Here are some drawings I did of the General Lee

When I first met Rick, it was in the 90's, so the WWW was in its infancy. When I told him about HazzardNet's predecessor (the Hazzard County Sheriff's Department on Prodigy), he was excited there was a community of fans online still discussing and enjoying the show. He told me he'd be right back and when he returned, he handed me an enormous folder of 8x10s, several of them signed. That was very generous of him. I still have them packed away from the move, but when I find them (someday), I will scan them in and put them on the site. When I mentioned where I worked at the time, we had a connection there and he told me some amazing stories. We just had an awesome conversation. He was very personable and gracious. At the Dukesfest in '01, I got to do an impromptu square dance with him and Jimmie. Good times. I would've liked to have gotten to know him better, but my health and work situations over the years didn't permit me to get to events as much as I'd have liked.

Well done, Skipper. I also remembered the scene but not the episode. Watching the scene again, I remembered that it slightly annoyed me. When Boss reveals his string of dollar signs, every other one should be mirrored if they were cut out of a single piece of paper, but they all face the same way.

Happy Halloween guys!! unfortunately, I come from a family who don't celebrate things much outside Christmas so I'm not doing anything, but my mom bought me some candy last week (which is already almost gone) and I have a cool halloween outfit on Red Dead Redemption Online! Might brave up and watch some horror movies tonight...not sure

Wow. You guys are awesome. I feel like a chooch. I made a post 5 years ago and y’all responded and I ghosted you. So, my wife planned a surprise trip to Covington, GA with the fam. Got To visit the jump sites from the first 5 episodes, meet some other cool Dukes fans AND John Schneider happened to be in town after a convention in Atlanta. Talk about an amazing day! Then, hit Cooters Garage in Pigeon Forge, TN a couple days later. Anyway, I’m totally geeking out on all things Dukes again and looking forward to checking out the forums here! I still love your artwork recreations, Hoss!

True. I don't trust Meadowmufn. She's just too good of friends with the Sheriff. Speaking of which, I wonder if Rosco is going to let her drive his car in the Moonshine 400. If she does, ignore the siren. She will probably use it to trick us into slowing down.

My parents were married 67 years, just a few months shy of 68 years when dad passed. They got married at 19 (mom) and 21 (dad). I've been married almost 23 years. My oldest sister celebrates anniversary #32 this year and my other sister will celebrate #26 later this year. So, my advice would be to find someone who's been married a long time and get advice from them! Because whatever my mom and dad were doing right, it seemed to rub off on us kids. My mom always told me that the key to a long marriage was.... 2 tv sets. And for the record, all of us kids have more than 1 tv set.

I purchased a martin warthog bow a year or so ago. I have been told its in very good condition but was missing some stuff. I picked up the 8 arrow quiver but I had to purchase another old bow to get it but it is the correct one at least. A friend of mine brought me s martin deerslayer sight and I put a new arrow rest on it too. Was wondering if anyone knows exactly what sight was used on the one in the show? I got the 3 pin deerslayer sight on it now and it looks good but I don't think that was the one. Definitely a cool old school wood bow. Just trying to get as close as I can to the one on the show.

Well I haven't been here in a bit. The business we opened up wound up doing very well but taking up a lot of time as well but it is what it is. Wanted to answer the question that it isn't the one in north Carolina. I live in a small town called Plainville in Georgia, its between Rome and Calhoun. The garage/boars nest im talking about is just outside of Shannon ga towards Kingston Ga. The guy has a General Lee, a 69 F350 cooters tow truck, a daisy jeep and a hazzard patrol car. The garage is awesome and the boars nest is built to the RH side of the garage. Has the correct jukebox and pinball machine as seen from the show. Even has the machine that has the huge bands that Boss Hogg was using to shake the fat away lol. It's really neat how far he has put into it as in detail. He also has a toy section and there is alot of cool stuff there too.

Belated birthday wishes. I can't believe I forgot it this year. My only slight excuse is that it's a friend's birthday today, and I hope to see them later.

As far as I’m concerned, Dukes will always be one of the best family tv shows that ever aired, and let me say, I’m not a dad right now but I hope to be someday, and I want to share the love of Hazzard County with my kids, whether I have good ol boys or good ol girls, Hazzard is for everyone!

I would also like to apologize for dumping all of this on you without posting much, I just wasn't sure where else to post it, people don't really interact with me much anywhere else And I want to thank all of you for your kind words. Equal OPPORTUNITIES law The plot device in 'OFFICER Daisy Duke'. One of the channels here is currently airing 'The Fall Guy'. They're now up to midway through the final season (season 5), and it's quite possible that I never saw these later episodes in the '80s, and if I did it was nearly 40 years ago! Only the first two seasons have been released on DVD, so I'm taking my chance to catch up. At the beginning of the show's run, Colt took assignments from bail bondswoman Samantha "Big Jack" Jack played by Jo Ann Pflug (AKA. Helen Hogan from 'Route 7-11'). For seasons 2 to 4, the bail bondswoman was Terri Michaels played by Markie Post. What I'd forgotten/never knew is that that the bail bondswoman in the final season was Pearl played by Nedra Volz. She only actually appeared in five episodes, but she's mentioned in several others.

I don't tailgate even when the driver in front is going well under the speed limit. There's just not enough time to react if anything happens. I have also used the slowing down tactic when I've been tailgated.

I've never seen his shows (I'm not sure if they were shown over here), but I'm familiar with him through memes! It's so odd for me listening to Thomas being narrated by an American. The fictional setting of the Island of Sodor is so British (it's meant to be located in the Irish Sea between the English mainland and the Isle of Man). BTW. Last weekend marked the 80th anniversary of The Railway Stories (AKA. Thomas and Friends) - there's an article about it here. At least the music's good to dance to.

Jesse looks at Skipper "What in tarnation are you lookin' so glum about Skipper? You came in third place in one of the biggest races these here parts has to offer. And you did it pulling a yacht! Only a first class wheel man could have pulled that off. Not only that but you beat Emmer here. You know how fast she is on that there dirt bike." Emma responded quickly. "I'm sorry Skipper. I hate to be the one to burst your bubble but I could have passed you anytime I wanted. I just liked staying beside Jesse. He sets my heart on fast idle."

That is no fun. I hope you are starting to feel better.

Jesse erupted " What in tarnation did ya do that fer Emmer?" Miz Tisdale smiled "Now don't you remember Jesse? You was so confident you'd finish ahead of me that you promised to take me on a date to the Hazzard Pond if I beat you." * Sounds just like them! I'm out of emojies...so....

Watching from behind, Jesse sees Hobie take advantage of Garrett's misfortune and pull beside his car. From Jesse's view it looks like both cars crossed the finish line at the same time. The checkered flag waves. It appears Jesse won't know the winner until he finishes the race and asks. All he knows is that it looks like a photo finish. Skipper clearly has third place wrapped up. Losing to a guy pulling a yacht is a bit humiliating but Jesse is happy for Skipper. Now, there's the business of fifth place. He looks at Emma. There just might be a photo finish for fifth place too.

The show that Rick left for was "Amanda's". He played the chef, Earl Nash, at Amanda's by the Sea - a hotel run by Bea Arthur's character Amanda. The show was based on the iconic British sitcom "Fawlty Towers", but was cancelled after 13 episodes. The show also starred Fred McCarren, who was Neil Bishop in "The Big Heist". "Fawlty Towers" famously (at least on this side of The Pond) only ran for two seasons of six episodes each (six episodes is the standard season length for British sitcoms), and they were four years apart due to the stars/writers getting divorced in-between. Here's the first episode of "Amanda's". I assume by the picture quality that it hasn't been released on DVD or repeated lately. Rick appears at just over eight minutes in.

I can't pick my favorites, but thats because I suck at picking favs. I like those songs too but I also kinda dig "I Need Someone to Miss" it's very sweet

Apologies for the lateness of my F1 review - I've had a busy week! Here's what happened at last weekend's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola, Italy. The McLarens looked to have the pace all through the three free practice sessions, but could only manage first and fourth on the grid (Oscar Piastri ahead of Lando Norris). They were split by the Red Bull of Max Verstappen and the Mercedes of George Russell. Neither Ferrari made it into the top 10, which disappointed their fans so close to their factory. The other Mercedes driver, 18-year-old rookie Kimi Antonelli, grew up near the track and had invited many friends and family to the race, but could only qualify 13th. Oscar made a good start, but Max got around him almost immediately. Lando had to wait until lap 11 to pass George and set off after his team mate. Oscar pitted early, and then Lando pitted just before Esteban Ocon's car pulled off to retire from the race, bringing out a virtual safety car. That gave Max and many others an easy pit stop and shook up the order. Lewis Hamilton, who'd been stuck behind Kimi since the start, finally managed to pass him on lap 34, and continued to make progress through the field. Sadly for his local fans, Kimi had to retire on lap 46. That brought out a full safety car which allowed for more easy pit stops for some. Max held the lead at the restart and went on to win the race. Behind him, Lando and Lewis each overtook their team mates on track. Charles Leclerc briefly passed Alex Albon, but his team told him to give the place back to avoid a penalty as he pushed Alex off the road to make the move. At the flag, the top 10 were: 1 Max Verstappen 2 Lando Norris 3 Oscar Piastri 4 Lewis Hamilton 5 Alexander Albon 6 Charles Leclerc 7 George Russell 8 Carlos Sainz Jnr 9 Isack Hadjar 10 Yuki Tsunoda Lewis said it was the first time he felt at home in the Ferrari after joining the team at the start of the season. You can see the race highlights here. This weekend we're off to the historic Monaco Grand Prix in Monte Carlo.

Okay it looks like we have Hobie in the Trans Am. Garrett in a Jeff Goron NASCAR car. Me on Emma's mail motorcycle. Skipper pulling the SSMinnow with an F-350 dually. MM in Rosco's sheriff's car. Hoss in an orange F1 car. Boss, Spike, others, ya in? If we don't hear from people they're gittin' flat tires as soon as the race starts....but they will be starting.

So, how does this work Hobie, can I enter a dirtbike, Hoss enter an F1 car, Garrett enter a NASCAR #24 car? ETC ETC? Can Skipper enter the SS Minnow or does it have to be on wheels, like maybe a flatbed semi pulling the SS Minnow? Can we pick our own colors or do they have to all be red because you can't see any other color?

I don't think Hoss is human. I think think he's artificial intelligence. No human could be that smart.

Anyone on here remember the show Hee Haw? Presented by Buck Owens & Roy Clarke, and featuring a great variety cast and awesome sketch comedy. Back in the good old days when the whole family could gather round the television.. I may just be 23, but discovering the show on YouTube and then finding a channel that airs reruns in Canada really got me onto it!
