    Super Bowl

All I know about the Super Bowl is that locals will probably be protesting against a plan for Formula One to race on a track around the stadium from next year onwards. So I'll kepe my mouth shut further.

  2. Good shout Hobie! So we have: Rosco in ? Cooter in 'Cooter's Girl' (Pretty sure he jumped it to get to an airfield in a later episode too?) Neil Bishop illegally in 'The Big Heist' Andy Slocum illegally in 'Big Brothers, Duke' Ernie and Phil illegally in 'The Ghost of General Lee' First one that came to my mind was Tom Colt illegally in 'Double Sting'

  4. Welcome to HNet, GigGuy. In all seven seasons, 'Mary Kaye's Baby' (S01E03) is the only episode in which the General doesn't appear. I guess the people making the show had no idea by the third episode that the General would become so iconic, and end up being at least as famous as the stars of the show. Many shows in the '70s and '80s were based around a vehicle, e.g. KITT in 'Knight Rider', the Coyote X in 'Hardcastle and McCormick' etc., but early episodes of Dukes weren't like that. The show's formula wasn't really established until filming was moved to California for episode 6, and maybe even as late as the start of season 2.

  5. What about that time when Bo and Luke were skinny dipping and those two stole the General. That one crook said, " Is this car double strong or what?"

  6. I don't agree Hobie. Anything that reminds me of the Dukes is worth millions. How's the shine business going? Can I borrow 65 grand?

  7. Rick mainly filled in while Sonny was making Dukes spin-off 'Enos', so although they both appeared in many episodes, not many overlap. Here's my quick list: 'Money to Burn' 'The Rustlers' 'Enos Strate to the Top' 'Uncle Boss' 'The New Dukes' 'Dukes Strike it Rich' 'Lawman of the Year' 'Coy Meets Girl' 'Big Daddy' And both the TV movies: 'The Dukes of Hazzard: Reunion!' 'The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood' Sonny is in the credits of 'The Meeting' and 'Road Pirates', but does not appear in the episodes. Rick's first couple of appearances were as 'Cousin Cletus' rather than as a deputy.

  8. Rob, Thank you for sharing your post. What an incredible experience and I know I speak for all of us here on the forum that we wish we could have been grips there with you helping out just to see these sights! Having grown up here in Valencia and my sister went to Calarts too, I am stoked to hear these first hand accounts about such monumental experiences!! I would love to be involved in a documentary and have been thinking about the idea too for a while... I’m on board to get something going! -Dave

Sorry guys. I've been very sick. My Hashimoto's has been flaring (mostly due to job stress) and I've been sleeping about 16 hours a day. Very little energy for anything other than working. I appreciate all of you keeping this place going. I'm in the process of looking for another job because I can't keep going on like this.
