Lesson learned: Don't ever EVER buy a vehicle from family!!! Because they will never let you forget the deal they gave you. If it was my decision I would put a for sale sign in it tomorrow but it's the wife's car so it's up to her.

  2. Sometimes it’s shocking or strange seeing an actor that’s so engrained in our minds as one type of character, play a totally different one. But, to me that’s what makes them more interesting & proves versatility with their craft. As much as we love certain “characters”...we have to remember that the actors are not usually like them in real life. That’s why they call it “acting”. However, I would think that an actor would bring a certain amount of him or herself to a character the longer they play it.

  3. McCutchen won't make them any better. They'll still be worse than your Cubs but he will sell tickets and merchandise. They're paying him 5 million for one year so it should pull a profit for them.

  4. I probably wouldn't have liked that. I'm sure Denver Pyle has played a bad guy or two but I wouldn't want to see that either.

  6. He definitely did in this...or some bad beer at the Boar’s Nest! It was fun seeing him play a totally different kind of character.

  8. That's like my cousin...about 5 in the head but 56 with a moustache. in the body. He's got a heart of gold. If everyone was just like him ( ignoring the fact that society couldn't function) everybody would want to live forever! Leave your doors unlocked. No problem. Don't worry about your wife or kids....no problem. He is tender and innocent and good as gold!

Off the subject....I am so mad right now. My wife worked a double shift today. Her workplace has been having trouble finding employees the past 2 years so has been offering more and more money to attract people. They are now offering to pay their newly hired secretaries the same amount per hour that she is making.....AND SHE HAS BEEN THERE 44 YEARS! I guess this is not the fault of management. They need people and this is the only way to get them. The government is just paying more money for people to stay home than work. Oh well, we aren't supposed to get political here. We can only do that if defending the Dukes so I won't go any further. It's infuriating. I can't wait for her to retire....hopefully in the fall.
