Okay so here's the idea I had... We all know about the fan of the month and fan of the year achievments going on in Hnet, judged by the great RogerDuke! Congratulations to all who have earned and will earn this honour Thing is, don't you guys feel that maybe the mods need some kind of achievment of their own? They work hard round here to keep the forums running as smoothly as possible and update the website to keep us informed of goings on in the Dukes of Hazzard world. SO, seeing as there's only three mods, how about a Mod of the Year achievement? It would get a bit repetitive doing it every month like the fan one, but I thought a Mod of the Year might be pretty cool an…

I have been carrying this note written from John Schneider, dated June 10, 1997. It has been in my purse since the day I received it. It was sent to me by a ex who is also an actor in Hollywood and worked with John on the set of "Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman". I met John in 1979 when I was a runaway teen trespassing on the Burbank Studio lot. I mistakenly walked on the Hazzard County set during filming. By the time I got to the (courthouse", John was taking a break, sipping on a cup of coffee and walking in my direction. Behind me was a motorcycle security guard fast approaching me. My stomach was in knots as I knew trouble was following me. John and I crossed paths just as…

wondering if anyone could write it into a story for me. Chad and i got off an elevator with this little kid, and we were going to a Halloween party. There were 2 doors that had signs on it, "Kids" and "Young Adults." The little kid stood at the door looking afriad to go in. Chad, who was standing behind holding my hand said, "Come on in here. It will be okay." Then took the little kid's hand and we walked in. Then sometime inside the party, a guy that referred to him as my brother, but it was DJ from Roseanne, shot a girl in the right shoulder, and then took off. THe next day, Chad and I walked into this old farmhouse, that was my house. My mother and father were there i…

I was over at my cousin's house one day and it was about nine o'clock,(It was summertime so it was just then getting dark. I was in the kitchen with my cousin Drew watching the popcorn pop in the microwave. All of a sudden my cousin Amber starts screaming and she ran out of the bathroom right into my arms and she was crying. When I asked her what was wrong, she said the shower was glowing. I, according to her, looked doubtful. She took me and Drew into the bathroom and sure enough, the shower was glowing. Another time I was sitting on the couch watching TV and all of a sudden, the napkin holder flew, litteraly liffted off of the counter and flew, across the counter and hi…

Okay, so I got a call from Ric at Rock103.com a couple days ago. It seems Hooters of Wolfchase in Memphis had a Daisy Duke Days going on so I was asked to carry my General Lee up there from 10am-4pm for a photo shoot, free meals and some fun with the girls: Pictures: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,37826.msg651906.html#msg651906 More Pics: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,37826.msg652578.html#msg652578

how many diesel guys (or gals) we got on this site? im going to school to become a diesel mechanic. (im pretty good already on the 7.3 ford) my dad owns the truck now but i want to buy it off of him as soon as i can. then the real fun starts. its a 99 f350 7.3L Lariat crew cab longbox 4x4 SRW, 4" lift and 35" tires. as it sits now it puts out about 320HP and 700lb-ft. with only an economy programmer, K&N air filter, and straight pipe exhaust. (it sounds awesome) it already go's:escape: and tows nicely, but my goal is to get to 400HP, just because its a nice number. and not too far away. haha :p

If any of y'all are on Facebook I would watch what you say and do over there. They have ridiculous community standards. I keep getting incarcerated for quoting Sheriff Buford T. Justice in the SATB groups. It happens to other members. So if I were y'all, I'd all do your quotes here in the SATB movie forum. Meadowmufn has reasonable policies here. As long as we censor the bad language in it with * and other symbols to spell it out, she does not care in the least. We can quote shows or movies here until our hearts are content. I am quoting here from now on. Tired of being arrested so am keeping it off of Facebook from now on. I hope y'all do the same.

I read a story on here some years ago about Rosco. He joined a gang, went undercover to catch them by posing as one of them. He borrowed GENERAL LEE as his car and painted it blue.

Last Friday he was moving rugs for my grandma, which he wasn't supposed to and he just sat down on the floor, and hurt his butt. So Sunday night, he kept saying that he wanted to go to the ER, so luckily when my grandma called the hospital his doctor was there and said to take him Mon. afternoon. The next morning my grandma got him up and they ate breakfast, everything was fine. Then he told her that he was hot, which he was always cold. She got him a new shirt and helped him dress. then she was reading the newspaper and talking to him and he didn't say anything, she looked and he was gone. He had a heart attack. I feel like May 16th, has always a bad luck for my family. …

Just to let ya'll know, "Scott", who is one of the folks who posted info about the Dukes movie during filming - is okay! I've been worried about 'em, along with all our Louisiana cousins. But I'm happy to report Scott's awright. He is busy helping with the relief and stabilization efforts. Y'all, we've put a link on the HazzardNet homepage to the Red Cross. The situation created by hurricane Katrina is beyond what most of us have ever witnessed for a natural disaster in the U.S. The amount of money needed to help folks survive and recover, is going to be tremendous. Simple necessities like fresh water, food, blankets and clothing have become incredible luxuries for p…

My thoughts and prayers are going out to all those who participated in the today's marathon in Boston where several bombs went off in different locations. So far a couple are dead and over twenty others hurt. Just incredibly sad and scary for everyone involved, watching, the police/paramedics/fire fighters, and their families. I can't even begin to imagine what they are now going through. A lot of people who are in marathons are in there not only to work out or to lose weight but also to raise money for charity or to bring awareness to cancers and other sorts. They give their time, effort, and talent to these charities and this is how they are repaid? Just incredibly sad…

Boss Hogg [big bad boss and also the sheriff’s brother-in-law] is this right? I know that Boss Hogg married Sheriff Rosco’s “big fat” sister Lulu his words, not mine. And whose car goes through the Hazzard County car wash? I have one in there currently Cooter is on his way to pick him up.

Friends... Beware when buying anything online! My Bluenox Skipper's hat in my Facebook profile picture, ordered from eBay seller Bluenox out of Sialkot Pakistan October 3 2020, shipped October 20 2020 and delivered October 26 2020, did not come with Gilligan's Island Alan Hale Jr.(Skipper) Twisted Knotted Intertwined Mouse Braid on it like advertised! The guy pulled the old bait and switch act on me, by showing me one thing, and delivering another completely different thing! The grand total of $78.29 and it still isn't what I wanted! Btw(by the way)this seller is a dead link now. His page no longer exists. I have learned my lesson. Can't believe everything I see! The mora…

Hey guys, Just found the site today, although I think I've been here before, has the site been remodeled? Absolutely love it, I've been looking for a Dukes site that's updated on a regular basis and it looks like I have finally found it. I'm 29 years old and have been a Dukes fan since it was first on. I remember Friday nights watching the Dukes and the Hulk back to back, it was the highlight of the week. As for current Dukes, I am so glad to learn the General Lee in the movie will have the flag, I was strongly considering not seeing it if it didn't have it on top. Can't wait for season 2 on DVD... That's about it for now. Thanks for listening!

I have decided to leave Hazzardnet and go join up at the A-team forum simply because I think that vans are much cooler than the General Lee and fake explosions are more interesting than car jumps. I know that I shouldn't make it a public thing of this, but since I have decided to be honest, that I would just sign off here and say I'll see y'all later. Now, if you really believe that...go and take a long hard look at your calendar!

Quentin Terintino (sp?) is directing and he's made several DOH references!!! Two characters were playing the Dukes Board Game at the beginning and then there was a "dukin it out" for a crime scene. Didn't JS mention on a commentary that Jimmy Best let him (Terintino) crash for a bit at his place while he took classes or something? Thought some might be interested - sorry if this is in the wrong spot or it's been posted already! Cheers!
