Here are some drawings I did of the General Lee

When I first met Rick, it was in the 90's, so the WWW was in its infancy. When I told him about HazzardNet's predecessor (the Hazzard County Sheriff's Department on Prodigy), he was excited there was a community of fans online still discussing and enjoying the show. He told me he'd be right back and when he returned, he handed me an enormous folder of 8x10s, several of them signed. That was very generous of him. I still have them packed away from the move, but when I find them (someday), I will scan them in and put them on the site. When I mentioned where I worked at the time, we had a connection there and he told me some amazing stories. We just had an awesome conversation. He was very personable and gracious. At the Dukesfest in '01, I got to do an impromptu square dance with him and Jimmie. Good times. I would've liked to have gotten to know him better, but my health and work situations over the years didn't permit me to get to events as much as I'd have liked.

That was Sleepy City in 'Go West, Young Dukes'.

Happy Halloween guys!! unfortunately, I come from a family who don't celebrate things much outside Christmas so I'm not doing anything, but my mom bought me some candy last week (which is already almost gone) and I have a cool halloween outfit on Red Dead Redemption Online! Might brave up and watch some horror movies tonight...not sure

Wow. You guys are awesome. I feel like a chooch. I made a post 5 years ago and y’all responded and I ghosted you. So, my wife planned a surprise trip to Covington, GA with the fam. Got To visit the jump sites from the first 5 episodes, meet some other cool Dukes fans AND John Schneider happened to be in town after a convention in Atlanta. Talk about an amazing day! Then, hit Cooters Garage in Pigeon Forge, TN a couple days later. Anyway, I’m totally geeking out on all things Dukes again and looking forward to checking out the forums here! I still love your artwork recreations, Hoss!

Hello! I figured since I might be drawing fanart more often that it would be a better idea to have one thread/topic than to post it all on it's own every time, and I have a really good piece to start it with. It's a drawing I did of Bo with a horse. The song "My Rifle, My Pony and Me" kept coming up on Spotify and I got really inspired for some reason, so I drew the song. (except the rifle, I didn't want to render that much metal AND wood) My friend is a horse girl and she said that Bo would have a Chestnut Quarter Horse Mare named Miss Joanne. It's my biggest project ever, with the multiple subjects and more body than just the head. I had a lot of fun with it, adding a bunch of little details that I'm sure most of them won't be found partially due to the bad quality I had to upload it in so it could fit, but I also think the bigger ones won't be understood. I'm not saying you guys are dumb, I'm saying that I probably didn't make it understandable as a reference and made it look more like just a design choice or a coincidence. Also, apologies for not posting/commenting anything, I haven't known what to say. The only dukes thing I've done/seen/thought of besides this drawing, is I made a wallpaper and lockscreen for a friend. I swear I haven't forgotten about this forum, and I'm still a fan!

I've been here 18 years and have 15,500 posts and I still have no clue what I'm doing. The HazzardNet is a lot like Hazzard....total chaos. If it wasn't it would be boring. We are happy to have you Davy and hope you stay a long time. Do you have a favorite character?

True. I don't trust Meadowmufn. She's just too good of friends with the Sheriff. Speaking of which, I wonder if Rosco is going to let her drive his car in the Moonshine 400. If she does, ignore the siren. She will probably use it to trick us into slowing down.

My parents were married 67 years, just a few months shy of 68 years when dad passed. They got married at 19 (mom) and 21 (dad). I've been married almost 23 years. My oldest sister celebrates anniversary #32 this year and my other sister will celebrate #26 later this year. So, my advice would be to find someone who's been married a long time and get advice from them! Because whatever my mom and dad were doing right, it seemed to rub off on us kids. My mom always told me that the key to a long marriage was.... 2 tv sets. And for the record, all of us kids have more than 1 tv set.

As I mentioned on the previous page, it would also have been my mother's birthday today, so I've been remembering her.

I play this, it has Online and Story mode, and story mode takes place in 1899 and is about an outlaw gang at the end of the wild west trying to navigate the new world and its SAD. I've watched grown men cry over it. Online mode takes place a few years before story mode starts, and it also has Red Dead Redemption 1 which takes place in the early 1900s but I dont have that yet I've also recently started playing this older PS1 (?) game on my laptop called Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. I downloaded it cause Cole Hauser was in it (love that guy), BUT HE WAS ONLY IN THE FIRST SCENE, I'm so upset. It's based on a movie called "Pitch Black" from 2000(?) and I think there's a sequel but Cole isn't in it, so I don't care to watch it Oh and sometimes I play a Harry Potter game but thats only if my bf is online and we're both bored of RDO and He wants me to play Fortnite so I might give it a try

I've never seen his shows (I'm not sure if they were shown over here), but I'm familiar with him through memes! It's so odd for me listening to Thomas being narrated by an American. The fictional setting of the Island of Sodor is so British (it's meant to be located in the Irish Sea between the English mainland and the Isle of Man). BTW. Last weekend marked the 80th anniversary of The Railway Stories (AKA. Thomas and Friends) - there's an article about it here. At least the music's good to dance to.

Thus ends the 2025 Moonshine 400. The other racers gather around winner Garrett and hoist him up on their shoulders to carry him to the Boar's Nest.

Garrett watches back from afar at everyone's emotions. "Well y'all," he finally says looking back at his car and back at them, "once I get this tire fixed, I'm off to The Boar's Nest. First round is on me if anyone wants to join." With that, he turns around and walks back to his car where he pulls out a spare tire and his equipment out from the trunk.

Jesse doesn't look too happy. "I'm gittin' too old for Hobie's Moonshine race. There ain't no way I'm doing this next year. It's just too chaotic and too dangerous!" After he walked away everybody smiled. Miz Tisdale laughed. "He says that every year after the race. Don't worry folks, he'll be back. Right now his pride is just hurt that I beat him."

Garrett watches everyone cross the finish line and smiles as Jesse and Miz Tisdale argue with Deputy Strate. After they leave the deputy's area, he confidently walks over to them with his hands tucked in his pockets. "Well y'all," he drawls, "congrats on a great race. I haven't had that much fun, in. . ." he pauses and shrugs, "forever."

Jesse erupted " What in tarnation did ya do that fer Emmer?" Miz Tisdale smiled "Now don't you remember Jesse? You was so confident you'd finish ahead of me that you promised to take me on a date to the Hazzard Pond if I beat you." * Sounds just like them! I'm out of emojies...so....

Watching from behind, Jesse sees Hobie take advantage of Garrett's misfortune and pull beside his car. From Jesse's view it looks like both cars crossed the finish line at the same time. The checkered flag waves. It appears Jesse won't know the winner until he finishes the race and asks. All he knows is that it looks like a photo finish. Skipper clearly has third place wrapped up. Losing to a guy pulling a yacht is a bit humiliating but Jesse is happy for Skipper. Now, there's the business of fifth place. He looks at Emma. There just might be a photo finish for fifth place too.

Seeing how fast Hobie and Uncle Jesse had gotten their vehicles to go fast, Garrett wonders what kind of work they put into their vehicles and why Garrett for once decided to race fair. "This is why NASCAR has all them silly rules," he mutters to himself as he momentarily holds Hobie off in hopes of making it to the finish line first.

I know I've posted something like this before, but this is more detailed. I have several "errors" situations etc. firstly, we know that the 1st episode aired in 1979. in it Waylon says last year (1978) the boys got caught on a run. in happy birthday general lee (aired 1984) we learn 8 years prior (1976) is when they got the general, bo was "just getting out of hs", Luke got out or marines, (not sure of how long someone could/had to stay in service back then) but they were even on probation then. (my guess is they never wanted they boys to use guns) Daisys shotgun wedding (aired 1983) : she had been working at boars nest for 4 years. was it 79 or 76? Hazzard hijack: Lukes's marine "buddy" was part of stolen money 5 years prior (1976) (they never "found" each other after Luke came home) 1979 ghost of general lee rosco says he chased the boys so many times over the years it was only three years I'm sure it was more (but I'm specifically talking of the general) bye bye boss 1981: ten years prior boss sent digger to jail (the "kids" did not know about it) play it again luke 1984: luke last saw candy 7 years prior (1977) there are several others that "meet each other" I know they were never thinking facts for timelines just rewatching it is funny with some episodes.

I can’t believe it in a sense, but there it is. Rick Hurst has crossed the creek on that rainbow bridge, now not only reunited with his kinfolk, but also a lot of the Dukes family who’ve gone on before him. Hello, late reply and actually my first reply. I’m relatively new to this site but I’ve been a Dukes Fan for as long as I can remember! I am from Eastern Ontario, doesn’t look like there are many of us around here. I just made my first Trip in April to Cooters in Luray, Virginia. Sadly I haven’t meet any of the Cast Members the timing just didn’t work out, but I did get a hat signed by Ben Jones!

+1 !! They never age or even grow old! Times never change in Hazzard! ( driving crazy, 8 track tapes, slower, simpler, etc.)

I have to disagree because the idea of any of the characters dying is something I don't even like to think about. That is why I didn't like the reunion shows. To me, Hazzard County is real and it hasn't changed since the early 80s.

I dont remember exactly but the Generals 8th birthday seems correct.

I can't pick my favorites, but thats because I suck at picking favs. I like those songs too but I also kinda dig "I Need Someone to Miss" it's very sweet

You can straighten the curves but I can flatten the hills with this souped up truck. Speaking of which, we went out for ice cream tonight and on the way down were listening to a classic country station and they played the Dukes theme. I was riding on a cloud....smiled the whole song!

Let's all remember, it's the MoonShine 400 ( not like Daytona 500, Charlotte 500 etc. ) because we who started the race, can't stay sober long enough to make 500 laps! It's ok though. We have a lot of fun racing people we know and it's mainly a Hazzard County thing, so we don't have to worry about outsiders crashing the party!! I hope everyone has had a great day. Forgive me y'all, but I just found this site. I've been watching The Dukes of Hazzard since it first aired (I was 7), and have been an absolute fan ever since! I grew up in a Mopar family and have had my share of of muscle cars. I drive/own only Mopar, and the 1969 Charger has always been my favorite, I've had a couple of them. Anyway, most people on the show who come to Hazzard county, are just passing through, but I plan on staying for a while. Looking to rub shoulders with some like-minded people on here. I hope I can give at least as much as I get on this site. Thanks in advance for puttin' up with me! Keep it between the ditches y'all!

Casino I've certainly heard of it over here, although I may not always use it correctly. With me and my friends, it may be said when someone wins something or gets some kind of bonus or bigger share, but we also say it when someone's actually having chicken for dinner. The source of the phrase is disputed, but it's thought to be linked to gamblers in the US in the 1920s or 1930s. One version says that chicken dinners in a Las Vegas casino were $2, which was also the price of a standard bet - if you won your bet, you got your chicken dinner. I'm not sure how it crossed the Atlantic, but it was most likely in movies and TV shows.

I'm not saying we're nearly as badly affected as some US states, but we never seem to be prepared for it. Very few people would have winter tires as it happens so infrequently. I'm back to work tomorrow and even though I only have to drive across town, I'm not looking forward to the journey. Even the main roads weren't clear today.

From Jayski's silly season site: 23XI is expanding to 3 teams and poached Riley Herbst away from Ford to drive the #35 Toyota Camry for 2025 Kaulig Racing is changing the #31 to #10 and put Ty Dillon in the seat. Shane Van Gisbergen will drive the #88 Chevy for Trackhouse Racing Justin Haley is moved over to Spire to drive the #7 Chevy Josh Berry will take over the reigns of the Wood Bros #21 Ford Mustang Chase Briscoe will take over the #19 JGR Toyota Camry Michael McDowell is moving to Spire in the #71 Chevy Todd Gilliland is moving to the #34 Ford Mustang. Stewart Haas Racing shutdown and sold 3 charters, though 2 of them are in limbo with the 23XI and Front Row Racing lawsuit against NASCAR. Haas kept the final charter and will have Cole Custer drive #? Ford Mustang, it will be a RFK satellite team. RFK Motorsports bought the 3rd SHR charter and expanded to 3 teams with Ryan Preece in the #60 Ford Mustang. 23XI and Front Row Racing won an injunction against NASCAR in the latest twist in the lawsuit. Next Court date is January 8th.
