I guess there is always good and bad in life Spike. I had fun today. Went on a long Ninja ride with another Ninja owner and went to a retirement party after that. That reminds me. I wonder how Skipper's brother is doing after his Ninja crash. Last I knew he was making a lot of progress healing.

Was one of those up and down weeks. Started out looking forward to my birthday Wednesday then took a quick turn. Out of the blue this guy calls about buying my car but only offered me $100. I can understand the low offer thanks to my dad's ignorance in parking the car on the dirt behind the garage and it's sunk up to the door sills so he has to dig it out a bit. That of course brought up bad memories/feelings so I was in a sour mood on my birthday. Ended up having a good birthday though. Ended the week on a good note finding out I got another pay raise . Was looking forward to 3 days of relaxing since we haven't had any measurable rain since last Monday so wasn't going to mow any lawns this week but the one lady was adamant her half dead grass and weeds get mowed today so didn't get to any chores at home today. Have a good weekend guys, oh and SRX racing is on Saturday nights at 8pm on CBS stations through the end of July.

This is a forum, not Facebook. You've spent the last two weeks moaning about Facebook, yet you seem surprised that information received through it is wrong. I'd put Facebook right near the bottom of the pile when it comes to reliable online sources. That's why I regard HazzardNet so highly - there's room for debate and corrections, but the latter are rarely needed because members take time to research their posts if they're posting something factual (and credit sources). I'd rather you posted one accurate, funny quote a week than three dodgy ones every day. The point of favorite quotes is that they're memorable lines that stand out for some reason or other. They're not about cutting and pasting from elsewhere internet. You messaged me recently about my artwork appearing on Facebook (something that I have had to accept happens), but you're basically doing the same thing by reposting here. The reference sections of HazzardNet (of which this thread is a part) are about quality, not quantity. Also, it took you three posts (above) just to reply to one of mine, wasting space with nonsense. Get your ideas together and check your sources before posting. I'm not expecting every quote to be word perfect, but it shouldn't be my job to correct your posts just because you were too lazy to verify them. That's not part of a moderator's duties, but I'm trying to maintain the high standards that have kept HazzardNet online for so long.

Well, personally I like Fridays and Saturdays because I don't have to get up early for work the next morning and thus can stay up late. However it might not attract crowds in the chat room as I assume (and hope) the folks here have a better social life than me and go out on weekends. So in the end, I'm ok with keeping it on Sundays or whatever day people are on. I'll just try to be a good girl and not stay too late. Much easier said than done. LOL

Hi Everyone, So, was there a chat on Sunday? Sorry I couldn't make it, I wasn't feeling 100%, and am still recovering. If you did chat on Sunday, how was it, and who made it? Is there going to be a chat this coming Sunday? Lori, were you able to snooker your way into not having to clean and join in on chatting? Hopefully you were able to chat. Talk to all of you soon! Laura Duke
