Recently viewed the 2005 remake and enjoyed it. Having seen there wasn't a thread for it... thought I'd see if anyone else liked the remake as much or almost as the original. Daney

In 1969, a little Volkswagen with a mind of his own, was introduced to the world in the movie - The Love Bug. Featuring main actors Dean Jones, Michelle Lee, Buddy Hackett David Tomlinson This movie is a Disney classic, and one of the first movies I remember watching as a kid. Way back on VHS. (Showing my age a little bit lol) But it really fired up my imagination, I think I was maybe 3-5 years old and I had an old toy car, wasn’t even a Volkswagen and I knocked together a little Herbie. Was wondering does anyone else remember this great movie?

I went to see this with my little sister's friend, because I wanted to make her feel better after they had gotten into a fight. I wasn't expecting it to be so funny. My favorite part in the whole movie is when Steve Martin meets a British Seceret Service Agent 006, the exchange between them is so funny; "I'm agent 006, British seceret service." "Aww One step from the big time eh?" the guy just gives him a dirty look and keep talking.

The Shakiest Gun In The West, is a Don Knotts Movie and he plays a Philly Dentist and first scene with Dental School Final Exam will have laughing out of your chair. He's one determined dentist, what his mother pulls out of her purse for a tip for the porter will have you cracking up as well. Don Knotts looks pretty nice when he gets his all black cowboy outfit out west and the Indain Scene you got to see as well. Don Knotts plays Dr. Jesse W. Heywood and he is heading west and kind of green with a gun and everything western at this point. Barbara Rhoades plays this is outlaw named "Bad Penny" and she is the good shot of the movie. Just this wednesday night I watched "The Sting" a wonderful movie made in 1973 starring Robert Redford and Paul Newman when he was young. It set in 1936 Illnois and Ray Walston is in and it has a wonderful surprize ending to it. I have always seen the dvd at the County Library and alway walked by it but never borrowed it but last month I borrow and wednesday I watched it. Oh it has a plot similar to one of the fifth season episodes on The Dukes of Hazzard. I you like Robert Redford and Paul Newman or even probaly never heard of the actors. Well okay, there is alot of old cars in it and lots of action and one great poker game on a train going to New York.

I just bought this on DVD, and got a great laugh out of it. It's one of the best corny movies out there.

Anybody here ever see the movie The Villain with Kirk Douglas, Ann-Margaret, and Arnold Schwarzenegger? It's a classic good guy wins, bad guy gets pummeled in so many different funny ways type movie. Think live-action Wile E. Coyote. LOL. It's directed by Hal Needham, who happened to work on Smokey and the Bandit, Hooper, the Cannonball Run movies, and whole slew of other Burt Reynolds movies. Kirk Douglas plays the villain, Cactus Jack, who is hired to rob Charming Jones (Ann-Margaret) after she inherits a large sum of money. She is escorted by Handsome Stranger (Ah-nold). I don't know if any of ya'll got to see this movie on GMC, but it was a very good movie. Oh, did I mention Sonny Shroyer was in it? Well he was. It took at least a 1/2 hour, but he's in it. I would recommend this movie, even if it is just to see Sonny in it.

Miyazaki last movie. He's just announced retirement (I'll confess I've cried ). I've seen nearly ALL Studio Ghibli's movies, and in a World of "emotional pornography" (in movies, books, stories) I love these oasis of genuine and positive emotions. THANKS Hayao!! You gave me a lot, and I've learnt a LOT.

This was Tim Conway movie made in 1978 and the things that happen in reminds you of The Dukes Of Hazzed. If you have never seen this movie you splitting your sides on how they make back to the base. And best of all Enos and Cooter are in the movie.

Anyone else seen Top Gun in Imax 3D? I saw it yesterday and it looked AMAZING. The first time I saw the whole thing. Now I love it. Commence the continual listening to the album. (Just normal me when I'm into something new.)

I just watched Transformers last night and I want a Bumble Bee for myself did you see that upgrade that Sam got, from a 1970's Camaro to 2008 or 2009 Camaro talk about nice. And who didn't cry when Jazz died at the end of the movie.

This is definitely one of my favorite movies. Any other fans here?

Yesterday I borrowed it from the library and I watch it last night it was good man John Travolta was handsome in the movie. They had a commerical for "Face-Off" on the video and he sure has filled out lately.

Walk the Line (2005) Trivia: I heard that just like with Lou Diamond Phillips (Ritchie Valens) La Bamba (1987), the production team of Walk the Line wanted Joaquin Phoenix to be dubbed or lip sync Johnny Cash's songs. Just like Lou did with Ritchie, Joaquin refused and sang all Cash songs himself. He learned to play the guitar too. Reece Witherspoon also did her own singing as June Carter.

This movie is one the best remakes, I have ever seen made. The other good remake is the The Beverly Hillbillies(1993) , what did Diedrich Bader do how he did Jethro so well. He must have the original series as a kid. I Like Johnny Knoxville in Walking Tall , I like when he chops up the beauitful Red Truck going as far the Chrone the wheels,. the Colummn.

I had to add these movies ...The story of the late Sheriff Buford Pusser of McNairy Co, TN. There will never be another like him . Someone who fought corruption and illegal activities HIS way.

Hey, I just got "Wedding Crashers" in the mail today haven't watched it yet. But Owen Wilson is one the cutest blondes in Hollywood today.
