  1. As the series progressed, a lot of the vehicles (and clothing) became standardized to make continuity easier. That still didn't stop AMC Matadors occasionally appearing in chase sequences in later seasons. I'm guessing that rather than swapping the interiors, they probably swapped the front grille/lights from '77/'78 cars onto '75/'76 cars so that they looked the same from the outside. Of course, the makers probably had no idea that we'd still be watching the show 40 years later and spotting these little inconsistencies!

  2. I loved those 5 episodes that were filmed in Georgia. Someday I'm going to visit those places. I'm sure not much looks the same but that won't matter. There are still a few things that do.

Thanks for clarifying. Crazy, though...I can’t believe in all the times I’ve seen this episode, as it’s one of my favorites, I’ve never noticed this before! But, sometimes these little “quirks” make the episode more enjoyable for me...love this episode and the show is one of the best in TV history!!

That just might work for me. I won't know until later this week. It depends on the possibility of having to work overtime.

  6. Working on the Dixie Jeep as my next model creation. Can't figure out the floor....thought it would be white (body metal/painted) with black rubber mats in front of the front seats....but now folks on a non-Dukes auto modelmaking board are suggesting the 79 Jeep CJ7 had brown (only brown) carpeting as standard, and that some of the photos I posted suggest it. Anyone have any idea? Any better views than what I have? If carpeted, would the rear have been covered too, including the tops of the rear wheel wells?

Ace Parker....Swamp Molly and Cousin Alice....Hershel Ferguson....Ernie Ledbetter....Jim Bronke....Pettigrew farm....Mackenzie farm....Dewey Stovall...Puckett farm.....Rhuebottom's house.(also own store)...Jason Higgins....Doc Henry Petticord....Widow Campbell....Burl Tolliver (daughter Sherry)....Widow Baxley.....Mrs Oxford (owns boarding house)....Jill Dodson.....Ms. Mabel.....Roxanne Huntley....Neil Bishop....Homer Willis (dentist)....
