Here are some drawings I did of the General Lee

When I first met Rick, it was in the 90's, so the WWW was in its infancy. When I told him about HazzardNet's predecessor (the Hazzard County Sheriff's Department on Prodigy), he was excited there was a community of fans online still discussing and enjoying the show. He told me he'd be right back and when he returned, he handed me an enormous folder of 8x10s, several of them signed. That was very generous of him. I still have them packed away from the move, but when I find them (someday), I will scan them in and put them on the site. When I mentioned where I worked at the time, we had a connection there and he told me some amazing stories. We just had an awesome conversation. He was very personable and gracious. At the Dukesfest in '01, I got to do an impromptu square dance with him and Jimmie. Good times. I would've liked to have gotten to know him better, but my health and work situations over the years didn't permit me to get to events as much as I'd have liked.

Well done, Skipper. I also remembered the scene but not the episode. Watching the scene again, I remembered that it slightly annoyed me. When Boss reveals his string of dollar signs, every other one should be mirrored if they were cut out of a single piece of paper, but they all face the same way.

Happy Halloween guys!! unfortunately, I come from a family who don't celebrate things much outside Christmas so I'm not doing anything, but my mom bought me some candy last week (which is already almost gone) and I have a cool halloween outfit on Red Dead Redemption Online! Might brave up and watch some horror movies tonight...not sure

Wow. You guys are awesome. I feel like a chooch. I made a post 5 years ago and y’all responded and I ghosted you. So, my wife planned a surprise trip to Covington, GA with the fam. Got To visit the jump sites from the first 5 episodes, meet some other cool Dukes fans AND John Schneider happened to be in town after a convention in Atlanta. Talk about an amazing day! Then, hit Cooters Garage in Pigeon Forge, TN a couple days later. Anyway, I’m totally geeking out on all things Dukes again and looking forward to checking out the forums here! I still love your artwork recreations, Hoss!

My parents were married 67 years, just a few months shy of 68 years when dad passed. They got married at 19 (mom) and 21 (dad). I've been married almost 23 years. My oldest sister celebrates anniversary #32 this year and my other sister will celebrate #26 later this year. So, my advice would be to find someone who's been married a long time and get advice from them! Because whatever my mom and dad were doing right, it seemed to rub off on us kids. My mom always told me that the key to a long marriage was.... 2 tv sets. And for the record, all of us kids have more than 1 tv set.

While I'm on Irish artists, I couldn't ignore Thin Lizzy. This song was written by the band's frontman Phil Lynott and guitarist Gary Moore about Lynott's newborn daughter. Phil died when I was 15, but I did get to see Limehouse Lizzy, the best known Thin Lizzy tribute act, about 25 years ago. Thin Lizzy - Sarah

I don't tailgate even when the driver in front is going well under the speed limit. There's just not enough time to react if anything happens. I have also used the slowing down tactic when I've been tailgated.

I've never seen his shows (I'm not sure if they were shown over here), but I'm familiar with him through memes! It's so odd for me listening to Thomas being narrated by an American. The fictional setting of the Island of Sodor is so British (it's meant to be located in the Irish Sea between the English mainland and the Isle of Man). BTW. Last weekend marked the 80th anniversary of The Railway Stories (AKA. Thomas and Friends) - there's an article about it here. At least the music's good to dance to.

Do you know if the shelter is a no kill or a kill shelter? If you don't know you could research it and if it's no kill that may convince them to help catch the poor kitty. That is frustrating and the poor kitty is suffering and needs help and support. I don't blame you. There are people out there worthy of your trust, but there a lot of people out there that isn't worthy. I feel most if not all animals are trust worthy. I have a water bottle that says Dogs make me happy. People make my head hurt.

No. They are both Cadillac Series 62s, but Grady's momma drove a 1959 model while Newtie drove a 1961.

The ages of the characters are never revealed (except for Abraham Lincoln Hogg by his driver's licence, and therefore his twin brother, Boss), but the subject has been discussed a few times before. Here are three threads to get you started: Ages of dukes I have a question??? What were the real ages of cast? Anyone know? Aside from the flashback episodes ('Go West, Young Dukes' and 'Happy Birthday, General Lee'), and the shown-out-of-order season 2 episodes, I think Dukes ran chronologically, although not many storylines crossed episodes or seasons. An example of this is T.C. Rogers becoming Supervisory Administrator of Hazzard County in 'People's Choice' (S2E11), but then she was never mentioned again. Of course, the 2005/2007 movies completely ignored the canon of the TV series, but that's another story!

I have to disagree because the idea of any of the characters dying is something I don't even like to think about. That is why I didn't like the reunion shows. To me, Hazzard County is real and it hasn't changed since the early 80s.

You are lucky to have an awesome girlfriend like that. I can't get my wife into Dukes. She doesn't dislike it but doesn't like it enough to watch on a regular basis. Strange coincidence: She watches that Diners Drive Ins and Dives food show. Today they were at a rural restaurant and the host Guy Fieri asked if Bo and Luke Duke come in the drive thru often.

I don't know but I've heard Cooter has done something to his wrecker...souped it up or something......you guys watch out for him. I'm still wondering what in the name of Hazzard, Uncle Jesse's done to his truck. He had to do something, to make his truck able to compete! souped it up, got another engine or something!

I'm still deciding if I should ride the dirt bike or the white Ford F-150. Might not decide until the last minute. How many days before the race HH?

The trio correctly identified the square as the filming location of 'The Music Man' and 'The Gilmore Girls' (both already mentioned in this thread), and then Cathy says "and then didn't they film, um, Opie, uh, what's that, not Happy Days, um ...". She never finished the sentence and never mentioned Andy Griffiths, but it's fair to assume that that's what she was referring to as Ron Howard's character was Opie Taylor (and he was in 'Happy Days'). Exteriors for "The Andy Griffith Show" were mainly filmed at the RKO 40 Acres/Desilu backlot in Culver City, about 45 minutes south of the Warner Bros' backlot. I can't find any evidence of Andy Griffith filming in Burbank. The video below shows what's now standing where the backlots were, and mentions several other shows and movies that were filmed there. It also shows the former Desilu Studios in Hollywood. There's a brief Dukes tie-in at around 12:32 when they show a still of James Best from the 1959 movie 'Verboten!'.
