Here are some drawings I did of the General Lee

When I first met Rick, it was in the 90's, so the WWW was in its infancy. When I told him about HazzardNet's predecessor (the Hazzard County Sheriff's Department on Prodigy), he was excited there was a community of fans online still discussing and enjoying the show. He told me he'd be right back and when he returned, he handed me an enormous folder of 8x10s, several of them signed. That was very generous of him. I still have them packed away from the move, but when I find them (someday), I will scan them in and put them on the site. When I mentioned where I worked at the time, we had a connection there and he told me some amazing stories. We just had an awesome conversation. He was very personable and gracious. At the Dukesfest in '01, I got to do an impromptu square dance with him and Jimmie. Good times. I would've liked to have gotten to know him better, but my health and work situations over the years didn't permit me to get to events as much as I'd have liked.

Well done, Skipper. I also remembered the scene but not the episode. Watching the scene again, I remembered that it slightly annoyed me. When Boss reveals his string of dollar signs, every other one should be mirrored if they were cut out of a single piece of paper, but they all face the same way.

Happy Halloween guys!! unfortunately, I come from a family who don't celebrate things much outside Christmas so I'm not doing anything, but my mom bought me some candy last week (which is already almost gone) and I have a cool halloween outfit on Red Dead Redemption Online! Might brave up and watch some horror movies tonight...not sure

Wow. You guys are awesome. I feel like a chooch. I made a post 5 years ago and y’all responded and I ghosted you. So, my wife planned a surprise trip to Covington, GA with the fam. Got To visit the jump sites from the first 5 episodes, meet some other cool Dukes fans AND John Schneider happened to be in town after a convention in Atlanta. Talk about an amazing day! Then, hit Cooters Garage in Pigeon Forge, TN a couple days later. Anyway, I’m totally geeking out on all things Dukes again and looking forward to checking out the forums here! I still love your artwork recreations, Hoss!

I purchased a martin warthog bow a year or so ago. I have been told its in very good condition but was missing some stuff. I picked up the 8 arrow quiver but I had to purchase another old bow to get it but it is the correct one at least. A friend of mine brought me s martin deerslayer sight and I put a new arrow rest on it too. Was wondering if anyone knows exactly what sight was used on the one in the show? I got the 3 pin deerslayer sight on it now and it looks good but I don't think that was the one. Definitely a cool old school wood bow. Just trying to get as close as I can to the one on the show.

The countdown of the 100 greatest songs by Irish artists started on the radio today, and they got halfway with some of the songs I've posted recently already appearing. It'll conclude next Friday, and I'll let you know which ones made the list. In the meantime, here's a song by an Irish artist who wasn't mentioned in the build-up to the poll. Trying to get her into Hazzard, one jump at a time. Yee Haw!

We've had another week of rain here, although not too bad where I live. I don't think I've ever been close to experiencing wind chills of -30F (that's about -34.5C). At least you've got the coolest day of the year to look forward to - cool!

Well I just got back from a visit to the best little spot in our county, my local Boars Nest. Awfully quiet for a Sunday though.

Wow! That is a lot....and none of it good. We care about you and are concerned, but I'm sure you know there is only so much we can do on forums like these. It sure sounds like you need more help than internet friends can provide so I suggest you reach out to local organizations that can help. If you don't know where to go maybe you can contact your county health department and they can point you in the right direction. Churches also can offer help but if you aren't inclined to go that route I understand. We have all been at low points in our lives and talking about it is always the most important step to get better and that means face to face counseling with someone who is trained to help. Please seek out a person like that and keep us updated.

In my area of NW Pennsylvania it is easy to get a job, even part time and under 18. Employers are desperate for help.. But I'm sure that's not the case everywhere. Keep looking. You'll get there if you stick with it.

So, are you going to turn your kit into a Charger Daytona? I don't know much about 3D printing, but www.printables.com has downloadable files for a General Lee including the push bar.

I hope that your surgery will go well and that you will recover well afterwards.

Garrett watches everyone cross the finish line and smiles as Jesse and Miz Tisdale argue with Deputy Strate. After they leave the deputy's area, he confidently walks over to them with his hands tucked in his pockets. "Well y'all," he drawls, "congrats on a great race. I haven't had that much fun, in. . ." he pauses and shrugs, "forever."

Jesse erupted " What in tarnation did ya do that fer Emmer?" Miz Tisdale smiled "Now don't you remember Jesse? You was so confident you'd finish ahead of me that you promised to take me on a date to the Hazzard Pond if I beat you." * Sounds just like them! I'm out of emojies...so....

But before Meadowmufn took sixth place the battle for fourth was fierce between Jesse and Emma. Jesse's front bumper crossed the finish line first but when he got out of the truck the race judge (Enos Strate) was already handing the fourth place trophy to Miz Tisdale... Jesse complained "Now Enos, Emmer ran a good race but I'm sure I crossed that there finish line first". Enos replied quickly "Um, I'm sorry about that Uncle Jesse but Miz Tisdale had two fishing poles tied to the front fender of her dirt bike and they stuck out so far that they crossed before your bumper." Jesse erupted " What in tarnation did ya do that fer Emmer?" Miz Tisdale smiled "Now don't you remember Jesse? You was so confident you'd finish ahead of me that you promised to take me on a date to the Hazzard Pond if I beat you." Jesse smiled, "All right Emmer you win. But yer gonna be the one cleaning and frying the fish." She smiled back "I'm okay with that. As long as I can come out to the farm to do it."

Cat One of the usual stray cats we feed my wife named Teddy because of her markings she looks like a mini bear lol.

+1 !! They never age or even grow old! Times never change in Hazzard! ( driving crazy, 8 track tapes, slower, simpler, etc.)

Good luck with that. You have some pretty stiff competition. It's Hobie's facility so he has the home track advantage. Meadowmufn is in the sheriff's car so who knows what dirty tricks those two have up their sleeves. Hoss has an F1 rocket. I have an F150 rocket. So far Skipper seems to be the only slow one. But if he unhooks the trailer the SS Minnow is on, there's no telling what he can do. I imagine Boss JD Hogg and Spike are going to be jumping in.
