Here are some drawings I did of the General Lee

When I first met Rick, it was in the 90's, so the WWW was in its infancy. When I told him about HazzardNet's predecessor (the Hazzard County Sheriff's Department on Prodigy), he was excited there was a community of fans online still discussing and enjoying the show. He told me he'd be right back and when he returned, he handed me an enormous folder of 8x10s, several of them signed. That was very generous of him. I still have them packed away from the move, but when I find them (someday), I will scan them in and put them on the site. When I mentioned where I worked at the time, we had a connection there and he told me some amazing stories. We just had an awesome conversation. He was very personable and gracious. At the Dukesfest in '01, I got to do an impromptu square dance with him and Jimmie. Good times. I would've liked to have gotten to know him better, but my health and work situations over the years didn't permit me to get to events as much as I'd have liked.

Happy Halloween guys!! unfortunately, I come from a family who don't celebrate things much outside Christmas so I'm not doing anything, but my mom bought me some candy last week (which is already almost gone) and I have a cool halloween outfit on Red Dead Redemption Online! Might brave up and watch some horror movies tonight...not sure

Wow. You guys are awesome. I feel like a chooch. I made a post 5 years ago and y’all responded and I ghosted you. So, my wife planned a surprise trip to Covington, GA with the fam. Got To visit the jump sites from the first 5 episodes, meet some other cool Dukes fans AND John Schneider happened to be in town after a convention in Atlanta. Talk about an amazing day! Then, hit Cooters Garage in Pigeon Forge, TN a couple days later. Anyway, I’m totally geeking out on all things Dukes again and looking forward to checking out the forums here! I still love your artwork recreations, Hoss!

Hello! I figured since I might be drawing fanart more often that it would be a better idea to have one thread/topic than to post it all on it's own every time, and I have a really good piece to start it with. It's a drawing I did of Bo with a horse. The song "My Rifle, My Pony and Me" kept coming up on Spotify and I got really inspired for some reason, so I drew the song. (except the rifle, I didn't want to render that much metal AND wood) My friend is a horse girl and she said that Bo would have a Chestnut Quarter Horse Mare named Miss Joanne. It's my biggest project ever, with the multiple subjects and more body than just the head. I had a lot of fun with it, adding a bunch of little details that I'm sure most of them won't be found partially due to the bad quality I had to upload it in so it could fit, but I also think the bigger ones won't be understood. I'm not saying you guys are dumb, I'm saying that I probably didn't make it understandable as a reference and made it look more like just a design choice or a coincidence. Also, apologies for not posting/commenting anything, I haven't known what to say. The only dukes thing I've done/seen/thought of besides this drawing, is I made a wallpaper and lockscreen for a friend. I swear I haven't forgotten about this forum, and I'm still a fan!

I've been here 18 years and have 15,500 posts and I still have no clue what I'm doing. The HazzardNet is a lot like Hazzard....total chaos. If it wasn't it would be boring. We are happy to have you Davy and hope you stay a long time. Do you have a favorite character?

True. I don't trust Meadowmufn. She's just too good of friends with the Sheriff. Speaking of which, I wonder if Rosco is going to let her drive his car in the Moonshine 400. If she does, ignore the siren. She will probably use it to trick us into slowing down.

My parents were married 67 years, just a few months shy of 68 years when dad passed. They got married at 19 (mom) and 21 (dad). I've been married almost 23 years. My oldest sister celebrates anniversary #32 this year and my other sister will celebrate #26 later this year. So, my advice would be to find someone who's been married a long time and get advice from them! Because whatever my mom and dad were doing right, it seemed to rub off on us kids. My mom always told me that the key to a long marriage was.... 2 tv sets. And for the record, all of us kids have more than 1 tv set.

Black Friday makes even less sense over here because we don't have Thanksgiving. I think the madness of a few years ago has gone now. The electrical shops had a few reduced items which I'm sure they bought in specially, and several clothes shops had 20% off certain lines, but no massive bargains or fights.

Catherine is in the hospital due to an embolism, likely a complication from recent surgery. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. John Schneider gave an update saying it sounds like she's doing well.

I don't do many long journeys, but luckily I don't recall seeing anyone doing that on my recent trip to Galway, although I'm sure it happens regularly over here. Maybe I'm imagining it, but people here seem to drive much more hesitantly lately. I thought it could be the reduced driving during the Covid lockdowns, but that was a while ago now. Sometimes I approach a junction thinking I'll easily get out because there's a huge gap, but the car in front stops dead and waits for nothing. Then there are the drivers who drive at well under the speed limit completely oblivious to the long queue behind them. That's my two cents.

I hate to be the one to burst your bubble but I could have passed you anytime I wanted. I just liked staying beside Jesse. He sets my heart on fast idle."

Jesse erupted " What in tarnation did ya do that fer Emmer?" Miz Tisdale smiled "Now don't you remember Jesse? You was so confident you'd finish ahead of me that you promised to take me on a date to the Hazzard Pond if I beat you." * Sounds just like them! I'm out of emojies...so....

That is incredibly sad. Just breaks my heart for all those poor animals.

I forgot to mention 'On the Rocks'. Rick played one of the inmates in this prison-set sitcom in the mid-70s. It was based on the British sitcom 'Porridge', which coincidentally I'm watching right now. I've only ever seen a couple of clips of 'On the Rocks' - maybe it'll make it online one day. Hello, late reply and actually my first reply. I’m relatively new to this site but I’ve been a Dukes Fan for as long as I can remember! I am from Eastern Ontario, doesn’t look like there are many of us around here. I just made my first Trip in April to Cooters in Luray, Virginia. Sadly I haven’t meet any of the Cast Members the timing just didn’t work out, but I did get a hat signed by Ben Jones!

I dont remember exactly but the Generals 8th birthday seems correct.

Let's all remember, it's the MoonShine 400 ( not like Daytona 500, Charlotte 500 etc. ) because we who started the race, can't stay sober long enough to make 500 laps! It's ok though. We have a lot of fun racing people we know and it's mainly a Hazzard County thing, so we don't have to worry about outsiders crashing the party!! I hope everyone has had a great day. All right. Garrett is in. It wouldn't be a Moonshine 400 without Garrett. If we don't get confirmation from MM we are just putting her in Rosco's patrol car and we'll put Hoss in an orange F1 car.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I have a splash of Irish from my mom's side. I am always wearing green because I have green eyes (my overwhelmingly Scottish heritage).

Forgive me y'all, but I just found this site. I've been watching The Dukes of Hazzard since it first aired (I was 7), and have been an absolute fan ever since! I grew up in a Mopar family and have had my share of of muscle cars. I drive/own only Mopar, and the 1969 Charger has always been my favorite, I've had a couple of them. Anyway, most people on the show who come to Hazzard county, are just passing through, but I plan on staying for a while. Looking to rub shoulders with some like-minded people on here. I hope I can give at least as much as I get on this site. Thanks in advance for puttin' up with me! Keep it between the ditches y'all!

Diamond In the M*A*S*H episode 'Rainbow Bridge', Hawkeye and Trapper are off to Tokyo and get a shopping list that includes a training bra (for Klinger). Father Mulcahy says, "Understandably, there's some gaps in my education. What exactly is a training bra?" Hawkeye replies, "Just like an ordinary one, only it has two little wheels in back." 😀

I've just found that episode online and watched it. Compared to shows that came only a couple of years later, it looks so dated. I knew I recognized the bad guy Brother Love (Eddie Albert) from somewhere, and looking through his filmography, I realized it was the feature length pilot of 'The Fall Guy'. He played Big John Cramer, a corrupt Arizona sheriff who knocks a boy off his bike in Hollywood and then jumps bail when he's told that the boy has died. The episode also had a couple of familiar faces from Dukes. Kathrine Baumann, one of the car strippers from 'Arrest Jesse Duke', had a bit part as a woman who Colt and Howie question briefly, and Dennis Fimple, the preacher from 'Daisy's Shotgun Wedding', played the lead deputy.

This is my first post and my introduction. I read the 'warning' that mentioned TMI (too much information), and I do tend to go off in a tangent pretty easily so if you ever see me yapping, make sure to tell me and I'll try to tone it back! Anyways, my name is Cheyenne, you can call me Annie if you'd like, I'm 16 and got into DoH earlier this year, I want to say in July? I'm from Arizona but now live in North Carolina USA. I'm homeschooled so I'll probably be online pretty often. I want to learn guitar, I draw, (I'll be sharing often in the fanart topic) and I really like The Beatles/The Monkees.
