  1. I just went to the local fair in my area and was walking through the model car section and a General Lee caught my eye. It was a homemade version and I couldn't touch it but it looked like it was made out of wood. For some reason all it got was an honorable mention. If I was a judge I would have given it the big blue three tailed ribbon but I guess it's good that I'm not a judge because favoritism (in a case like that) really wouldn't be fair. I will give the folks in charge credit. The car wasn't banned because of the flag. It sure is nice to see that there's still folks out there who believe in the Constitution.
  2. I don't watch too much TV but my wife and I are definitely into Once Upon a Time. My favorite thing to do is guess where they're going to go with the plot next. Part of what makes this show so good is it's unpredictibility. There's been so many times when I've made wrong predictions about what's going to happen. That makes it challenging and that's one thing I like about it. I think my favorite character is Pinnochio.
  3. I saw Del MCoury play near Pittsburgh several years ago and I loved it. Any time I hear bluegrass music I always ask myself why I don't listen to it more often but I'm not really a big music fan except for country music from the 70s and early 80s, like Waylon, Hank Jr, Loretta Lynn and my favorite, Charlie Daniels. I bet when I get older and retire I'll start listening to bluegrass.
  4. The Chicago Bears? Aren't they a hockey team? I thought the NHL was going on strike this year. Go Steelers!
  5. LOL This cracked me up. I just might become a JG fan if he became a redneck. Thanks for the condolences. The funny thing is that his name was Junior (not related to Dale) and he looked just like Jesse Duke. Good luck to JG in the chase (and better luck to Junior) Thanks again for your latest update.
  6. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  7. Hoss, Lizzy and BL got them right. Which lawman lives in Mrs. Oxford's Boarding House? A) Rosco Enos C) Cletus D) Grady Byrd
  8. Great job as always Hoss. I just love that car except I'm not a fan of the flames. I'd paint black over them if I owned it. (but I do appreciate your accurate depiction from the show)
  9. Welcome to Hazzard County Casio. Good luck on that General Lee. Keep us posted. We look forward to more of your posts.
  10. I am constantly amazed at your ability to research and post this stuff Hoss!
  11. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  12. Happy Birthday today Luke (Sept 9). We're going to meet at the Boar's Nest this evening to celebrate. Make sure you tell Bo that you get to drive the General Lee since it's your birthday. As you know, he has a tendency to hogg the steering wheel.
  13. Brian will probably have a better answer to this than anyone but I don't think anybody really knows. We're a little worried that it's because of the Confederate Flag controversy but that's just speculation and nothing more so don't take it too seriousely. CMT's airings of the Dukes have been unpredictable and inconsistent through the years so who knows what they're thinking. We'll just have to continue to play the waiting game.
  14. Thanks for the detailed update Garrett, including the spin out incident with Ragen. Congratulations on your man Jeff pulling through. Since David Ragen is out I guess I'll be pulling for Dale Jr only because he's the biggest redneck in the bunch. (unless you can convince me that one of the other contenders is a bigger redneck) If Dale doesn't win I'll be pulling for JG just 'cause I like you so much. As far as your Brad Daugherty comments goes, isn't he the former center for the Cleveland Cavs? (if I have him mixed up with someone else I'm going to be real embarressed) You have to consider that Cleveland is the hardest luck city in America when it comes to sports. You have to expect that the folks from there would be negative. By the way, I knew a guy who was Brad Daugherty's auto mechanic when he was playing in Cleveland. I use the word "knew" because he died about 5 years ago.
  15. Make sure you check your Private Messages Garrett.
  16. *shakes head and smiles* What in the world will you think of next?!?!?
  17. Thanks for the warning. I live in western Pennsylvania so I should be safe when you drive up to western Ohio. Ohio is a pretty wide state so I'm not too nervous about you being in this part of the country. Still, I'm going to be a little extra cautious in November since you're only going to be about 300 miles away. I'm more worried about my youngest nephew who turns 16 later this year and lives in the same county I do. LOL
  18. Congratulatiions JPB! You sure have been a welcome addition to the HazzardNet. .....and belated happy birthday!
  19. wrestle (LOL "Hey Bo, ya wanna wrastle?"....Cousin Alice)
  20. Welcome to Hazzard County Sheppard! I love to hear posts from someone who loves the show as much as you do. I also love it when I hear someone raising their kid right. I wholeheartedly agree with your decision to not allow Luke to watch the movie. By the way, I have a 3 year old grandson (also named Luke) and he loves the Dukes cartoon series! We look forward to hearing more from you.
