Here are some drawings I did of the General Lee

When I first met Rick, it was in the 90's, so the WWW was in its infancy. When I told him about HazzardNet's predecessor (the Hazzard County Sheriff's Department on Prodigy), he was excited there was a community of fans online still discussing and enjoying the show. He told me he'd be right back and when he returned, he handed me an enormous folder of 8x10s, several of them signed. That was very generous of him. I still have them packed away from the move, but when I find them (someday), I will scan them in and put them on the site. When I mentioned where I worked at the time, we had a connection there and he told me some amazing stories. We just had an awesome conversation. He was very personable and gracious. At the Dukesfest in '01, I got to do an impromptu square dance with him and Jimmie. Good times. I would've liked to have gotten to know him better, but my health and work situations over the years didn't permit me to get to events as much as I'd have liked.

Well done, Skipper. I also remembered the scene but not the episode. Watching the scene again, I remembered that it slightly annoyed me. When Boss reveals his string of dollar signs, every other one should be mirrored if they were cut out of a single piece of paper, but they all face the same way.

Happy Halloween guys!! unfortunately, I come from a family who don't celebrate things much outside Christmas so I'm not doing anything, but my mom bought me some candy last week (which is already almost gone) and I have a cool halloween outfit on Red Dead Redemption Online! Might brave up and watch some horror movies tonight...not sure

Wow. You guys are awesome. I feel like a chooch. I made a post 5 years ago and y’all responded and I ghosted you. So, my wife planned a surprise trip to Covington, GA with the fam. Got To visit the jump sites from the first 5 episodes, meet some other cool Dukes fans AND John Schneider happened to be in town after a convention in Atlanta. Talk about an amazing day! Then, hit Cooters Garage in Pigeon Forge, TN a couple days later. Anyway, I’m totally geeking out on all things Dukes again and looking forward to checking out the forums here! I still love your artwork recreations, Hoss!

True. I don't trust Meadowmufn. She's just too good of friends with the Sheriff. Speaking of which, I wonder if Rosco is going to let her drive his car in the Moonshine 400. If she does, ignore the siren. She will probably use it to trick us into slowing down.

I purchased a martin warthog bow a year or so ago. I have been told its in very good condition but was missing some stuff. I picked up the 8 arrow quiver but I had to purchase another old bow to get it but it is the correct one at least. A friend of mine brought me s martin deerslayer sight and I put a new arrow rest on it too. Was wondering if anyone knows exactly what sight was used on the one in the show? I got the 3 pin deerslayer sight on it now and it looks good but I don't think that was the one. Definitely a cool old school wood bow. Just trying to get as close as I can to the one on the show.

Hands up, I know nothing about archery, but I found a discussion about the Dukes of Hazzard bows at www.archerytalk.com. They said, "The original Warthog had a deerslyer [sic] 300 sight on it."

Equal OPPORTUNITIES law The plot device in 'OFFICER Daisy Duke'. One of the channels here is currently airing 'The Fall Guy'. They're now up to midway through the final season (season 5), and it's quite possible that I never saw these later episodes in the '80s, and if I did it was nearly 40 years ago! Only the first two seasons have been released on DVD, so I'm taking my chance to catch up. At the beginning of the show's run, Colt took assignments from bail bondswoman Samantha "Big Jack" Jack played by Jo Ann Pflug (AKA. Helen Hogan from 'Route 7-11'). For seasons 2 to 4, the bail bondswoman was Terri Michaels played by Markie Post. What I'd forgotten/never knew is that that the bail bondswoman in the final season was Pearl played by Nedra Volz. She only actually appeared in five episodes, but she's mentioned in several others.

Thus ends the 2025 Moonshine 400. The other racers gather around winner Garrett and hoist him up on their shoulders to carry him to the Boar's Nest.

Not a fan. Tractors replace mules and I'd rather plow the back 40 with Maudeen.

Jesse doesn't look too happy. "I'm gittin' too old for Hobie's Moonshine race. There ain't no way I'm doing this next year. It's just too chaotic and too dangerous!" After he walked away everybody smiled. Miz Tisdale laughed. "He says that every year after the race. Don't worry folks, he'll be back. Right now his pride is just hurt that I beat him."

Jesse erupted " What in tarnation did ya do that fer Emmer?" Miz Tisdale smiled "Now don't you remember Jesse? You was so confident you'd finish ahead of me that you promised to take me on a date to the Hazzard Pond if I beat you." * Sounds just like them! I'm out of emojies...so....

Jesse gets on the CB to Skipper "This ain't looking too good Skipper. If it wasn't me who was going to win this race I was hoping you were going to. But I don't see how we can catch either one of these guys. And to make matters worse it's getting downright dangerous back here. It's starting to look like your boat hitch is starting to come loose. I'd hate to see it come undone....but it would make you faster. But the bad news is (Jesse starts singing) The Minnow would be lost...The Minnow would be lost. And it's getting dangerous on my other side too. Emma keeps staring at me and taking her eyes off the race track. I'm really starting to be sorry I agreed to this. Remind me to tell Hobie next year I'm not doing it."

No. They are both Cadillac Series 62s, but Grady's momma drove a 1959 model while Newtie drove a 1961.

In the Austrian Grand Prix, Carlos Sainz Jnr's Williams broke down on the grid, so only 19 cars started the race. Oscar Piastri started third, but got ahead of Charles Leclerc at the first bend and spent most of the first stint right on Lando Norris' rear wing and even briefly overtook once. Canadian Grand Prix winner George Russell got past Lewis Hamilton at the start, but Hamilton retook the place be the end of the first lap. Max Verstappen was hit by Kimi Antonelli on the first lap, ending both of their races. Max's team mate, Yuki Tsunoda got a 10-second penalty later in the race for causing a collision and was the last car running at the end, so no points for Red Bull at their home track, the Red Bull Ring. It was also a bad day for Williams as their other car driven by Alex Albon had to retire from a top 10 position after 17 laps. The pit stops gave Lando a bit of breathing space at the front, but there were some good battles behind. After the second pit stops, Oscar was catching Lando, but Lando managed to hang on to the lead through the back markers and took the win for a McLaren 1-2. Oscar's lead in the drivers' championship is now down to 15 points. Ferrari finished third and fourth, and overtook Mercedes in the constructors' championship. Liam Lawson scored his best F1 finish in sixth. Liam had a bad start to the season at Red Bull and got demoted to their junior team RB (Racing Bulls). He now has two more points than Yuki Tsunoda who replaced him! Gabriel Bortoleto also had a great result scoring his first F1 points in eighth in his Sauber. You can see the race highlights here. Next week it's the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. It's the only race of the year that gets shown live here on free-to-air TV, but the weather will determine if I stay in to watch it live.

I forgot to mention 'On the Rocks'. Rick played one of the inmates in this prison-set sitcom in the mid-70s. It was based on the British sitcom 'Porridge', which coincidentally I'm watching right now. I've only ever seen a couple of clips of 'On the Rocks' - maybe it'll make it online one day. Hello, late reply and actually my first reply. I’m relatively new to this site but I’ve been a Dukes Fan for as long as I can remember! I am from Eastern Ontario, doesn’t look like there are many of us around here. I just made my first Trip in April to Cooters in Luray, Virginia. Sadly I haven’t meet any of the Cast Members the timing just didn’t work out, but I did get a hat signed by Ben Jones!

This is a bit of a sensitive subject to me since my collection of stuff was sold at a low point in my life in 1989 when I was struggling emotionally and financially from a divorce. Of course I have bought things since then but lost my motivation to replace it all. I'll sit this one out. Don't let me spoil the fun though.

Apologies for the lateness of my F1 review - I've had a busy week! Here's what happened at last weekend's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola, Italy. The McLarens looked to have the pace all through the three free practice sessions, but could only manage first and fourth on the grid (Oscar Piastri ahead of Lando Norris). They were split by the Red Bull of Max Verstappen and the Mercedes of George Russell. Neither Ferrari made it into the top 10, which disappointed their fans so close to their factory. The other Mercedes driver, 18-year-old rookie Kimi Antonelli, grew up near the track and had invited many friends and family to the race, but could only qualify 13th. Oscar made a good start, but Max got around him almost immediately. Lando had to wait until lap 11 to pass George and set off after his team mate. Oscar pitted early, and then Lando pitted just before Esteban Ocon's car pulled off to retire from the race, bringing out a virtual safety car. That gave Max and many others an easy pit stop and shook up the order. Lewis Hamilton, who'd been stuck behind Kimi since the start, finally managed to pass him on lap 34, and continued to make progress through the field. Sadly for his local fans, Kimi had to retire on lap 46. That brought out a full safety car which allowed for more easy pit stops for some. Max held the lead at the restart and went on to win the race. Behind him, Lando and Lewis each overtook their team mates on track. Charles Leclerc briefly passed Alex Albon, but his team told him to give the place back to avoid a penalty as he pushed Alex off the road to make the move. At the flag, the top 10 were: 1 Max Verstappen 2 Lando Norris 3 Oscar Piastri 4 Lewis Hamilton 5 Alexander Albon 6 Charles Leclerc 7 George Russell 8 Carlos Sainz Jnr 9 Isack Hadjar 10 Yuki Tsunoda Lewis said it was the first time he felt at home in the Ferrari after joining the team at the start of the season. You can see the race highlights here. This weekend we're off to the historic Monaco Grand Prix in Monte Carlo.

I'm still deciding if I should ride the dirt bike or the white Ford F-150. Might not decide until the last minute. How many days before the race HH?

Okay it looks like we have Hobie in the Trans Am. Garrett in a Jeff Goron NASCAR car. Me on Emma's mail motorcycle. Skipper pulling the SSMinnow with an F-350 dually. MM in Rosco's sheriff's car. Hoss in an orange F1 car. Boss, Spike, others, ya in? If we don't hear from people they're gittin' flat tires as soon as the race starts....but they will be starting.

All right. Garrett is in. It wouldn't be a Moonshine 400 without Garrett. If we don't get confirmation from MM we are just putting her in Rosco's patrol car and we'll put Hoss in an orange F1 car.

Oooo I wanna race the NASCAR 24 car!!! Flames and all!

I don't think Hoss is human. I think think he's artificial intelligence. No human could be that smart.
