  1. Past hour
  2. Mine was awesome! Stayed in listened to fireworks while watching my Dukes marathon. I had myself a Dukes of Hazzard Duke-a-thon marathon just like the old TNN (The Nashville Network) used to do. I had my Duke-a-thon on YouTube. I did it on the TV Stunter channel.
  3. I heard about this day before. Is this a Canadian version of the 4TH of July?
  4. Today
  5. Here comes Skipper in his truck with trailer hauling his boat. He's catching up fast.
  6. Garrett's car sputters a bit but is back to firing on all 8 cylinders in a jiffy. He's still in first. In fact, nobody has passed anybody these past few seconds but Garrett's lead isn't as big as it once was. And now Emma is fighting Jesse for fourth place. She is right behind him ready to make a pass on his truck. She has plenty of practice since she makes a pass on him every time he comes into the post office.
  7. Sorry to hear about your health Tom. I hope you are better. I think I have a herniated disc in my lower back so I'm in bad shape myself. Belated Happy Canada Day. Did you know there is a Dukes cartoon called The Canadian Caper?
  8. Anybody going to see the Brad Pitt F1 movie?
  9. I've often thought that when keeping track of their birthdays here on the HN.
  10. I like his politics but also like Meadowmufn's rules to not talk about politics.
  11. wilderness
  12. HENRY and gail flatt
  13. I respect his politics but not his financial irresponsibility.
  14. Yesterday
  15. The only other one I've found is 'The Haunting of J.D. Hogg' from season 7. It originally aired on 4 January, 1985, which was Sorrell Booke's 55th birthday. With the exception of the first season which was a mid-season replacement, Dukes generally aired between mid-September and mid-March. Weirdly, most of the lead actors had birthdays in spring and summer. I only looked up the main actors, so it's possible that some of the guest stars' episodes aired on their birthdays.
  16. Walkabout
  17. I used to respect him so much till he went all extreme in his political leanings.

    NASCAR news

It looked like being a shoot-out between Oscar Piastri and Lewis Hamilton for pole in tomorrow's British Grand Prix, but Lewis lost a small amount of time at the end of his final fast lap. Then, against the odds, Max Verstappen put his Red Bull on pole right at the end of the session. Red Bull have gambled on a low downforce setup giving them speed on the straights, but less grip in the bends. That might give them trouble in the race if it rains. Lewis starts in fifth at his home race, ahead of his team mate Charles Leclerc, but behind Max, Oscar, Lando Norris and George Russell. That's still three Brits in the top five. You can watch the highlights here.
  19. Garrett can't believe his luck as everything is going smoothly and he takes an eye off the finish line and is surprised at the amount of action that is going on behind him that he is missing.
  20. Howdy y’all, forgot to post this yesterday but how was your 4th of July? What did you do to celebrate? Hope it was a great one! Yee-Haw!
  21. Sorry for the late replies folks, well here in my area, we often throw quite a bash. Rubber Duck Races, Community Wide BBQ, Community Breakfast (early morning) and even a fireworks show after the day is done, just to name a few things. Normally I’m right in the thick of things but this year I had to take a step back because I wasn’t too good health wise. Did still see the fireworks show though
  22. Not too sure honestly hmm….
  23. I’ll be sure to give it a try! Thanks again cousin
  24. Thanks cousin, be only too happy to swing on by! Feelin a little better too, it’s taken me a long time to get through it though.
  25. I just saw a meme that says, "He who drinks a fifth on the fourth may not be able to go forth on the fifth." I hope everyone has a clear head this morning!
  26. Tom Colt was played by Burton GILLIAM
  27. But wait, Roger bumped into Skipper and they both spun out. They recovered quickly though. So now, Garrett has the lead, Hobie is in second, Skipper third, Roger fourth and Emma fifth.
  28. I hope everybody had a good Fourth. Next year it's 250. I was 16 when we hit 200. I'm a little more tired now but a whole lot smarter.
