it takes so long.

  17. chips (that's what you guys call fries, not what we call crisps )
  18. I've been proofreading all week, but it's about time I added some more patrol car pictures - there's only 2 seasons left to do.

  19. I love the idea that there's another kind of facts .
  20. I did. It's a shame Jeff Gordon didn't though - I think a win was the birthday present Garrett was looking for .
  21. You can have my two cents Roger. I read a few forums on this subject last night, and I believe there are a number of factors. The fact that she's a rookie may have had an influence on NASCAR's decision, although I don't see it as an excuse for her behavior. Her being a girl (they call female drivers in lower formulae 'lady racers' over here) is probably an indirect influence: NASCAR want viewers, and are probably banking on Danica bringing some new viewers with her. Suspending her would risk losing these new viewers, even if some of them are only watching because, to quote you, "she's a she". I find Danica's behavior the other night to be at odds with what I've seen before. I haven't seen any of the IndyCar series this year, but I've seen quite a few races from the previous two seasons, and I don't remember her doing anything like this. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
  22. Unfortunately, the uploader of that video didn't want anyone from my region to see it . I found HD footage of the crash . I've seen some of the male drivers behave like that; Danica obviously figures that to succeed, she has to be that stupid too. I don't mind a bit of nudging, it adds to the sport, but dangerous behavior like that should get an automatic suspension. If she'd tried it on the road she'd probably be in jail.
  23. You're right Garrett, it does have a good message. How about some mellow reggae? There Are More Questions Than Answers - Johnny Nash I first heard this song back in the '80s when the BBC used it for the Mystery Personality round in their sports quiz 'A Question of Sport'. The show's still going, but they no longer use this great tune.
