I have had the pleasure of getting to meet Chris Hansel three times so far. He is the sweetest person. I just recently saw him at the Carlisle Comic Con on Oct 19. I got a hug from him and he even said to me "how about a little kiss". I gave him a kiss on the cheek. He does give the best hugs. He did invite me to Huang out with him at his hotel on Oct 18 but I was unable to do that. I can't wait to see him on Nov 23-24 when he is at the Manheim Comic Con. I also hope to get another Hensel Hug.

I was watching Road Pirates today. I thought the first truck driver who Daisy stopped with her legs looked familiar. He was the strong looking guy who laid down beside her and crawled under her car to secure the muffler. They showed his name in the credits and it is Salt Walther. He lived from 1947 to 2012 and drove different classes of race cars. In 1973 he was involved in a horrific crash at the Indianapolis 500. I watched it on You Tube. It was nasty....so nasty in fact that it changed rules that made the Indy 500 more safe. My memory isn't that great but it seems like maybe we've talked about him before here on the HN. The wife and I were watching a Christmas movie and saw a girl who reminded me of someone who was on just one Dukes episode. I can picture her face really well but am trying to find out who she was. The only line of hers I can remember is an altered version of "Necessity is the mother of invention". She changed invention to "intervention". She was brunette and pretty and around Daisy's age. Any ideas?

Happy birthday to Miz Emma Tisdale. Nedra Volz was born on 6-18-1908 in Montrose Iowa. She stood at 4 foot 11 inches but despite that was very intimidating. If she asked you to take a number you did it.

It has been reported that Samuel E. Wright has just passed away. He was Enos's police partner in the TV series Enos. Unfortunately, Enos never came out on DVD so only us folks who were lucky enough to see the series when it originally aired know what a great duo Enos and Turk were. I didn't know this but he was also the voice of Sebastian on The Little Mermaid. He was 74 and will be missed.

It may not have been the most popular episode of DOH but it always got people talking. The actor who wore the alien suit on Strange Visitor to Hazzard has died. His name was Felix Silla and he was 84. He was best known as Cousin ITT on Addams Family.

The Queen of country music turns 89 today. She's in poor health but don't believe those internet stories that say she's gone. Loretta is.....and always will be.... my favorite female singer. Her voice is as unique as a voice can get...just like her friend Patsy Cline. When you heard their voices you didn't have to stop and ask who it was. We love you Miss Loretta.

Earlier today I watched the Reunion movie Hazzard in Hollywood, I really liked seeing it again. For some reason I always find it better than Reunion 1, maybe because it's more like how they could be now instead of the same but 12 years later. Anyway, that's not why I make this topic. As you probably know Anita Cochran plays in this movie as Luke's old love, she is said to be sent to Nashville by Luke to start her music career. Clearly she is supposed to play herself with a different early background. Sad news… Actor Dennis Burkley has passed away. He played Bubba in episode "Find Loretta Lynn" and Mickey Larsen in "Strange Visitor To Hazzard". He was also seen in several great 70's and 80's shows like Rockford Files, Greatest American Hero, The Fall Guy, and Knight Rider.

Alright, so I'm writing a story, and a plan on using a pivotal member of the Hazzard community for a scene, the good reverend... but... I cannot remember his name or age! Help! I am fairly certain the good reverend appeared in the episode where there was a mixup with the little black books, where Daisy was in a church play as a nurse. Someone, please assist me!

My wife is a huge General Hospital fan. Today they were showing scenes from an upcoming episode and I saw a lady who looked familiar and my wife said "Oh, they're bringing her back!?" She told me that I knew she used to be on General Hospital because we talked about it before. My memory's not so good so I had to ask more details. She said that she used to be on the Dukes. *LIGHT BULB OVER MY HEAD* The lady in question is Diane Benson from Carnival of Thrills.

Hey y'all I was watching Luke's Love Story earlier. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Hazzard County Derby meant to be every year? Anyway that got me thinking. Amy Creevy leaves the trophy with Luke,saying she will come back next year and win it fair and square. That scene had me practically yelling to the writers in my head (must have been caused by the paint fumes from the Rosco bike) about how they missed out on a really good opportunity to bring back two (in my mind) interesting characters that could have been expanded. The rumors are true! I've picked up Don Pedro Colley and added him to my roster! Don became interested in acting by accident, after joining some friends for a play rehearsal. He is probably best known for his roles of Gideon in the series, Daniel Boone, in the Beneath the Planet of the Apes film as Ongaro, and as "Sheriff Little" in the TV series, "Dukes of Hazard".
