Dukes of Hazzard Movies

Does anyone have any info on him? I heard that the Dukes is loosely based on his lifestory.

Ok so what if Jessica is blone and the Bo and Luke dont dress or acted like the original's. The tralor looks good and just maybe they wont act or look dumb when the movie comes out. But yet some people already have there minds made up that this movie is going to suck. Im not saying it going to win an ocser. But the movie might just suprise people but the problem is that when Starsky and Hutch came out and movie i liked but it's was'nt like the show and it was'nt funny but it was good then people toke that movie and made it the drewing board for other movies that would be made from other old tv show that if it suck then other movie's that Hollywood would make would suck. …

I have just been looking at who the crew are on the Dukes movie and I see that they have used 3 diferent lots of people to write and touch up the script.. I see John Obrian is the same guy the makers of Staskey and Hutch got in to touch up the script for that movie. I just wonder why they needed to get so many diferent people in to write the script and why they did not ask one for the script writers from the tv show to help write the script? Also I wonder how diferent to script writen by Jonathan Davis is the the Brocken Lizard one?

We all know about the Dukes in the show Bo ,Jessie,Luke,Co,Vance and Daisy. What about the rest of the family? Did Jessie every Marry? Does Luke have any brothers or siters. What about Lukes perents? Anyone know?

Has Anyone From The Movie Ever Posted Under A Different Name..???

Anybody see the trailer during tonights episode of Joey on NBC? Starts out with the General jumping and blowing the Dixie horn, then introduces the characters, then says in theaters August 5th.

Hey, y'all. I'm new to the board but not new to the website. Does anyone have any thoughts on when we can expect to see an official movie poster for the Dukes? I keep checking the IMDB frequently, since usually that's one of the first places an official poster will pop up, but I haven't seen anything yet. -Keith

1. the cars......all this talk about seeing caprices in the trailer, are BS...all i saw was were mid/late 90's ford interceptors used by the state patrol, current model cars used by hazzard county police and 1 ford LTD intercepter used by roscoe (which from far away does resemble a chevy caprice). 2. the fat guy talking to daisy at the end of the trailer and earlier in the car when luke toses the handcuffs out of the window. that guy is an oficer with the Atlanta PD, freeze frame the trailer and you can see thr APD patch on his left arm.

Does anyone have a link to download the movie trailer? I saw Recoil's post in the other thread for a link, but that is in Quicktime. I would like to download it in Windows Media so I can get the FullScreen . If anyone can provide a link or anything else like a torrent link , I would appreciate it. Darrell

there vrison of the theme song back story about 2or3 days ago i sent an Email to ask how to find the song and she Emailed me back (I'm not sure where you can find it. but I'll ask around. We're trying to get permission to put it on our website, if that happens I'll let you know!) Does anyone else think that they fact they are using like '80s Caprices as the Hazzard County sherriffs cars in the movie is totally gay? I mean when I was a kid growing up in the late 90s and first got into the Dukes, I'd fantasize about what the show would be like with modern cars esp like Crown Vic police cars.... Keep the General a 69 Charger, but for god's sake why they used Caprices is totally beyond me... If they wanted to be like the old show, get 76 Furys, or if they wanted to modernize the whole thing (which I think they did) why not use 99-present Crown Vics!!! Its completely insane to me... Ok i have read that Scott's Bo seems stupped but there where times the John's Bo was'nt the brights lights in all of Hazzard Also in the movie they seem to be women crazy but they where like that in the show to. Luke love story he what to be with her but yet he did'nt what to stop seeing other women :x and in other show the guys ether where runing after girls or very happy about spending all night out with a girl. From the first ep they uesd bad words. They where alwasy blowing or runing people off the road yet in the movie when they don't people cry about it. I dont know if it did happen it was from a interview with the Director (I know there's talk that Catherine Bach may appear his answer We talked to her. We haven't been able to work it out YET. We want her to but I haven't talked to her. I dont know her. I had a poster on my wall for a long time.) Again i dont know if this every happened but i seemed to my that Catherine unlike the other had no problem with them making a movie and if this did happen we might just see one of the original actors

WELL......its been a while since i wrote here, but after watching the trailer i had to comment. Im torn between love and hate... its gonna be a great movie as far as movies go, but its DUKES BLASPHEMY, its the wrong cast of dukes(minus uncle jesse of course). feels like jackass meets american pie.....that and i have a hatred for jonny knoxville...my rant is done i guess

Howdy Folks, this is my first post here at Hazzard Net, though I've been reading em for a while. Just wounderin if anyone knows where I can download Cage 9's rocked out verson of the Dukes Theme that played at the end of the trailer.

I have mixed feelings about the upcoming movie. I love the original Dukes, but I hate what Hollyweird has been doing to the shows that many of us grew up on. Plus: I like the fact that Burt and Willie are apart of this project. Personally, I think that Burt would have been better as Roscoe and have Mr. Gainey play Boss. Gainey being the serious to Burt's comical side would have worked out better, but I'll give this the benefit of the doubt. The best part of the whole movie will be seeing the General Lee flying through the air. Minuses: Jessica (no talent) Simpson. She actually blends in well with Stifler and the 2-headed Jackass from MIB2, but not for this movie. Br…

It's... awful... the General... might... become... this! THIS IS AWFUL! The new Charger. And they have the gald to call it the Road and Track edition, same title as the General. What if they use this in the movie! I don't think Jessica Simpson will fit through it (cool! Maybe that can get her thrown off the movie! > Your opinion on this?

Last night I saw club dread , suposidly a comidy but really a horrior flick by Broken Lizzard blood drougs sex nudity and cuite chicks all walle trapped on a island I thought the most casting was pretty good MC Gainey did a good job playng hank ( a very serious charactor) The new rosco might be more like Big ed little or Sherriff Emmit Lumis Spike of hatchipiee county than ol bumbiling in cohouts James Best But then again a low budget actor that no ones ever heard of..... mabe thats why he wasn't in the traller.......or on the website

In case any of you were curious the producer of the Dukes movie hired the stunt coordinator from the Borne Supremecy to do the car chase scenes and for any of you that have scene that movie this is good news! All the scenes in that film were exciting and hair raising. It tells me that they are taking this movie seriously even if it's gonna have a more contemporary feel, which I like. They made 23 General Lee's for the chase scenes alone and had a few others that didn't get destroyed. And good news for all you Mopar fans out there, most of the cars they destroyed were actually wrecks from the t.v. that they rebuilt, so no gratuitous Charger crashing like Fast and the F…
