  1. Hobie Hartkins

    Peggy Rea

Hey, I know this is spur of the moment but I just saw this. Peggy Rea is on an episode ( I never knew this!) of All In The Family - GetTV, ( 188 on my cable system) and it's on at 7:30.

  3. Definitely too much fun to call it work. I am considering redoing season one.....maybe after the holidays. I guess I can still do that, right Hoss? I'd just hit edit and erase everything and then restart from a blank page? Have we always been able to edit old posts? For some reason I thought we couldn't edit a post after it had reached a certain age.

    The Boars Nest

Thanks for the welcome. Yes a wide view of the Boars Nest is what I'm after. I've found a few but they don't show the whole of it.

  6. Kinda sad Roger, I enjoyed reading these and now it's over. Like I said in a previous post you and HossC ought to get together and right a book.

  7. Thanks, Skipper. It's Roger who's put in the work on this thread. I wonder if John had any other story ideas that never got made. Maybe they got included in his later works such as "Collier & Co."

  9. 'Opening Night at the Boar's Nest' was written and directed by John Schneider - his first credit in each category for the show and his career. Thanks for writing these reviews, Roger. It's been a while since I've seen some of the later episodes, so these have acted as good reminders. It's also great to get a different viewpoint and add some background.

  13. This will be the newest addition to the Hazzard Garage fleet! Anyone who follows HossC's research will know that this particular configuration isn't actually a wrecker that appeared during the series, but to the casual viewer (or even most hard-core fans), you would never know it. It combines elements of several wreckers seen in the series, but isn't a match for any one vehicle. It is, however, a match to the wrecker that you will find if you visit the Cooter's Place in Nashville. That particular wrecker also appears on all the merchandise sold at the Cooter's Place museums and website. So I figured since my garage model will be at the Gatlinburg Cooter's for this month's Hazzard Run, I should have their tow truck parked out front. I combined parts from two different model kits, but had to scratch build most of the rear towing rig to match the pics I took of the real thing in Nashville this past January (I can't believe I thought ahead to take that many pics!). 22. I think I'm going to buy it. I guess I'll have to sell the farm though. You can live in a car but you can't drive a barn. Where's that title? I'm ready to sign.

  28. Just for grins and giggles I checked a loan calculator to see just how much the monthly payments would be at $500,000 (He wants more as the reserve has not been met). It came to almost $9,000 a month for a five year auto loan! Yikes! I wish I made that type of money!
