Introduce Yourself

Hows it hanging ya'll, Dukes fan from the Windy City, just saying hi for now. Came here to possibly make a few friends, find some collectables, get some more info I may not know about the show, share some ideas and eventually some of my stories I'm working on. Just want to add I have loved this show since I can first recall. Still see it as the best show that was on TV for the mere fact its not smut like shows today.

Im kinda new ta this place still, but I thought i'd give a big Howdy ta everybody.

Hello, my name is Driver. I wanted to join this forum because I've decided to re-watch The Dukes of Hazzard series from the beginning and I thought it would be fun to talk to other fans of the show. To be honest, I have not watched it since the first run in the 80s. With the exception of a few reruns of course. I've recently had the yearning to fully immerse myself into the program again. Not only to watch it but to talk about and hear about different aspects of the filming, actors, settings and era of The Dukes of Hazzard. I also have a special story of meeting the cast when I was a child. I would like to share it once I get to know the people on here! My DVD of Season 1…

Hey, I'm glad to find this site. I've been a Dukes fan ever since the other kids in my neighborhood introduced me to it way back when, when I was too young to really catch everything that happened, even...but I sure knew I liked that car! I'm a bit of a crafter and just finished a Dukes project, so I'll be posting that over to the Hobbies section after I get the hang of this forum. Thanks to HossC and RogerDuke for the nice welcomes. Hello. I remember my babysitter got me into this show! This is probably an odd choice for a favorite show, but it was one of them with the Beaudry's (weren't there only two episodes) and I was wondering if someone could tell me which one it was and what box set it's on: The episode I like is not the one where the Beaudry's get trapped in their own trap. I think they were doing something to Daisy (the other episode.) All's I remember, the Beaudrys put up quite a fight. They weren't easily beaten like other bad guys were. Thanks for all your help.

My childhood was all about the Dukes of Hazzard. I found the Facebook page for Hazzardnet and have been following the posts and enjoying the memories that come with them. I was born in 1978 and while all my friends watched the show for Daisy, my love was the General Lee. I had the die casts growing up and eventually lost them however never lost my dream of having an actual 69 dodge charger painted like the General blaring the Dixie horn. I still do not own one unless you count the 1/25 scale car sitting next to my bed. Although I have driven one a few years back when I used to work at an auto repair shop a local came in for an alignment on his General Lee, boy did I feel…

Well I found this forum, Im 45 years old and grew up on the Dukes and Civil War reenactoring in 1981. My Dad and I along with my twin brother watched this this show. I still cant get over how good the TV shows from the 70's and 80's when I was a kid beat all the garbage on TV today. It's a sin I have to search the net for these old shows to show my kids. My Dad or( Mom who has since passed) never told me about about the TV shows she has watched) the kids of the late 1970's thru 1980's need to go thru ol the old TV shows and teach they kids of today the way things were. The only good thing is now you can google the net on the past things that made the kids of the 70's …

Hi! I started watching DOH when I was about 5. I remember going to my grandma's house on Friday evenings and everyone sitting around watching. I started watching it recently with my kids, ages 4 and 6 on CMT and they love it. My son does Rosco impressions My favorite character was always Enos. I remember being so upset that he wasn't in any episodes from early season 3-4. I'd watch the opening and if it was Cletus (who I think is funny now), I'd just turn it off, lol. I was so upset with the 1st reunion movie (didn't watch the 2nd), I'd waited 12 years for Enos and Daisy to get married Anywho...I thought I should say "Hi" because I've begun writing a (long) Enos …

Just wanted to tell everyone hello. It is a pleasure to be on a site with so many great Dukes fans. I was thrilled when CMT brought the show back. The Dukes were always one of my favorite shows as a kid. My buddies and I would also find an excuse to play the Dukes of Hazzard. Luke Duke was always my favorite character on the show and everyone of us had a major crush on Daisy Duke. The entire cast was great.

YEEEEEEHAAAAAAAWWWWWW.......... A big how-dee from the desert southwest of Tucson, Arizona! Actually I'm a native New Englander (north of Boston MA), and it was the Dukes who first introduced my brother and myself to words like "ain't" and "y'all", which of course we had never heard in Massachusetts. Much to our parents' horror.... I did spend 7 years of my adult life in the Deep South, marrying into a North Louisiana family who remembered when, during the show's heyday, almost every little town had someone who had a General Lee, with varying degrees of quality. I'm an award-winning master modelmaker, normally specializing in aircraft but I'm in the process of a li…

I am 28 years old and i was given a copy of the 2005 movie of Dukes of Hazzard and i love it, i love it, i love it and had to go find the "OLD" show... Hello Folks, I was on here ages ago as some god-awful complicated name I can't remember, but thankfully, those days are in the past. I want to spend some more time on the net now that I can; I've been so busy-busy-busy with so many things offline. Some of you may remember me as Carolyn. I'm an aspiring writer who wants to write mostly about travel. I'm into martial arts, swimming, reading (mostly travel stories, of course, but lots of things), writing, nostalgia, including television, and have loved The Dukes of Hazzard ever since I was 7, and I fell hard for John Schneider with a crush that has never faded away since. Soon to be a Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Re…

Hello everyone! Of course I am a fan of the Dukes but I have a 9 year old who absolutely loves the Dukes! He started watching them about 5 years ago and I thought maybe it was a phase but boy was I wrong! He recently made a General Lee pine wood derby car and won first place. I was hoping there was somewhere on this website I could post the pictures His absolute dream would be to meet any of the cast. I bet he says Yee-Haw 50 times a day! And thats the ONLY thing he will watch. I do believe his love of the Dukes of Hazzard is here to stay!! Hopefully I can take him to meet them someday. I wish they were still having the Dukesfest ..... Have a great day everyone…

Hi guys this is Bo77 here love the site.......

I’ve only been here for quite a few weeks, but all the content here is nice (mostly with the squad cars though...) But when I found out about this forum I hadn’t known about The Dukes of Hazzard (sure there was the 2000s movie but the TV series from before? Nope.) apart from the fact that several of the patrol cars used by the lawmen in Hazzard County have made appearances in other films and TV series, plus somewhat more notable cars too. Movies that I’ve watched so far: The Blues Brothers, Smokey & The Bandit as well as S&TB2, plus H.B Halicki’s The JunkMan, the original Gone In Sixty Seconds and it’s 2000s reboot and Blues Brothers 2000. …
