August 9, 201214 yr Well the summer has hit hard on Northwest Ohio. It was a sad year for my uncle to start farming. His crops haven't done so well, lost some of his soybeans but still has crops. I feel sorry for him. Some farmers lost everything. Corn wasn't tall either.And when we were drivin' up there, we saw quite a bit of brown grass. It was really sad to see.
August 9, 201214 yr The grass had been pretty brown here too. We didnt get rain for the longest time. But we have had a few storms that has brought much needed rain.
August 9, 201214 yr We had a good rain up there Saturday. Got like 1 1/2-2 maybe, I can't remember. But we think it helped my uncle's soybeans.
