  1. Here's a question for you. How big of a holiday is St. Patrick's Day over there? Do schools close down or anything?
  2. Then you must be talking about Hogg's Heckcat (sorry for the slight alteration of the name...it's a family website) LOL
  3. "Police work is my life...khee khee"
  4. Now my brain is going (stand back...that usually means trouble) One of the Ridge Raiders has a very distinctive voice and was in a lot of Disney cartoons. I'm going to put that episode in now and see if I can figure out what his real name is. I can't even think of what his ficticious name was on "The Return of the Ridge Raiders."
  5. Not bad for an old timer! (usually I'm wrong so I celebrate big time when I get something right) LOL
  6. Thanks Bo. My 5000th post isn't a big milestone compared to what's coming up. I only need to have 5 more posts that make sense to get my 10th! Maybe I'll post something that makes sense tonight so I'll be down to 4 more. If I could only think of something....

  8. Hmmm, that's a toughie. It wasn't on "Happy Birthday General Lee" was it? ...or Dr Jekyl and Mr. Duke?
  9. You sure have some great computer skills Hoss. I listened to the song (I haven't heard it in 30 years I bet) and they mention the train at the end. I don't think it's included in the lyrics because they're talking and not singing. It's at the very end right after they mention the ugly stick if you're interested. Thanks for posting that link! Good memories!
  10. I have that written in my Dukes notebook but never bothered to look up where the zip code was from. I know zip codes go from east to west so I just assumed it was some town in Maine. Thanks Hoss!
  11. That makes me wonder how long the quote about the freight train and dirt road has been around. Somewhere about the time the Dukes was coming out (when Ben met Cathy like his quote said) there was a song called "When You're Ugly Like Us" it had a lyric that said something about somebody being so ugly they'd make a freight train take a dirt road. I guess they'll take dirt roads for folks who are extremely beautiful or real ugly! LOL BTW George Jones was one of the singers. I can't remember who the other was.
  12. Ahhh, that was the legendary Scatman Carruthers. I recognized that famous voice but couldn't think of his name..thanks!
  13. No wonder the two of you have such good computer skills. I saw the making of that video also. I hate to ask but what show is Jazz from? Is he from the Transformers show or is he from a different show like that good looking orange transformer?
  14. *hands shotgun to Molly then looks her in the eye with deep concern* Jesse "Now Molly, I've known ya since ya were a little kid, now tell me what's goin' on" Molly "We're fine Jesse. Alice just looked out the window and from where she was sittin' all she could see is the end of the shotgun. She didn't know it was you who was holdin' it" Jesse *stern voice* "I ain't buyin' it. Alice has seen enough shotguns in 'er life to not scream like a banshee. Now what's goin' on?" Alice "It's the monster! I thought ya was the monster!" Molly *angry* "Alice, you git yerself out back and quit talkin' nonsense!" *Alice runs out back door* Molly "You can just git yerself home now Jesse Duke. Thank ya fer brinngin' the shotgun back but it's time fer ya to go." Jesse "What's this talk of a monster?" Molly "You know how Alice gits. If there was a monster out there she wouldn't be screamin' about it....she'd be wantin' to wrastle it. She just has a wild imagination. You have a nice trip home and thanks again." *Molly lightly pushes Jesse's chest until he backs out of the door then she slams it shut*

  17. Welcome to the HazzardNet!!

  18. *Jesse takes the shotgun off "safe" thinking somebody or something might be inside attacking Molly or Alice. The air become silent with no trace of any aftereffects from the scream. Jesse wonders if he should intrude. He is concerned if he goes in he might witness an unspeakable horror. He is concerned if he doesn't go in he might miss an opportunity to save Molly and Alice. Jesse opens the door slowly.* "Alice? Molly? Can ya hear me? This is Jesse Duke here." Molly "Jesse, is that you?" Jesse "It's me." Molly "Are ya alone?" Jesse "Yep, nobody 'ere with me 'cept yer shotgun that ya left in the truck" *Door opens. Jesse is greeted by Molly while Alice is in the back of the room shaking like a leaf from fear*
  19. That is so cool!!! *in Rosco voice* "I love it. I love it!" That looks like it took a lot of time to make but it sure was worth it!
  20. I know A is Daisy's Jeep and B is Rosco but I don't know the other ones. I think Jesse's truck is C. I can't believe I don't know that one. These are just guesses: D) Enos E) Cletus F) Cooter (the Z sure seems familiar) G) Boss (although I thought he was Boss-1 on some eps)

  22. Now that's funny...no wonder I like this Hoss feller so much!
  23. Hi Bo, I see you're logged in!

  24. Since I don't really like to travel far from home I've never been to a DukesFest. The cool thing about Ray's show is how they play it out like a full episode. (In case anybody didn't catch my review of the last show go back to the original page on this thread to see it.) What I was really thrilled about, was just being around so many other fans of the show. Of course you get that when you go to autograph signings where the stars are but the feeling at these stunt shows is much different. You feel as if you are in Hazzard County watching a day in the life of the Duke boys and the rest of the good folks of Hazzard. I'm excited about experiencing it again. I can't wait until Saturday!
  25. *Jesse calmly walks past the big gator without event. It had been awhile since he had been out to Molly's shack but he managed to weave his way through the thick vegetation, quicksand, gators, snakes and bird-sized mosquitos, then finally located the beaten up shack. It appeared that Molly and Alice had already gone inside. At least that's what Jesse assumed since he hadn't run across them on the dangerous path. Jesse knocked on the door. Immediately a blood curdling scream pierced his old ears and sent shivers up his spine.*
