A while ago I posted the idea that certain songs attached to different fanfiction stories, to set the mood. As I always to listen to music while writing, I always find myself listening to the same dozen or so songs for certain characters, to set myself my mindset to that character. I'm curious if anyone does the same, and include your character's list of songs. I realize songs change with the character, but it's like a snapshot into the character's head. Hi everyone, I have been working on touching up the ending of my DoH story, and I am now stumped. Can someone tell me please how Enos addresses Jesse? I know that Cletus has called him 'Uncle Jesse' and Jesse's reaction is 'I ain't your uncle Jesse'. I have heard Enos say 'Uncle Jesse', but not directly when the two characters are speaking to one another. Since I have always thought that Enos would be polite, I wrote that he called Jesse, 'Mr. Duke'. Does that sound about right? Thanks for any assistance.

Hi, I'm new here I want to give my son a Dukes of Hazzard themed party for his 6th birthday. He loves the Dukes of Hazzard. He has all of the seasons on DVD & all the special DVD's. I cannot find anything on Dukes parties though. I found some invitations on EBAY but they looked like they were done on a home computer so I'm going to make my own. I also found some mardi gras throw beads that have the general lee on them but these are the only things I could find. I don't want to have to do solid colors for everything. I can't find any ideas posted anywhere either. Can anyone help. Please!!!

When I'm writing my fiction, I listen to a song or a set of songs to set the "mood" of the story. Sometimes I think this is lost when I write. Sometimes I try to incorporate as the title of the fanfiction. Would putting the story's "themesong" into the first post be an odd idea? Or would that help help the mood of the story? Pendragon

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone knows which episode a certain stunt is in... The stunt involves the General Lee doing a huge jump over a train thats carrying cargo things, and Roscoe also attempts the jump but ends up on his roof.... After that he ends up getting out of the car and kicking the tire/saying something Roscoe-ish... If anyone can tell me which episode thats from I'd appreciate it!

Hello folks. Jax and I were having a interesting discussion recently and I was curious to know the thoughts of the other authors. What actor/actress would play your character? I know some of us have characters already based on known characters...(Cully, Riddick), but indulge me. Esp those with orgrinal characters. I am sure that many of you have noticed I stopped participating in round robin stories a long time ago. I have many reasons for doing so, and I am going to try to politely explain them because there is more than just me that stopped for the same reasons, but first, i am going to make a simple request that is not hard to abide by that I am sure multiple authors will appreciate. Please, do not message authors, especially multiple times, begging them to participate in round robin stories, especially if they have never posted to them. Hi, I'm a newbie, pretty much just recently got into the Dukes, but already I would consider myself a pretty big fan. But anyway, my friends and I have yet to see the Dukes movie, which comes out this next weekend here in my town. So I read a lot of my fanfictions on my DSi's web browser and just the other night when I wanted to read, it said the browers could not show the page and it was not responcable for it. Seeing that made me so mad. I just wanted to rant this because it made me so mad when I found it out.

My younger sister and I have never seen eye to eye on alot of things..she has three kids 9, 11 & 12..I have one child 16 months.. When i started out to wright my own DOH fan-ficstory's (didn't know it had a name than) back in highschool. i thought i'd wass the only one who did things like that (Not a verry big DOH-fan group here in this small country.
