Got a song stuck in yer head? Type the lyrics out here and maybe it'll go away. Or just talk about your favorite songs, bands, etc.

Merry Christmas, Everyone! I came across this song on youtube, and figured it would definitely be something that would get the Boar's Nest rocking!! (The artist is apparently Keith Harling, btw.) (You'll need to get rid of the spaces around the www . I didn't want to annoy Mary-Anne by posting a link w/ out permission! Lol!) Have a Happy and Safe one, all!

I was deeply sadden to learn that the King of Pop had passed away. He was only 50 years old. It's a shame when some that young passes away. May you Rest in Peace Michael!! You will be greatly missed.

  4. I love collecting misheard lyrics. I thought I'd start this thread for all you music fans to post your favorite misheard lyrics. Elton John is one of my favorite sources of misheard lyrics. One of the funniest has got to be the song "Bennie and the Jets". The original lyric is "She's got electric boots, a mohair suit", but it sounds like "She's got electric boobs, her mom has too". LOL. And that's how I always sing it!

Hey y'all I'm sure I'm not the only one who has found themselves flicking through the tv or radio channels, and hearing the latest song being played. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who's questioned how the song made it to number one. Most of my friends agree with me on this. I'm convinced that music has gone into a downward spiral. In fact the only person who's firmly against me is my fourteen year old sister, who's obsessed with every boyband that comes out of those useless reality song competition shows. I'm into country, rock and blues. It may not be everybody's favorite type of music, but each song has it's own little story in it. Today's music, however, is empty …

Does anybody know what that music is in the newest Dukes of Hazzard movie trailer. It's the trailer that starts off with the Star Wars music, and then goes into an instrumental guitar song. What I want to know is what that song is with the guitar, not the Star Wars music. Thanks.

Oh My Darlin' Clementine(1884) In a cavery in a canyon, Excavating for a mine, Dwelt a miner forty-niner And his daughter Clementine Light She was and like a fairy, And her shoes were number nine, Herring Boxes, without topses, Sandals were for Clementine Oh, my darlin', Oh My Darlin', Oh, My darlin, Clementine You are best and gone forever Dreadful sorry Clementine. Drove she ducklings to the water Ev'ry morning just at nine, Hit her foot againist a splinter, Fell into the foaming brine. Ruby lips above the water, Blowing bubbles soft and fine, Alas, for me! I was no swimmer, So I lost my Clementine. Oh, my darlin', Oh my darlin', Oh, my darlin' Clementine You are lost…

I'm listening "Over my head", from The Fray. I love this song. But what does it mean "I'm over my head"? Literal translation in italian has no meaning. I've searched on vocabulary and on internet, but I haven't found what this expression exactly means (I'm making a new Enos-Daisy video with this song, so I'd like to know if it fits). Thanks for help.

Did you hear that Paris Hilton is going to Nashville, Tn. I sure hope she doesn't go to Nashville, Ohio now and she is going to record a Cover of "I'd Love to Knock The Hell of You" on her very first country album. She is also going to record Reba's "The Night Lights Go Out In Georgia", Paris thinks this song about a brown out in Georgia. She is going record a duet with David Hasselhoff and David Allan Coe, she wants to record the song "Take This Job and Shove it". And the other nothworthy song she is going to sing is Cletus T. Judd's "Bake Me a Country Ham" she doesn't know he only sings parody songs and she is set to release this Cd on April 1st, 2008.

  17. I may or may not have posted a previous topic about this band. Some friends of mine since 93/94 time period. They are in a band called PUMPJACK (reference to oil related equipment as most of yall prolly know). They have songs that any Dukes of Hazzard fan could dig and groove on. I would highly advise anyone, and everyone please do take a moment and give them a listen. It is a mix of southern-rock with a dash of metal. They do have some acoustic tunes though... they have lyrics that anyone here could prolly get into if they gave it a chance. And again it just so happens that they are all Dukes of Hazzard fans.... me and my friend Kyle (aka Thurber) both have shared some D…

My new favoritest song! It's raining here and it's been stuck in my head. (Mostly cause I'm glad it's FINALLY raining! haha) Rain is a Good Thing By Luke Bryan! My daddy spent his life lookin' up at the sky He'd cuss, kick the dust, sayin' son it's way too dry It clouds up in the city, the weather man complains But where I come from, rain is a good thing Rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey Whiskey makes my baby feel a little frisky Back roads are boggin' up, my buddies pile up in my truck We hunt our honeys down, we take 'em into town Start washin' all our worries down the drain Rain is a good thing Ain't nothin' like a kiss out back in the barn Wringin' out our soakin…
