I have recently had a very unfortunate event happen to me. I was a victim of crime. This event has happened to me before and I realize that I need to be more careful, maybe it's a warning from the powers that be that I need to be more careful and less trusting of the world. However... with that being said, I currently work in a line of work that I have to deal with budding criminal minds every day. I have to help them complete their court ordered obligations so they can begin the rehabilitation processes. Now, after being a victim today of crime... There have been several broken records across the country due to a heat wave, not to mention severe weather has accompanied it, with more due to occur tonight... Hey y'all I'm watching a show on tv at the moment that's about what's going to happen on December 21st 2012. Some of it is pretty believable but most of it seems dramatized. Personally I don't think the worlds going to end I'm December but I'm just curious to see what you guys think. It's always interesting to see people's opinions on topics like this.

I just love country or old rock and roll music, but as for country, there are a few on my list, as well as my favorite cover songs. Rodney Atkins - Take A Back road Alan Jackson - Remember When Willie Nelson - On The Road Again Hank Williams Jr. - Keep The Change But there are several songs that I can name of Rodney's that I just love to death!! <3 Then again, I'ma more than just a fan and hes more than just a famous person of whom I like. The word is getting around that TNN will hit the air again this summer. For those of y'all who are too young to remember it, TNN used to carry the Dukes before CMT picked it up. And while CMT has been good to the Dukes - most notably sponsoring DukesFest in 2005 - their programming has been moving into more reality tv and airing of 20-year old movies. For the past couple years, CMT has had the Dukes of Hazzard on the backburner, parking it in 1 and 2 am Eastern time slots, right before the sleezy infomercials. I'm back now. I completely missed this place. My life changed a lot while I've been gone, and I've gone through a lot of changes myself. I'm almost at the end of my junior year in high school and I'm 16 now! I remember I signed up here at like 13! Seems so long ago. I even have already been to my Junior Prom, as well as getting my barrel racing career going again. Yesterday, USA Today did a story about the skyrocketing popularity of reality shows based on rednecks. Some of the shows they mentioned were "Swamp People", "Hillbilly Handfishin'" and "Bayou Billionaires". They mentioned others but you get the idea. I'm thrilled with these new shows. I've seen some of them and I'm excited that they are so popular now. There's always going to be a few people who watch these shows to make fun of the rednecks but I'll agree with the author of the story (Carol Memmott) that the vast majority of viewers like these shows because the people on them are so real, unique and authentic. Just curious...does anybody know of anyone who has given up the internet (non-work related) for Lent? I'm wondering, because our volumes are down a little bit over the past week, here at the flagship site and also the FB page. Looks like some other Dukes pages have tapered off too. This lawmaker in Indiana says that we support planed parenthood and encourage sex. This is just stupid. None of it is true. It just makes everyone think we are bad and won't have anything to do with us. I now know the dates for the Expedite trucking show at the Roberts Center outside of Wilmington, Ohio. Its the 27 and 28 of July. It's fun. So many old trucks and you might find something that ya never knew about or seen. I know that I'm goin.
