Dukes of Hazzard Movies

I fully expect that the success of this movie at the box office will warrant a sequel. I began thinking about a story line, I saw it mentioned that it would be cool to see the original Bo and Luke appear in the movie as villains, which I thought would be cool, but to expand upon this idea, somehow these two villains kidnap the General and low and behold we have the original Bo and Luke back in the General on the big screen. (They would have to make at least one jump of course) trying to escape from Seann and Johnny. Boy I would sure pay to see that! What ya'll think?

Say what you will. The movie wouldn't be any big deal if it were something I wasn't raised on. My family was never together. When Dukes came on, be it cookin' dinner or fixin' the house, my parents and sister would drop everything to watch. When TNN dropped it years ago, we stopped that hour of family time. Now that it's back on CMT, things have fallen back into their old groove pretty quick. They're taking a major part of what shaped my childhood and screwing it up. It's like taking someone's favorite candy and changing the recipe. It could be sweeter, it could be more sour or it could just be nasty, but it isn't what they love. Just read on the Dukes-fest forum on this site that they have decided to shoot some new stuff for the begining of the film and have called back the cast and extras . Have a look at the post about it on the Duke-fest forum from one of the extras. Any news on this would be great?

Ok we all know that EVIL WB did not contact any of the original cast to try and incule them, which IMO is very disrespectful. Anyone know if the US premiere has been had? I wonder if they are inviting the original cast. I mean, to have the movie premiere with a grip of stars, and not invite the Original Cast, would be HORRENDOUS!! Disrespectful, and rude. When this movie started to film back in November 04. Alot of people on this web site said this film would be crap and that it would be a big flop at the cinema this summer. Now that they have seen the trailer they have said this film will be great. Who can you tell if you have not seen this film.

Jay said Willie Nelson is singing the theme tune. (The one that sounds the same as the tv theme tune from the tv show, not the rock one by cage 9. ) and that he is also the narretor. I think after seeing the trailer that he is re-doing the theme tune. I still could not be true.

Is this movie still coming out in the Uk on th 28th August. Where can I get this DVD that has clips of the new movie on it and that will play on a UK DVD or video player . When and where get I get a copy of the soundtrack in the uk from? Any other UK new on this film would be great.

Hey, gang. Has anyone heard anything else about the additional Dukes DVD release that was supposed to be out today? It was supposed to be just a single disc with only the first episode "One Armed Bandits", but it was also supposed to have a behind-the-scenes look at the new movie, which is the only reason I'm interested in the DVD since I already have the first episode in the first season set. Anyone know what the deal is on this? Is it in stores today along with season three? -Keith

Is there a website that has the TV trailers? I don't have cable and I want to check out what trailers look like. I am dying to find out what Cooter looks like since I've heard he's literally crazy in this flick. I read a while back he wears a bathrobe and underwear. No wonder Ben Jones is pissed!
