Here are some drawings I did of the General Lee

When I first met Rick, it was in the 90's, so the WWW was in its infancy. When I told him about HazzardNet's predecessor (the Hazzard County Sheriff's Department on Prodigy), he was excited there was a community of fans online still discussing and enjoying the show. He told me he'd be right back and when he returned, he handed me an enormous folder of 8x10s, several of them signed. That was very generous of him. I still have them packed away from the move, but when I find them (someday), I will scan them in and put them on the site. When I mentioned where I worked at the time, we had a connection there and he told me some amazing stories. We just had an awesome conversation. He was very personable and gracious. At the Dukesfest in '01, I got to do an impromptu square dance with him and Jimmie. Good times. I would've liked to have gotten to know him better, but my health and work situations over the years didn't permit me to get to events as much as I'd have liked.

This is it 100%. He had it open on valentines day and I drove my charger by there and hung out for awhile. Lots of good folks that I personally know came by. It's a really neat place

Merry Christmas, y'all! It's been a rough year, but I have a lot to be thankful for, especially my Hazzard cousins who have kept my spirits up. Bless you all.

Well done, Skipper. I also remembered the scene but not the episode. Watching the scene again, I remembered that it slightly annoyed me. When Boss reveals his string of dollar signs, every other one should be mirrored if they were cut out of a single piece of paper, but they all face the same way.

Happy Halloween guys!! unfortunately, I come from a family who don't celebrate things much outside Christmas so I'm not doing anything, but my mom bought me some candy last week (which is already almost gone) and I have a cool halloween outfit on Red Dead Redemption Online! Might brave up and watch some horror movies tonight...not sure

Wow. You guys are awesome. I feel like a chooch. I made a post 5 years ago and y’all responded and I ghosted you. So, my wife planned a surprise trip to Covington, GA with the fam. Got To visit the jump sites from the first 5 episodes, meet some other cool Dukes fans AND John Schneider happened to be in town after a convention in Atlanta. Talk about an amazing day! Then, hit Cooters Garage in Pigeon Forge, TN a couple days later. Anyway, I’m totally geeking out on all things Dukes again and looking forward to checking out the forums here! I still love your artwork recreations, Hoss!

Keeping his attention on the race, Garrett refuses to fall into everyone's competitive talk and pushes the pedal down farther and a hint of a smile crosses his face at feeling the great power of the engine. Sorry, I'm a little late with my Miami Grand Prix summary, but the result changed slightly after the race, so it worked out in the end. As before this season, Kimi Antonelli didn't get the best start, and was passed by Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, although Max almost immediately had a spin which lost him several places. In the opening laps, Kimi briefly retook the lead before Charles got it back, and then Lando Norris took second from Kimi. As that was happening, Isack Hadjar hit the barrier and Pierre Gasly flipped over before landing the right way up. Both drivers were fine, but it brought out the safety car. When the pit stops came around, Charles had a slow stop which slipped him back a little. By about the mid-race point, Kimi got past Lando and Max (who'd pitted earlier). In almost a mirror of Max's first lap, Charles had a spin on the last lap and lost a couple of places. At the checkered flag it was Kimi in the Mercedes in first for his third win in a row. Behind him were the McLarens of Lando and Oscar Piastri ahead of the other Mercedes of George Russell. Max fought back to fifth, and the video linked below shows Charles ending up in sixth, but a post-race penalty dropped him to eighth behind Lewis Hamilton and Franco Colapinto. The race highlights are here. There's now a 3-week gap until the Canadian Grand Prix from the Gilles Villeneuve circuit in Montreal.

F1 is finally back this weekend with the Miami Grand Prix, but I'll post about that later. First, I read the sad news earlier that Alex Zanardi died yesterday at 59 years old. The Italian driver spent a few years in F1 before moving to the US where he won the CART World Series in 1997 and 1998 with Chip Ganassi Racing. After that, he had another brief stint in F1 before returning CART. In 2001, he lost both legs in a terrible crash in Germany, and survived for nearly an hour with less than a litre (under two pints) of blood left in his body. Undaunted by the injury, he returned to various forms of motor racing., but it was racing handbikes where he really succeeded once more becoming a four-time Paralympic gold medallist and 12-time world champion. There was a minute's silence for Alex Zanardi before today's Miami F1 sprint race. There's a full article at bbc.com.

Hands up, I know nothing about archery, but I found a discussion about the Dukes of Hazzard bows at www.archerytalk.com. They said, "The original Warthog had a deerslyer [sic] 300 sight on it."

To be honest, I'm not much of a drinker, and if I have a pint it's likely to be lager or maybe ale. I don't dislike Guinness, and it does taste different here, but I can't remember the last time I had one. My friend likes the 0.0 alcohol-free Guinness which I might try sometime since I usually have my car with me.

We've had another week of rain here, although not too bad where I live. I don't think I've ever been close to experiencing wind chills of -30F (that's about -34.5C). At least you've got the coolest day of the year to look forward to - cool!

Well, I got laid off due to a client bankruptcy and the tech sector job market is pretty terrible right now. Gotta make some money and keep HazzardNet running somehow.

Black Friday makes even less sense over here because we don't have Thanksgiving. I think the madness of a few years ago has gone now. The electrical shops had a few reduced items which I'm sure they bought in specially, and several clothes shops had 20% off certain lines, but no massive bargains or fights.

I want to apologize for my swearing, I tried to censor myself best I could, but you can only be so polite when angry. I would also like to apologize for dumping all of this on you without posting much, I just wasn't sure where else to post it, people don't really interact with me much anywhere else And I want to thank all of you for your kind words. I understand that not much can help in a random forum I found, but sometimes just seeing a reply notification can help loads

In my area of NW Pennsylvania it is easy to get a job, even part time and under 18. Employers are desperate for help.. But I'm sure that's not the case everywhere. Keep looking. You'll get there if you stick with it.

I don't think there was a hawk. Rosco just needed an excuse to fire the gun while pretending to be a "numb-head". It was in 'A Baby for the Dukes'.

Well spotted, Webb. You seem to have a slightly wider frame than I do as my copy only extends to the lamp. Jimmie was probably meant to stop a foot or two further back when then set up the shot. There are a few other scenes in this episode that were obviously filmed in a studio. I can see a corner in the scenery in one shot, but no edges like you spotted. I noticed something else in the Boar's Nest scene. When Bo sneaks into the back of Rosco's patrol car, the driver's seat is all the way back, so there's hardly room for Bo to get his legs in. We can see the seat in this position as Rosco drives off, but we can't see Bo. When we do see Bo, he's got his whole body between the front and rear seats, so the driver's seat must be about six inches forward. I'm sure Rosco would notice that much movement - I know I would!

Garrett watches back from afar at everyone's emotions. "Well y'all," he finally says looking back at his car and back at them, "once I get this tire fixed, I'm off to The Boar's Nest. First round is on me if anyone wants to join." With that, he turns around and walks back to his car where he pulls out a spare tire and his equipment out from the trunk.

Jesse doesn't look too happy. "I'm gittin' too old for Hobie's Moonshine race. There ain't no way I'm doing this next year. It's just too chaotic and too dangerous!" After he walked away everybody smiled. Miz Tisdale laughed. "He says that every year after the race. Don't worry folks, he'll be back. Right now his pride is just hurt that I beat him."

Garrett is in disbelief as Hobie takes a short lead before he regains it and sees an unfamiliar car approaching before being slowed down due to what looks to be life jackets. "Thanks for the save, Skipper," he slightly smiles as he gains more of a lead over the field.

Seeing how fast Hobie and Uncle Jesse had gotten their vehicles to go fast, Garrett wonders what kind of work they put into their vehicles and why Garrett for once decided to race fair. "This is why NASCAR has all them silly rules," he mutters to himself as he momentarily holds Hobie off in hopes of making it to the finish line first.

No. They are both Cadillac Series 62s, but Grady's momma drove a 1959 model while Newtie drove a 1961.

random thought... does anybody know if any of the episodes aired on any ot the cast members birthdays? or possibly they "worked" on their birthday.

In the Austrian Grand Prix, Carlos Sainz Jnr's Williams broke down on the grid, so only 19 cars started the race. Oscar Piastri started third, but got ahead of Charles Leclerc at the first bend and spent most of the first stint right on Lando Norris' rear wing and even briefly overtook once. Canadian Grand Prix winner George Russell got past Lewis Hamilton at the start, but Hamilton retook the place be the end of the first lap. Max Verstappen was hit by Kimi Antonelli on the first lap, ending both of their races. Max's team mate, Yuki Tsunoda got a 10-second penalty later in the race for causing a collision and was the last car running at the end, so no points for Red Bull at their home track, the Red Bull Ring. It was also a bad day for Williams as their other car driven by Alex Albon had to retire from a top 10 position after 17 laps. The pit stops gave Lando a bit of breathing space at the front, but there were some good battles behind. After the second pit stops, Oscar was catching Lando, but Lando managed to hang on to the lead through the back markers and took the win for a McLaren 1-2. Oscar's lead in the drivers' championship is now down to 15 points. Ferrari finished third and fourth, and overtook Mercedes in the constructors' championship. Liam Lawson scored his best F1 finish in sixth. Liam had a bad start to the season at Red Bull and got demoted to their junior team RB (Racing Bulls). He now has two more points than Yuki Tsunoda who replaced him! Gabriel Bortoleto also had a great result scoring his first F1 points in eighth in his Sauber. You can see the race highlights here. Next week it's the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. It's the only race of the year that gets shown live here on free-to-air TV, but the weather will determine if I stay in to watch it live.

I forgot to mention 'On the Rocks'. Rick played one of the inmates in this prison-set sitcom in the mid-70s. It was based on the British sitcom 'Porridge', which coincidentally I'm watching right now. I've only ever seen a couple of clips of 'On the Rocks' - maybe it'll make it online one day.
