Well all the talk about having no flag on the roof of our beloved General Lee was all for nothing apparently. There is a new member - beanie_biologist , who posted about filming in another thread . It was said that they saw the General , Daisy's jeep and patrol cars and the General had the flag....YYYYYYEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAA Darrell

Daney My black interior one has the wrong plate, as I think this was the first year ERTL production based on the regualr American Muscle series chargers. I think they were just repackeaged as the Genreral Lee. My beige interior ones are the not the models , but the American Muscle series 1/18th with the 1/64th car and they have the correct plate. Darrell

It looks like ERTL is repackaging the entertainmet die casts , rebranding the line as Joyride Studios. Maybe it is just the way the ERTL/RC has the site set up, all the movie stuff under Joyride Studios...

Thank you so much for posting the pic. I have tried also to see if the fla was on the General. Like Brian , I can't tell....Just too hard to tell for these eyes. An yes it does feel weird seeing different people around the General like that.... Darrell

MaryAnne, I have to thank you for making me take out my diecasts . Ijust had to check them out....All mine have the correct plate CNH 320.... thanks again...LOL Darrell

Brian Thanks for the news from ERTL. I have a couple of different 1/18th scale Generals, one has black interior, one has tan interior and one has tan and the 1/64th car...Now I got to get another one, I don't know if it is ggod or bad..LOL Darrell

I would love to see the General in a royal blue color. I think the General needs a color that it make it stand out. This a tough question.....

Yeah it would be nice if they filmed in the original locations, Covington and Conyers GA. Not sure how much of the original settings are still in good shape to film....There is a website that pictures of the settings back then and of today, some didn't look too good...

Anyone watch the Outlaws concert on CMT last week. With all the people on there like Montgomery Gentry, Kid Rock , Gretchen Wilson, Hank Jr., Lynyrd Skynyrd, Big & Rich, I think that would give us a glimpse of what direction the music should go in. That would be the ideal line-up . But the producers might go with some other artists. I guess getting the rights and liscenses for the songs is another story. Darrell

Those are some pics of the "Xtreme Lee"....That is a great looking car. I love the scheme as if the flag and numbers are flowing fast through the wind....Just awesome How did ya do at the SEMA show? Make any contacts ? Let us know.. Darrell

Randy does have a great voice for the Balladeer.....BUT I think he has that innocence about him in his acting that would make him a great Enos. just watch his roles on Matlock - the Andy Griffith show and in Black Dog with Patrick Swayze. Let's see who Hollywood has in mind for Enos, probably no one we would expect I guess.. Darrell

After watching it a couple of times the only one , in my opinion- which I know don't mean anything, was Gretchen Wilson. Hank Jr did a great job also. Come on Hazzardnet, someone must have watched it........ Darrell

Hey Y'all Did anyone watch the Outlaws concert on CMT ? Hank Jr, Kid Rock, Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich , Lynyrd Skynyrd, James Hetfield (Metallica)Montgomery Gentry, Shooter Jennings, Jessi Colter, Tanya Tucker performed . It got me to thinking that this could be pretty much on what the Dukes movie soundtrack should have on it. Kid Rock did a country version of Queen's Fat Bottom Girls ...I kinda liked it...the only performance I was not thrilled about was Tanya Tucker singing Me And Bobby McGee.... Any other thoughts on this concert?? Darrell

Val You made voting this election year fun. I think when I go vote again I will thinking of your little mishap...LOL..... I voted this year. In my opinion only, I felt we didn't have a good candidate who had it all together. Kerry had some good points and Bush had some good points and both had bad views too. It was a very difficult decision. Let's us just hope and pray America will come away stronger then ever before. God Bless America Darrell

I am so sorry I missed it, I was looking forward to finally really chatting with y'all. Unfortunately we had a death in the family and the funeral was on Saturday. We ended up staying with family over the weekend.... I hope there will be another chat soon . I look forward to it.... Darrell
