Here are some drawings I did of the General Lee

When I first met Rick, it was in the 90's, so the WWW was in its infancy. When I told him about HazzardNet's predecessor (the Hazzard County Sheriff's Department on Prodigy), he was excited there was a community of fans online still discussing and enjoying the show. He told me he'd be right back and when he returned, he handed me an enormous folder of 8x10s, several of them signed. That was very generous of him. I still have them packed away from the move, but when I find them (someday), I will scan them in and put them on the site. When I mentioned where I worked at the time, we had a connection there and he told me some amazing stories. We just had an awesome conversation. He was very personable and gracious. At the Dukesfest in '01, I got to do an impromptu square dance with him and Jimmie. Good times. I would've liked to have gotten to know him better, but my health and work situations over the years didn't permit me to get to events as much as I'd have liked.

Well done, Skipper. I also remembered the scene but not the episode. Watching the scene again, I remembered that it slightly annoyed me. When Boss reveals his string of dollar signs, every other one should be mirrored if they were cut out of a single piece of paper, but they all face the same way.

Happy Halloween guys!! unfortunately, I come from a family who don't celebrate things much outside Christmas so I'm not doing anything, but my mom bought me some candy last week (which is already almost gone) and I have a cool halloween outfit on Red Dead Redemption Online! Might brave up and watch some horror movies tonight...not sure

Wow. You guys are awesome. I feel like a chooch. I made a post 5 years ago and y’all responded and I ghosted you. So, my wife planned a surprise trip to Covington, GA with the fam. Got To visit the jump sites from the first 5 episodes, meet some other cool Dukes fans AND John Schneider happened to be in town after a convention in Atlanta. Talk about an amazing day! Then, hit Cooters Garage in Pigeon Forge, TN a couple days later. Anyway, I’m totally geeking out on all things Dukes again and looking forward to checking out the forums here! I still love your artwork recreations, Hoss!

True. I don't trust Meadowmufn. She's just too good of friends with the Sheriff. Speaking of which, I wonder if Rosco is going to let her drive his car in the Moonshine 400. If she does, ignore the siren. She will probably use it to trick us into slowing down.

The countdown of the 100 greatest songs by Irish artists started on the radio today, and they got halfway with some of the songs I've posted recently already appearing. It'll conclude next Friday, and I'll let you know which ones made the list. In the meantime, here's a song by an Irish artist who wasn't mentioned in the build-up to the poll. Cathy Davey - Reuben While I was looking for the video above I came across a version in Irish (as Gaeilge) with a couple dancing. It's fun.

While I'm on Irish artists, I couldn't ignore Thin Lizzy. This song was written by the band's frontman Phil Lynott and guitarist Gary Moore about Lynott's newborn daughter. Phil died when I was 15, but I did get to see Limehouse Lizzy, the best known Thin Lizzy tribute act, about 25 years ago. Thin Lizzy - Sarah

As far as I’m concerned, Dukes will always be one of the best family tv shows that ever aired, and let me say, I’m not a dad right now but I hope to be someday, and I want to share the love of Hazzard County with my kids, whether I have good ol boys or good ol girls, Hazzard is for everyone!

I don't tailgate even when the driver in front is going well under the speed limit. There's just not enough time to react if anything happens. I have also used the slowing down tactic when I've been tailgated.

I've never seen his shows (I'm not sure if they were shown over here), but I'm familiar with him through memes! It's so odd for me listening to Thomas being narrated by an American. The fictional setting of the Island of Sodor is so British (it's meant to be located in the Irish Sea between the English mainland and the Isle of Man). BTW. Last weekend marked the 80th anniversary of The Railway Stories (AKA. Thomas and Friends) - there's an article about it here. At least the music's good to dance to.

They're currently running the 2024 Camaro body and probably will next season as well.

Thus ends the 2025 Moonshine 400. The other racers gather around winner Garrett and hoist him up on their shoulders to carry him to the Boar's Nest.

How about Les Seymour from 'Dukescam Scam'? We never see him, but the Dukes nearly hit him. As Waylon says: "That's Les Seymour's truck. And old Les can't even drive nails."

Hobie slides in directly after and looks around wondering what happened to Meadow! He's glad everybody made it safely but his concern over Meadow ........wait! There she is! She just pulled in! ( He was worried! )

I can’t believe it in a sense, but there it is. Rick Hurst has crossed the creek on that rainbow bridge, now not only reunited with his kinfolk, but also a lot of the Dukes family who’ve gone on before him. I’m saddened I never got to meet him, I think it would have been fun to know him. God bless y’all. Tom Duke

This is a bit of a sensitive subject to me since my collection of stuff was sold at a low point in my life in 1989 when I was struggling emotionally and financially from a divorce. Of course I have bought things since then but lost my motivation to replace it all. I'll sit this one out. Don't let me spoil the fun though.

OK my fellow Hazzard citizens! ( Hazzardites!) I've got a tank full of my special Shine and I just tuned this baby up! Lord have mercy on anybody else trying to beat me!! :)

I'm still deciding if I should ride the dirt bike or the white Ford F-150. Might not decide until the last minute. How many days before the race HH?

Okay it looks like we have Hobie in the Trans Am. Garrett in a Jeff Goron NASCAR car. Me on Emma's mail motorcycle. Skipper pulling the SSMinnow with an F-350 dually. MM in Rosco's sheriff's car. Hoss in an orange F1 car. Boss, Spike, others, ya in? If we don't hear from people they're gittin' flat tires as soon as the race starts....but they will be starting.

Let's all remember, it's the MoonShine 400 ( not like Daytona 500, Charlotte 500 etc. ) because we who started the race, can't stay sober long enough to make 500 laps! It's ok though. We have a lot of fun racing people we know and it's mainly a Hazzard County thing, so we don't have to worry about outsiders crashing the party!! I hope everyone has had a great day. Remember, it's DOH day!! * * Happy DOHD everybody! ( Fridays are always Dukes Of Hazzard Day!)
