  1. Better late than never, right?
  2. I got a 33. Is that a bad thing?
  3. We decided to give it a break for a while.
  4. A little tribute to producer Skip Ward, no doubt...
  5. It's such a shame they tore Laramie Street down. I explored it a little bit while I was on the DOH reunion sets, but I could've spent much more time there. Right next to the Pantages was a collector's dream, The Collector's Bookstore. I got a TON of 8x10s from Dukes and from other shows/movies the cast members were in. You could ask for photos of the most obscure actor, show, or movie and they'd come back with a stack about 3-4" high of 8x10s. I dropped some serious coin there. LOL. Unfortunately, it closed down and liquidated its inventory a few years ago. It was by far my favorite place in Hollywood.
  6. I'm going through my old VHS tapes and putting some up on ebay for cheap. There are a few movies, but mostly DOH episodes (the Columbia House collection). All the DOH tapes have been opened and viewed once and are in pretty good shape. If any of you are interested, you can check 'em out here: http://shop.ebay.com/meadowmufn/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25
  7. It'll be interesting to see how they implement this version of the Lone Ranger. Don't forget, John Hart also played the Lone Ranger. Though Clayton Moore is probably best known for playing the part.
  8. Warner Bros. stopped using that logo and went back to the shield logo in 1984. So, that ad is probably from 1984 or prior. That narrows it down a little. My guess is that it was to celebrate the return of Tom and John in Season 5 in Feb of 1983. The sign looks pretty weathered, so at the time this picture was taken, it had probably been up for a year or so.
  9. CBS in LA is channel 2, so that would make sense.
  10. primadonna
  11. Those pics convince me Hoss has it right. If you look on Google Maps, there are like 40 bazillion junkyards, scrap metal recycling, and car wrecking yards around there.
  12. Nope, I think Hoss was right. The power station in Manhattan only has 2 stacks. I think in my mind I was combining the Redondo Beach power plant (4 stacks, but not red and white.. some of which have been removed since I left CA) with the Manhattan one (2 red and white stacks). And yes, I love this thread too!
  13. Those stacks are very familiar to me. I believe they're around Manhattan Beach. They might not exist anymore, but I'll check Google Maps.
  14. Thanks. James Best himself gave the nickname to me some 15 years ago.

  15. Update: I ended up purchasing it at iTunes. And just wanted to let y'all know that the artist himself has signed up here at HazzardNet.
  16. Yep, I found it on iTunes. Love it.

  17. Welcome to HazzardNet!

  18. Wow, $200. Yeah, shoulda treated that gee-tar a little better, MaryAnne. LOL. I found this rare Dukes of Hazzard paint by numbers set at a more reasonable price. The current bid is $6. I've never seen one of those before.
  19. I never said they were behaving themselves. Khee!
  20. Another Aussie! I work with a great bunch of Aussies every day. Welcome aboard and enjoy your stay at HazzardNet!
  21. Btw, if anybody makes the paper General Lee model, please post pics here or in the gallery.
  22. Well, I'll be... First, we have a General Lee in plush. And now a paper General Lee model. Just when you think you've seen everything... Anybody else have some innovative General Lee models? LOL. Perhaps I should clean out the clothes dryer and try one in lint... Khee! A General Lee in lint... A General Lint! LOL.
  23. I'm pretty sure that's Six Flags Magic Mountain. If I recall correctly, they ran some of the fight/chase through the Jet Stream ride and that big coaster is most definitely is Colossus. On an aside, Castaic Lake (used to go fishing there) is not too far from there and in one episode, I could've sworn I saw Rosco drive past a big sign that said "Castaic" on it. LOL. I think it was a 2nd season episode, but I don't recall.
  24. Contrary to popular belief, an admin's opinion holds no more weight than anybody else's. I think we've done a darn good job of allowing people to express their opinions freely and openly here, even if we don't agree with them. Would you prefer a place where we just deleted everything and banned every member we didn't agree with? I sure wouldn't. It would be a pretty lonely place, wouldn't it? Just ask the many people here who have gotten second chances after breaking rules, harrassing, or what have you. I think we do a pretty fair job of providing an open forum and being as inclusive as possible. Frankly, the reason Brian and MaryAnne are admins along with me is because, like me, they can allow disagreement and still get along with folks. We only take drastic measures when things turn ugly and I think this debate has stayed pretty on topic and respectful for the most part.
  25. Che mangino spaghetti!
