Here are some drawings I did of the General Lee

When I first met Rick, it was in the 90's, so the WWW was in its infancy. When I told him about HazzardNet's predecessor (the Hazzard County Sheriff's Department on Prodigy), he was excited there was a community of fans online still discussing and enjoying the show. He told me he'd be right back and when he returned, he handed me an enormous folder of 8x10s, several of them signed. That was very generous of him. I still have them packed away from the move, but when I find them (someday), I will scan them in and put them on the site. When I mentioned where I worked at the time, we had a connection there and he told me some amazing stories. We just had an awesome conversation. He was very personable and gracious. At the Dukesfest in '01, I got to do an impromptu square dance with him and Jimmie. Good times. I would've liked to have gotten to know him better, but my health and work situations over the years didn't permit me to get to events as much as I'd have liked.

Well done, Skipper. I also remembered the scene but not the episode. Watching the scene again, I remembered that it slightly annoyed me. When Boss reveals his string of dollar signs, every other one should be mirrored if they were cut out of a single piece of paper, but they all face the same way.

Happy Halloween guys!! unfortunately, I come from a family who don't celebrate things much outside Christmas so I'm not doing anything, but my mom bought me some candy last week (which is already almost gone) and I have a cool halloween outfit on Red Dead Redemption Online! Might brave up and watch some horror movies tonight...not sure

Wow. You guys are awesome. I feel like a chooch. I made a post 5 years ago and y’all responded and I ghosted you. So, my wife planned a surprise trip to Covington, GA with the fam. Got To visit the jump sites from the first 5 episodes, meet some other cool Dukes fans AND John Schneider happened to be in town after a convention in Atlanta. Talk about an amazing day! Then, hit Cooters Garage in Pigeon Forge, TN a couple days later. Anyway, I’m totally geeking out on all things Dukes again and looking forward to checking out the forums here! I still love your artwork recreations, Hoss!

While I'm on Irish artists, I couldn't ignore Thin Lizzy. This song was written by the band's frontman Phil Lynott and guitarist Gary Moore about Lynott's newborn daughter. Phil died when I was 15, but I did get to see Limehouse Lizzy, the best known Thin Lizzy tribute act, about 25 years ago. Thin Lizzy - Sarah

We've had another week of rain here, although not too bad where I live. I don't think I've ever been close to experiencing wind chills of -30F (that's about -34.5C). At least you've got the coolest day of the year to look forward to - cool!

I play this, it has Online and Story mode, and story mode takes place in 1899 and is about an outlaw gang at the end of the wild west trying to navigate the new world and its SAD. I've watched grown men cry over it. Online mode takes place a few years before story mode starts, and it also has Red Dead Redemption 1 which takes place in the early 1900s but I dont have that yet I've also recently started playing this older PS1 (?) game on my laptop called Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. I downloaded it cause Cole Hauser was in it (love that guy), BUT HE WAS ONLY IN THE FIRST SCENE, I'm so upset. It's based on a movie called "Pitch Black" from 2000(?) and I think there's a sequel but Cole isn't in it, so I don't care to watch it Oh and sometimes I play a Harry Potter game but thats only if my bf is online and we're both bored of RDO and He wants me to play Fortnite so I might give it a try

Skyrim is a medieval style game where you get to slay dragons and go on many quests. You also accumulate money and can buy houses in different cities. You can even get married. Non of the women you can marry are as pretty as Emma Tisdale though.

Equal OPPORTUNITIES law The plot device in 'OFFICER Daisy Duke'. One of the channels here is currently airing 'The Fall Guy'. They're now up to midway through the final season (season 5), and it's quite possible that I never saw these later episodes in the '80s, and if I did it was nearly 40 years ago! Only the first two seasons have been released on DVD, so I'm taking my chance to catch up. At the beginning of the show's run, Colt took assignments from bail bondswoman Samantha "Big Jack" Jack played by Jo Ann Pflug (AKA. Helen Hogan from 'Route 7-11'). For seasons 2 to 4, the bail bondswoman was Terri Michaels played by Markie Post. What I'd forgotten/never knew is that that the bail bondswoman in the final season was Pearl played by Nedra Volz. She only actually appeared in five episodes, but she's mentioned in several others.

I don't do many long journeys, but luckily I don't recall seeing anyone doing that on my recent trip to Galway, although I'm sure it happens regularly over here. Maybe I'm imagining it, but people here seem to drive much more hesitantly lately. I thought it could be the reduced driving during the Covid lockdowns, but that was a while ago now. Sometimes I approach a junction thinking I'll easily get out because there's a huge gap, but the car in front stops dead and waits for nothing. Then there are the drivers who drive at well under the speed limit completely oblivious to the long queue behind them. That's my two cents.

I've just spent the evening at a bar (very unusual for me) listening to a couple of local guys playing live music on acoustic guitars. It was a good mix of traditional Irish songs and old favorites. What surprised me was the number of Americans at the bar. The first people I spoke to were from just across the Indiana border from Chicago, but there were three groups from California (Sacramento, San Francisco and Los Angeles), one from Seattle and another from Florida. I know where I live is a popular tourist destination, but I rarely get to speak to the visitors.

Well spotted, Webb. You seem to have a slightly wider frame than I do as my copy only extends to the lamp. Jimmie was probably meant to stop a foot or two further back when then set up the shot. There are a few other scenes in this episode that were obviously filmed in a studio. I can see a corner in the scenery in one shot, but no edges like you spotted. I noticed something else in the Boar's Nest scene. When Bo sneaks into the back of Rosco's patrol car, the driver's seat is all the way back, so there's hardly room for Bo to get his legs in. We can see the seat in this position as Rosco drives off, but we can't see Bo. When we do see Bo, he's got his whole body between the front and rear seats, so the driver's seat must be about six inches forward. I'm sure Rosco would notice that much movement - I know I would!

How about Les Seymour from 'Dukescam Scam'? We never see him, but the Dukes nearly hit him. As Waylon says: "That's Les Seymour's truck. And old Les can't even drive nails."

Jesse looks at Skipper "What in tarnation are you lookin' so glum about Skipper? You came in third place in one of the biggest races these here parts has to offer. And you did it pulling a yacht! Only a first class wheel man could have pulled that off. Not only that but you beat Emmer here. You know how fast she is on that there dirt bike." Emma responded quickly. "I'm sorry Skipper. I hate to be the one to burst your bubble but I could have passed you anytime I wanted. I just liked staying beside Jesse. He sets my heart on fast idle."

Jesse doesn't look too happy. "I'm gittin' too old for Hobie's Moonshine race. There ain't no way I'm doing this next year. It's just too chaotic and too dangerous!" After he walked away everybody smiled. Miz Tisdale laughed. "He says that every year after the race. Don't worry folks, he'll be back. Right now his pride is just hurt that I beat him."

Do you know if the shelter is a no kill or a kill shelter? If you don't know you could research it and if it's no kill that may convince them to help catch the poor kitty. That is frustrating and the poor kitty is suffering and needs help and support. I don't blame you. There are people out there worthy of your trust, but there a lot of people out there that isn't worthy. I feel most if not all animals are trust worthy. I have a water bottle that says Dogs make me happy. People make my head hurt.

Jesse gets on the CB to Skipper "This ain't looking too good Skipper. If it wasn't me who was going to win this race I was hoping you were going to. But I don't see how we can catch either one of these guys. And to make matters worse it's getting downright dangerous back here. It's starting to look like your boat hitch is starting to come loose. I'd hate to see it come undone....but it would make you faster. But the bad news is (Jesse starts singing) The Minnow would be lost...The Minnow would be lost. And it's getting dangerous on my other side too. Emma keeps staring at me and taking her eyes off the race track. I'm really starting to be sorry I agreed to this. Remind me to tell Hobie next year I'm not doing it."

random thought... does anybody know if any of the episodes aired on any ot the cast members birthdays? or possibly they "worked" on their birthday.

What are your favorite Dukes of Hazzard collectibles/memorabilia? Do you have a plethora of General Lees? Are autographed photos among your prized possessions? We want to see what Dukes of Hazzard treasures you've collected over the years.

This is a bit of a sensitive subject to me since my collection of stuff was sold at a low point in my life in 1989 when I was struggling emotionally and financially from a divorce. Of course I have bought things since then but lost my motivation to replace it all. I'll sit this one out. Don't let me spoil the fun though.

I have to disagree because the idea of any of the characters dying is something I don't even like to think about. That is why I didn't like the reunion shows. To me, Hazzard County is real and it hasn't changed since the early 80s.

I can't pick my favorites, but thats because I suck at picking favs. I like those songs too but I also kinda dig "I Need Someone to Miss" it's very sweet

You are lucky to have an awesome girlfriend like that. I can't get my wife into Dukes. She doesn't dislike it but doesn't like it enough to watch on a regular basis. Strange coincidence: She watches that Diners Drive Ins and Dives food show. Today they were at a rural restaurant and the host Guy Fieri asked if Bo and Luke Duke come in the drive thru often.

OK my fellow Hazzard citizens! ( Hazzardites!) I've got a tank full of my special Shine and I just tuned this baby up! Lord have mercy on anybody else trying to beat me!! :)

You can straighten the curves but I can flatten the hills with this souped up truck. Speaking of which, we went out for ice cream tonight and on the way down were listening to a classic country station and they played the Dukes theme. I was riding on a cloud....smiled the whole song!
