  1. Thanks TomBo. I feel a little better. However, saying it can't be torn down isn't as good as saying that someone is responsible to insure that it won't fall down on it's own. I would feel better if I knew someone is responsible for it's upkeeping.
  2. Montgomery Gentry (Julie, who's Poppy Montgomery?)
  3. Danger on the Hazzard Express
  4. What are you talking about Brian, you're a good moderator. (By the way, we are still doing that challenge where we post stuff that is untrue and meaningless, right?)
  5. Julie, daisyXenos and B.L. got it right. What unusual thing did they do to the General Lee on "Arrest Jesse Duke"? 1) painted it green 2) painted it black 3) turned it into a ghost 4) sold it 5) made it a 4 wheel drive
  6. No MaryAnne, it's my fault. I challenged him to write a quality post. Of course I'm still trying to write my first quality post too. Both of us are pretty competitive so the race is on. *Dueling Banjos begin playing* I suspect before this is all over we'll both have more posts than JulieDuke does and we'll still be a long way from the finish line. *sits back, folds hands and dreams of what it would be like to write a meaningful post* Woops, I needed the edit button on this one. The challenge was to write posts of NO quality. (I guess I succeeded again.)
  7. Trace (Hmmm, I'm not sure if Trace spells his last name the same way....I'm more of a Charlie Daniels man myself)
  8. Hi Matt, Welcome to Hazzard County. You sure sound like the kind of feller who belongs here. There sure are a lot of places to explore on this website. Make use of all of them. I can tell by your enthusiasm that you're going to be a welcome addition to the HazzardNet.
  9. WOW.....30 YEARS!!!! ......and 10 years of HazzardNet!!!! I love the Dukes of Hazzard so much. It's the only thing on television that I ever have allowed to shape me as a person. I'm so thankful to Gy Waldron for creating the Dukes and also for everybody involved with the show. I'm also thankful for all my Hazzardite friends here....especially the HazzardNet's creators for 10 great years. I wish I would have been here 10 years ago. I'm proud that I have been a fan for 3 decades now. I'm also proud of all the young folks here on the HazzardNet who will pass down the tradition of Hazzard County to many future generations.
  10. oven (I think it's bisque....it's French)

  14. Thanks for posting these TomBo. It really hurts to think that the farmhouse might fall down....at least it looks like it might. Hopefully the foundation, floor joists and wall studs are still solid and there's no danger of them collapsing. In my opinion it should be placed on the National Registry of Historic Landmarks. I know I'm biased because I love Dukes so much but if you look at some of the obscure places that are on that Registry, they pale in comparison to the significance of this house on our culture. Maybe one of you folks with computer skills (of which I have next to none) could research what it takes to get on that list. This building is certainly worth consideration.
  15. I agree with MaryAnne. I'm impressed with this thread dukefan. You're sure rattling these off quick. It makes me want to log in more often. Keep up the good work!!!
  16. cooking (Hey good lookin', whatcha got cookin'?)

  21. Right Alex. I believe you have 128 in a row correct. If you don't think that sounds right, I'll go back and check but I'm pretty sure that's right (I might be pretty sure but I sure ain't pretty) What two infamous bad guys were featured on "Go West Young Dukes"?
  22. You both got it right. Daisy has 259 in a row (and 317 out of 318) Which of these were on the show? Reverend Billy Thompson or Deacon Lyle Perkins Mud River Road or Black Water Crossroads (episode names) The Rustlers or The Rescue
  23. frustrated
