  1. Having never seen Gilligan's Island, I didn't realize that Weird Al borrowed the following lines from the theme tune for his song Amish Paradise. There's no phone, no lights, no motorcar Not a single luxury Like Robinson Crusoe It's as primitive as can be

  3. Convicts At Large is my fav.! ( " Maude, Al, if those hamburgers are burned, I won't be responsible." He called Barney Al through the whole thing....they probably had to de-program him to call him Barney again...LOL!!

You mean there's folks out there in the world who like other TV show beside The Dukes of Hazzard? *panics....then runs to lock all windows and doors. Closes curtains and shakes in fear, realizing the world is a scary place. Puts a Dukes DVD in and instantly feels better*

  7. There are some recent posts about people taking off work to go to Nascar races so I thought of my friend when I saw this post. I know a guy who is actually taking off work to see the opening of Spiderman today. As for me, I'll wait for it to come out on DVD. Although I have to admit I like the way he jumps over things. Folks here in Hazzard County don't need a webslinger though. That reminds me of when Daisy drove Enos to the airport to go to LA.... Daisy, "Ever flown before Enos?" Enos, "No, just a car."

I don't know. He currently has a minority stake in the team. There's talk of Rick Hendrick semi-retiring and Jeff Gordon could kind of fill that role.

  10. K, here's a production blooper. The VERY FIRST TIME we see Daisy's "new" car, the '71 Satellite, is Season 1 Episode 11, "Money to Burn." It's a dramatic entrance with it coming in right under the camera before looping around to park. I discovered while researching the black stripe that the left stripe must have been MUCH wider at the top than the right side. You can see how it goes across the roof, and how not only is it not perfectly parallel, but that it's DRAMATICALLY wider on the left than on the right. I'm guessing maybe the paint crews were under a really tight deadline to throw on the same basic paint scheme of the earlier 74 Roadrunner onto the 71 Satellite?
