On Next Monday Morning I am leaving with my family and we are going on a Road Trip to Richmond,Virginia and we will be gone until thurday or Friday as well. I am really looking forward to this trip and the Billy Currington song "People Are Crazy" well I really like found last week or this week that Tom T. Hall wrote the song as well.

I was watching Fox News this morning and Charlie Daniels came on. Shortly after he left Phil Robertson showed up in the same studio. I couldn't believe it. Two of my three heroes together. I wonder if they got their picture taken together backstage. If only Uncle Jesse would have walked in.

Don't y'all just hate it when your in the middle of downloading something very important off of the internet or uploading the latest chapter in your Dukes Fan Fic and then suddenly, *dramatic music* your internet cuts out!! Making you want to scream, cry and possibly throw your computer out of the nearest window. Also something that makes the super slow speed internet even more lovable is when it cuts out on you when your on MSN or on Chat, in the middle of a very intense conversation about your latest failed FanFic upload, caused by your crappy dial-up internet! Well, two months ago, I bought a three month old puppy that after a few days of great thought and effort, I named Rosco. (Bet you can't guess who I named him after? )He is half doodle and half corgi, ****zu, and Bichon. He is very energetic and ornery...and cute. He is now five months old. He has joined my household with my other dog that is now almost six and a half years old and is named Lilly (I bought her when she was six months old and she had already came named as Lilly). I've never seen the show "The Biggest Loser" but since I've always been interested in human nature, I can understand the appeal to the people who participate in it. So I was on the H-net homepage today waiting for my uber-slow internet to load the nav bar to get to the forums, and I got distracted and left the computer. When I got back, all the posts on the home page were up, including the April Fools Day joke about how H-net was sold. And I believed it. I thought that the part about Brian working at MAD was kinda far-fetched, but I still believed it. lol. I'm such an idiot! haha

Every time I see one of those commercials from those on-line dating services I think of Rosco's Mama's line from "Mrs Rosco P. Coltrane". I may not have it exactly right but it went something like "You got a girl out of a computer?" LOL If I ran one of those companies I'd pay Warner Brothers to use that clip in a commercial. The Dukes were way ahead of their time. Boss ran a solar powered still. Jesse invented ethanol. Rosco got a girl from a computer. I feel sorry for the city folks who think hicks aren't that smart.

Have you guys ever seen the cast in other shows? I mean besides Smokey and the Bandit....I just bought a video Catherine Bach did back in '78 just before DOH. I haven't seen it yet but will let you know.

Just curious...does anybody know of anyone who has given up the internet (non-work related) for Lent? I'm wondering, because our volumes are down a little bit over the past week, here at the flagship site and also the FB page. Looks like some other Dukes pages have tapered off too. And it's not due to a lack of Dukes news, with all the cast appearances going on and such. What do ya'll think?

Hey y'all, I thought it would be ok to post this here since many of you are like a second family to me. My beloved aunt Dixie (honest that's her name) passed away this afternoon after a long battle with brain cancer. It's been a very hard couple of weeks for my family. On Early Friday Morning we left the house about 6am, and we began our little road trip to Cave City, Kentucky we had fun. About 4pm Kentucky time we arrived at the Knights Inn there and there was a Chevron, Bp and a Marathon and lots of other places of lodging as well and many other gas stations. On Saturday we went to The National Corvette Musuem and it was wonderful seeing all those Vette's and learning about the history of this beautiful car as well. I bought a dvd called "National Corvette Caravan" well anyways it was the one from 2003. It's about 49 minutes longs and worth every penny I paid for it as well.
