Does anyone have a mailing address where a person can get autographs of James Best (Roscoe), Tom Wopat, Catherine Bach, etc. I was able to get John Schneider's autograph a coulple of years back. I also stopped by Tom Wopat's town in Lodi, WI and meet his brother and saw the farm/house that Tom grew up on. I have never gotten his autograph though. I would rather mail in for their autograph's than take a chance of paying on eBay and maybe not even have it be real. Any ideas, Thank,

Many younger Duke fans don't know about the 1981 "Dukes of Hazzard Soundtrack" but I'd like to explain the historical (or as Rosco would say "hysterical") significance this had on the show. This 8-track or cassette was the best connection us fans had with the Dukes except for Friday night . We played it over and over because there was no other way to hear a Dukes story being told and we were so thirsty for anything from Hazzard County (in addition to the "toys" that we owned and the pictures from magazines we cherished). We could hear the voices of many of the Hazzard folks on this audio gem and those voices were as important to us as the DVD's are now. This is a true cor…

Hey y'all Every year in my school we have something called the Gold Medal Essay. It's basically an excuse for teachers to see how creative we are. There's five classes per year, and in each class there's one winner. My class did the essay after the Easter break. We were supposed to plan it over Easter but being Irish I kept putting it off and thinking that "sure it'll be grand". On the day of the essay I still decided that I'd "be grand". When english class started I looked at the titles for a few minutes. I can't remember much of them but two that I remember are "After the War..." and "Things That Make Me Happy". I chose the latter, and immediately began waffling on ab…

Hey gang. Barely on the forums at the moment as Summer is my busy season, but I just had to share this. This story is both amusing (as in, it could be straight out of an episode, could imagine Boss and Rosco planning it!) and annoying, how how U.K. Police can waste time on something so trivial and yet ignore many bigger real crimes. Basically, a General Lee was carrying newlyweds in Dorset, U.K., when the drive, a Wayne Duke (yes, really) sounded the Dixie horn twice, and the Police promptly pulled them over from breaking the law! Can almost imagine the officer having Flash in the passenger seat! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2708615/Newlyweds-way-wedding-rec…

Let me tell you a story about the strength of the human spirit. A story I have shared with a precious few, but I share it now because of the friendships I have made on Hazzardnet. 5 years ago, one scared, depressed college student did something really, really stupid. She didn't get the help she needed. Instead, she took the entire contents of her prescription drugs and most of the over the counter medications as well. She nearly died. In fact, if not for a quick-thinking roomate she would have. She spent the next ten days in the pysch ward of the hospital, visited by friends and family, all who told her they loved her despite what she had done. Five years ago, this Hal…

Are you all familiar with the term "Jump the Shark"? I wasn't until I came across this site, so here it is: "It's a moment. A defining moment when you know that your favorite television program has reached its peak. That instant that you know from now on...it's all downhill. Some call it the climax. We call it jumping the shark." The term comes from an episode of the Happy Days when "The Fonz" literally jumped a shark on water skis...or something. Anyway, the page for the DoH where people vote and comment on when they believe the DoH "jumped the shark" is here. There are a ton of comments and it is a pretty entertaining read. Some of the comments will no doubt irritate Do…

Does anyone have a copy of the recent tv land awards that had John and Tom together as presenters. I heard that they also sang on it, but I am not positive about that. I did not know they were on it untill I had missed them. I was surfing through the channels on my tv and I caught them just as they were leaving the stage. I would love to have a copy of it. Does anyone have one? If anyone has it, if you can make a copy of it, i'd gladly pay any reasonable price to get it. Just let me know. Thanks

There is a spam email going around to fans of John Schneider that all should be aware of. The sender of the message will be identified as "Bo Duke" so it should certainly raise flags for fans immediately anyway. Anyone with half a brain should be able to figure out that is isn't really "Bo Duke" sending the emails but still, I figured that I'd pass on the warning. The message would be as follows if it ends up in your inbox: "Hello I'm writing this message to you with sadness in my heart. I came down here to Philippines with my family for a short vacation but unfortunately, we were mugged and robbed at the park of the hotel where we stayed. All cash, credit cards and cell…

This is a TV Movie and I know I should have kept my expectations low, but it was pretty boring and uninteresting. Even with Mr. Schneider, Reba McEntire, and about Christmas. That being said, I liked seeing him working on something new and McEntire looked stunning.

So far, I have met three "famous" people in my life, as I can immediately recall. Only one of the three are DOH related: James Best (When I was about 5 or 6 years old) "Doctor Dirty" John Valby (At one of his concerts, while buying one of his CD's) Zora Arkus Duntov (The "Father" of the Chevrolet Corvette.) I'm just wondering if anyone has met anyone famous? Or not so famous?

Hey, gang. Don't know if anyone else has noticed this but me, but in the original trailer for the 2005 Dukes movie (the one that starts with a countdown: 05...04...03...02...01), the "Yeee-Haa" yell heard as we see the General flying through the air doesn't appear to be made by Johnny Knoxville or Seann William Scott. It doesn't match with the way their yells sound in the finished movie, and it DEFINITELY doesn't match the yells used for the exact same shot at the beginning of the movie (where the General is freeze framed in mid air and the titles are superimposed over the car). In fact, the "Yeee-Haa" is barely audible in the finished product compared to the trailer. Per…

from the beach. I'm so happy. I missed everything. It was so hot. The heat index yesterday was 115, and i tried not to leave my house. I did get sunburnt, lost some money ($20) witnessed a car accident, and because of my 7 yr old neice I saw and met Aaron Carter at the House Of Blues. I did have a great time and i'm glad to be back. I haven’t been to Florida since Thanksgiving. AS much as I would love to see my adopted/half brother Josh and my nephew Kyle, I really don’t want to go, because of my mother. To make a long story short, at Thanksgiving Josh invited his birth mother and her family without telling anyone including my mother. (We share the same father and Josh was adopted by my mother when he was a baby.) Anyway, that whole weekend my mother was so mad, she wouldn’t talk to anyone. I’m afraid now that Easter will be Round 2. Even though, she knows his birth mother and her family is going to be there. Please keep me in your thoughts as I dread this weekend. Hope everyone has a nice E…

more or less boycotting the Dukes. On the DVD only Daisy and Bo narrate the "behind the scenes" commentary on the first episode. Secondly, when they have the reunion with roscoe, enos, cletidus, daisy, bo, etc Tom Wopat is no where to be found. Is he still mad about the contract dispute and that some of the episodes got kinda cheesy over the years?
