Hey Y'all I have a couple I would like to see. 1970 Pontiac GTO " The Judge" and a 1975 Chevy El Camino and a 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS w/454...Wait they were all featured in the movie - "Dazed And Confused" But the car I want featured more in a movie is Eleanor - 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500 from the movie Gone In Seconds..There is something about seeing those Mustangs on the big screen.... Chevy Chase as Roscoe???? I will have to disagree on that one. I can't picture Chevy trying to pull it off especially after the movies he has been in. Not the type to play Roscoe.....I would have liked Randy Quaide to be Roscoe, but unfortunately it has already been cast .... Darrell

Jessica doesn't have that downhome charm or just natural beauty, in my opinion. There was something I can't explain, something like smarts, personality , charm, that Catherine Bach had to be Daisy and I still feel that Gretchen Wilson reminds me a whole lot of that when I see her on TV... Hey did anybody watch the Jessica and Nick X-mas special? My daughters watched it and I watched the first five minutes..She is just unbelievable at trying to play the dumb blonde part. And this is what they want to play Daisy? Darrell

With the movies and roles he has played, he seems tobe more of a meaner character. Maybe that is the direction they are going with Roscoe for the movie....Let's hope not... Darrell

I think everyone on this here site had some great choices about the cast. We are all true DOH fans on here and wanted nothing but the best for this movie to be successful. Having the original cast in at least a cameo or something would be ideal for all of us. ....But what made the Dukes so successsful was the chemistry between everyone. Now let's hope the movie has some of that... Darrell

Did y'all see Jessica Simpson on Access Hollywood last night? She was being interviewed by Billy Bush. They showed her filming her Daisy Duke scenes with her white Jeep - Rubicon edition. Nothing really said about the Dukes movie, asked her about text messaging her hubby and some fluff Dasiy stuff... Darrell

Well all the talk about having no flag on the roof of our beloved General Lee was all for nothing apparently. There is a new member - beanie_biologist , who posted about filming in another thread . It was said that they saw the General , Daisy's jeep and patrol cars and the General had the flag....YYYYYYEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAA Darrell

Daney My black interior one has the wrong plate, as I think this was the first year ERTL production based on the regualr American Muscle series chargers. I think they were just repackeaged as the Genreral Lee. My beige interior ones are the not the models , but the American Muscle series 1/18th with the 1/64th car and they have the correct plate. Darrell

It looks like ERTL is repackaging the entertainmet die casts , rebranding the line as Joyride Studios. Maybe it is just the way the ERTL/RC has the site set up, all the movie stuff under Joyride Studios...

Thank you so much for posting the pic. I have tried also to see if the fla was on the General. Like Brian , I can't tell....Just too hard to tell for these eyes. An yes it does feel weird seeing different people around the General like that.... Darrell
