I used to hear that saying all the time Hobie but not anymore. In fact, April Fool's Day is not a big deal anymore it seems, even with kids. When I was a kid it was practically a national holiday.....or at least a local holiday since it was big around here at least. I can't speak for other places.

Wednesday is a big day for Lulu fans. Our beloved Peggy Rae was born on March 31, 1921 so it marks her 100th birthday. We miss you and love you Lulu. You were beautiful on Earth and you are beautiful in Heaven.

I'm not a big soda pop drinker but I did try it and liked it. They are constantly trying to mix things and sometimes have success but never great success. The only exception would be cherry cola.

family reunions

I love dirt tracks. I go to our local one a lot on Friday nights. We also have a local dirt bike track that is open some Saturdays.

I don't think I'm going to get the shot. I had covid in July so until I hear of lots of people getting it twice I'm going to assume I'm immune. If lthere is a rash of reinfections I'll take the needle but getting it twice hasn't been a problem yet.

I'm a High Octane guy myself.

Just got back from Virginia visiting our daughter and grandsons. She surprised me with an early birthday present....Jon Holland's book Moonrunner's Tale....from grit to gold: How the Dukes was born. I always loved the Georgia episodes and now I will get to learn a lot about how things unfolded before the show even began. This is going to be fun.
