Dukes of Hazzard General Discussion

Ok im going to start this game. I will list 10 characters from the show and the number 10 beside them.What you do is name two characters that are in the list one that you want to give a point to and one that you want to take a point away from( example plus 1 bo duke, minus 1 rosco). Then when a characters score gets to 0 there eliminated. Last person standing wins. You can only vote once per day. Bo Duke 11 Luke Duke 10 Daisy Duke 10 Uncle Jesse 10 Cooter 10 Boss Hogg 10 Sheriff Rosco P Coltrane 10 Enos 10 Cletus 10 Coy and Vance Duke 9 Ill start plus 1 Bo Duke, Minus 1 Coy and Vance Duke.

Hello everyone. Long time fan of the show, first time poster. Ive read thru a lot of the previous posts and done a lot of searching on my own but I have to admit when I'm licked and need him from some experts on this. Ive been searching for a sound clip of Rosco's police siren. Sure there are lots of police sirens online but finding one that sounds like Rosco's (and defintely not that wailing moan of Cletus' patrol car had) seems like it doesn't exist. Can I make a The Dukes of Hazzard General Lee Go Cart by putting a 1968 1969 Dodge Charger car body on a Go Cart frame? Is this doable? If I ever do this, should I let the doors open or seal them shut? You know in all the productions, the doors opened. They were sealed in the story making windows entry and exit. But not actually sealed. I think stuntmen went in and out the doors. The actors used windows. But sometimes off camera you could hear it slam shut. I like all 7 seasons all 147 episodes. So choosing between GA 1-5 or CA 6- 147 would be hard to pick a version for the Go Cart to be based on.

Hope this might make for an interesting thread for the more hardcore 'nit picker' fans (a dedicated group of which I proudly consider myself to be!) As we know, continuity from episode to episode in the Dukes was (sadly) fairly rare. After each average episode was over, the reset button was effectively pressed; things seldom affected future episodes* and there is rarely reference back to events of specific previous episodes. But there are a few exceptions, and I thought it would be fun to gather them. Just seen a new Dukes of Hazzard complete series set @ my local Walmart for $59.99, looks like it would take up less than half the shelf space of the old season sets. This is an official WB release not a lower definition Mill Creek release like a lot of other 80's tv complete sets are.

Hi I was watching the dukes. i was wondering how old they were all supposed to be at the start of season 1 also how old were coy and Vance i know Byron was 28 when he was in season 5. i was just wondering they always make reference that Bo was the baby and in under cover dukes Jesse refers to Bo as baby Bo

Favorite filming locations... Hazzard County #1 GA or Hazzard County #2 CA? I love both. But Hazzard County #1 GA is the best one.

I`ve only seen the first season of the DOH and the 2nd and the 3rd season are on the way, but i want to ask whether there was an episode where 3 or more cars were after the general, just like smokey and the bandit, instead of just Enos/Cletus and Roscoe. I love the fist fights in the boars nest, but in season 1, there were only two fights, does the number increase in the upcoming seasons ? GREAT SHOW

I don't know if there's a cartoon post or not, so here goes.....I've only seen about half the 20 episodes ( wife bought me the entire collection for Christmas) . They are VERY boring! Flash doesn't look right with his hat and Rosco doesn't look like Rosco....they drew everybody else well....why not him? They keep hoping around to other countries....WHY??? I'd rather see them on the farm, like on TV! Why do they have to travel? That's not TDOH! I know it's a cartoon but these plots were even MORE simple than the TV show!! WHERE IS COOTER??? I know there is currently an up-roar in the sports world about the Confederate Flag and how it stands for hate and horrible times in the South. Why would they choose that to put on The General? Or what did it mean to them? Thank you, Chad

Maybe it's not as evident in the first season, but in Ghost of General Lee and several episodes after that, you can really see a caring side to Rosco that you don't see often...his face when the General is jumping into the pond in Ghost of General Lee (although it wasn't Bo and Luke) but you can really see he actually does like the Duke Boys, he enjoys the chase, he wouldn't actually want to hurt them at all. Does anyone like this side to Rosco? I really do.
