  1. You know, I was going to say I'd never heard of gold General Lees, but I see I posted in your ebay thread about it, Hoss. So, I can only plead Alzheimer's. LOL.
  2. Hazzard Homecoming gallery added! http://www.hazzardnet.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=560

  4. Welcome to HazzardNet, Wesley!
  5. You can find that info in our FAQ.
  6. I never had the Daisy Duke underoos. I was more into Wonder Woman and Batgirl at the time. LOL.
  7. I'll have you know I sneaked back and left an extra $20 tip for their trouble while you weren't lookin'. LOL. (Who says Dukes fans aren't good tippers!??!) I'd have hated to have to clean that table up after our "french fry football" game. Or was it tater tots?
  8. By my calculations, WB would have had to have sold $100,000,000 in merchandise with Jimmie's likeness on it to owe him $5 million (and half a billion to get to $25 million). That seems a little high to me (considering the 2005 movie didn't even gross that much.) WB contends it's sold about $3.5 million in merchandise. That might be a little low. As Brian said, I think the truth lies somewhere in between.
  9. I remember that place. Don't they usually have the Luray County Fair around that time of year too? That was a blast when we went. That was almost 10 years ago. Wow, how time flies.
  10. No, this is just all part of my plan. Everyone forgot all about me and I slipped out using the failsafes I put in place to ensure I didn't get trapped by some over ambitious moderators. Y'all haven't even noticed I escaped yet!
  11. If I recall correctly, the place is on route 211. The motel we stayed at in 2001 was reasonable. It was fairly clean, though a tad "older". Brian probably remembers what the place was called, as I don't. We'll research this and get back to ya.
  12. I deleted some PMs. Try again.

  13. The Hoff has some really weird videos. LOL. Hooked on a Feeling This is a total rip off of YMCA.
  14. I've been there a lot over the years. Misheard lyrics are called mondegreens. The name comes from a poem that writer Sylvia Wright misheard when she was young... Ye Highlands and ye Lowlands, Oh, where hae ye been? They hae slain the Earl O' Moray, And laid him on the green. The last line was misheard as "And Lady Mondegreen". Check out Elton's page. He's got some fantastic mondegreens. LOL.
  15. I, for one, am very happy for you, Val. You've come a long way. Much happiness and many blessings in your marriage.
  16. I haven't read through the entire thread and I don't recall if I ever replied to this (other than my reply today), but I don't think it's weird to have a wide interest in music. I have very eclectic tastes in music. Funny Hoss should mention Falco, as I was just listening to him a few weeks ago (Vienna Calling, Der Kommisar). Right now, I'm listening to Cole Porter tunes. I love Django Reinhardt, especially Daphne and Brazil. I listen to both kinds of music, country and western (Blues Brothers reference. LOL). I listen to Big Band, jazz, rock (especially classic and southern rock), alternative, pop, disco, Motown, R&B, Gospel, etc. Pretty much the only thing I don't listen to is rap and death metal. LOL. But I'll give almost anything a listen once. Some of my old favorites (and some new favorites)... It will be a long list. Louis Armstrong Louis Prima and Keely Smith Ella Fitzgerald Sam & Dave Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass Booker T and the MGs Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 David Kane and Them Jazzbeards Abba Simon & Garfunkel Muse Elton John Billy Joel The Monkees The Beatles Billy Preston Blues Traveler Dave Matthews Band (the older stuff) Charlie Daniels Band CCR Dave Brubeck Dolly Parton Huey Lewis and the News Jim Croce Jimi Hendrix Lynyrd Skynyrd Royksopp Three Dog Night Talking Heads Toby Keith John Anderson Weird Al Danny Elfman Thomas Dolby Jerry Reed Hoyt Axton I could go on and on....
  17. Ken Leeeeeee... tulibu dibu douchoo! I saw that video many years ago and LMAO. I ran across it while viewing Buffalax's "translations" of songs. Just go to Youtube, search on "Buffalax", and you'll find a slew of them. My favorite is Moskau. Warning: some of the lyrics are adult in nature.
  18. Wow! I'm glad you're ok. Keep us updated about your recovery. And for future reference, try to keep heavy metal objects away from your head. LOL.
  19. Better late than never, right?
  20. I got a 33. Is that a bad thing?
  21. We decided to give it a break for a while.
  22. A little tribute to producer Skip Ward, no doubt...
  23. It's such a shame they tore Laramie Street down. I explored it a little bit while I was on the DOH reunion sets, but I could've spent much more time there. Right next to the Pantages was a collector's dream, The Collector's Bookstore. I got a TON of 8x10s from Dukes and from other shows/movies the cast members were in. You could ask for photos of the most obscure actor, show, or movie and they'd come back with a stack about 3-4" high of 8x10s. I dropped some serious coin there. LOL. Unfortunately, it closed down and liquidated its inventory a few years ago. It was by far my favorite place in Hollywood.
  24. I'm going through my old VHS tapes and putting some up on ebay for cheap. There are a few movies, but mostly DOH episodes (the Columbia House collection). All the DOH tapes have been opened and viewed once and are in pretty good shape. If any of you are interested, you can check 'em out here: http://shop.ebay.com/meadowmufn/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25
