Since our Fan of the Month became a pretty rousing success, once we got it going on a more regular basis (you know, like monthly) we figured we'd take a chance on selecting a Fan of the Year for 2009. Trying to pick a FAN OF THE YEAR is like asking Uncle Jesse to pick his favorite ear of corn out of the 40 acres they plant. Every ear of corn the Dukes grow is a work of art so it's a nearly impossible task. Never let it be said that the HazzardNet staff shies away from the impossible. She has been here in town for 3 and a half years and has been a fan of the show for over two decades. You can travel on just about any street here on the HN and you'll discover some sign that B.L. has already been there. It's not possible to be a bigger fan of the Dukes of Hazzard than BoJamesDuke and that's why she is being picked as February's fan of the month. A few of us could put up a legitimate argument that we are "as big of a Dukes fan" as Bo but none of us could say we're a bigger fan. Considering how much Bo loves the Dukes, it's simply not possible. Bo just turned 21 on January 28th and resides across the Hazzard Pond over there in England. Congrats go to Carlos-Argentino, our Fan of the Month for August 2012! Carlos-Argentino joined us in December of 2010, and if you don't already know, he hails from Argentina! The language barrier has never stopped him from participating in the Forums. He is friendly, outgoing, and always quick to welcome new members to HazzardNet! Carlos-Argentino is fine example of a good Hazzard County neighbor and HazzardNet member. HazzardNet's Fan of the Month for August 2011 is CDoherty95! Congrats! There were several good contestants for this month. CDoherty95 was selected due to his perseverance in re-building another "General Lee" bicycle after his original creation was stolen. This shows great dedication to his love of "The Dukes of Hazzard" as well as strong personal character in not giving up. CDoherty95 is also an active participant in our Forums and has generated good discussions. We're pleased to recognize him as the Fan of the Month for his contributions to the Dukes of Hazzard fandom. Because of her pure love and devotion to the greatest television show in history, we are awarding her HazzardNet's fan of the month for December. It's pretty impressive that someone can receive this honor after only being a member of the HazzardNet for 15 months but daisyxenos is an impressive fan. April 1st is Sadie Hogg Day in Hazzard County so things are always a little confusing around Hazzard on the first day of this month. One thing we're not confused about is how much we love DaneyDuke and that's why she has been selected as HazzardNet's Fan of the Month for April 2010. Another month over, another fan of the month goes into the history book. Today doesn't just start a new month. It starts a new year. It also starts a new decade. It's October and the trick or treaters will be knocking on your door before you know it. Here at the HazzardNet, we've been blessed since mid July with a guy who has treated us with over 460 posts that have delighted us all.....and that's why HossC has been selected as October's fan of the month. Yes, the October 2011 Fan o' the Month is i1976!! i1976 is a reknown Enos and Daisy fan who joined HazzardNet back in February of 2007! With over 600 posts to our Forums, and with contributions of artwork to our Image Gallery and stories to our Fanfiction sections, i1976 is a creative Dukes of Hazzard fan who certainly deserves recognition! i1976 has always been friendly and encouraging to other members of HazzardNet and sets a great example for Dukes fans everywhere. I have to pat myself on the back for doing such a good job of keeping February's Fan of the Month recipient secret. I bet none of you saw this coming. Mark B has been with the best website on the internet since 2009 and was the Fan of the Month recipient in August of 2015. There are some people who claim to be big fans of The Dukes of Hazzard but Mark is not the bragging type. He lets his talents as an artist do all the talking for him. But his work doesn't just talk. March 1st is Catherine Bach's birthday. That's a big deal around the HazzardNet. While it might be Daisy Duke's day, it's pendragon1980's month because she has been selected as HazzardNet's "Fan of the Month". Pendragon has been a fan of the Dukes of Hazzard since childhood and her love of the best show on television comes through with her writings here at the best website on the internet. It's been awhile since the HazzardNet has had a Fan of the Month who doesn't post on a regular basis but Ray Kohn of Northeast Ohio Dukes sure deserves the honor and that's exactly what he's getting for the month of September.
