We watched the movie Iron Lady today. Wow! Like her or not Margaret Thatcher was one tough cookie. I was surprised that there wasn't one mention of any member of the royal family. I get that they are two totally different things but it still surprised me.

Skipper is amazing. You can post a picture of any scene and he'll tell you what episode it is from. I think he can do the same with Gilligan's Island and Andy Griffith. A walking talking computer.

Aww...springtime. it's getting greener around here. Still need another week or two before the leaves on the trees get full size. Rainy all day today. Precipitation amounts have been low lately so rain is good.

Duck Dynasty

When I was a kid my grandfather had a truck like this. It was orange....but with no 01 on the sides.

I just saw her on an episide of Running Wild with Bear Grylss.

I knew what you meant. I was just being goofy. I was on the way to a high school baseball game this afternoon, listening to the classic country radio station and they played the Dukes theme song. I smiled at every note. And after it was over I turned the radio off to keep the song in my head. Every once in awhile you have a moment where the Dukes of Hazzard feels brand new again. I love those moments.

How can it be possible to vote straight Republican if the person is gay? Seriously though, There are a lot of people who vote for someone just because the candidate is black, female or gay. Those are the people who always complain that discrimination is wrong yet have no idea that they are guilty of it themselves.

The earlier the episide was made the better....in general that is. There are exceptions, Happy Birthday General Lee was one of my favorites. I am not a fan of anything after 1985.

My wife had rotator cuff surgery yesterday. Between that and our new puppy I have come out of retirement and taken on a new job as a caretaker. I love this job! I slept good last night. I think I was just nervous about her surgery. She's not out of the woods yet. Infection and blood clots are always a concern. This was the first surgery she's ever had.
