Here are some drawings I did of the General Lee

When I first met Rick, it was in the 90's, so the WWW was in its infancy. When I told him about HazzardNet's predecessor (the Hazzard County Sheriff's Department on Prodigy), he was excited there was a community of fans online still discussing and enjoying the show. He told me he'd be right back and when he returned, he handed me an enormous folder of 8x10s, several of them signed. That was very generous of him. I still have them packed away from the move, but when I find them (someday), I will scan them in and put them on the site. When I mentioned where I worked at the time, we had a connection there and he told me some amazing stories. We just had an awesome conversation. He was very personable and gracious. At the Dukesfest in '01, I got to do an impromptu square dance with him and Jimmie. Good times. I would've liked to have gotten to know him better, but my health and work situations over the years didn't permit me to get to events as much as I'd have liked.

That was Sleepy City in 'Go West, Young Dukes'.

Happy Halloween guys!! unfortunately, I come from a family who don't celebrate things much outside Christmas so I'm not doing anything, but my mom bought me some candy last week (which is already almost gone) and I have a cool halloween outfit on Red Dead Redemption Online! Might brave up and watch some horror movies tonight...not sure

Wow. You guys are awesome. I feel like a chooch. I made a post 5 years ago and y’all responded and I ghosted you. So, my wife planned a surprise trip to Covington, GA with the fam. Got To visit the jump sites from the first 5 episodes, meet some other cool Dukes fans AND John Schneider happened to be in town after a convention in Atlanta. Talk about an amazing day! Then, hit Cooters Garage in Pigeon Forge, TN a couple days later. Anyway, I’m totally geeking out on all things Dukes again and looking forward to checking out the forums here! I still love your artwork recreations, Hoss!

Hello! I figured since I might be drawing fanart more often that it would be a better idea to have one thread/topic than to post it all on it's own every time, and I have a really good piece to start it with. It's a drawing I did of Bo with a horse. The song "My Rifle, My Pony and Me" kept coming up on Spotify and I got really inspired for some reason, so I drew the song. (except the rifle, I didn't want to render that much metal AND wood) My friend is a horse girl and she said that Bo would have a Chestnut Quarter Horse Mare named Miss Joanne. It's my biggest project ever, with the multiple subjects and more body than just the head. I had a lot of fun with it, adding a bunch of little details that I'm sure most of them won't be found partially due to the bad quality I had to upload it in so it could fit, but I also think the bigger ones won't be understood. I'm not saying you guys are dumb, I'm saying that I probably didn't make it understandable as a reference and made it look more like just a design choice or a coincidence. Also, apologies for not posting/commenting anything, I haven't known what to say. The only dukes thing I've done/seen/thought of besides this drawing, is I made a wallpaper and lockscreen for a friend. I swear I haven't forgotten about this forum, and I'm still a fan!

I've been here 18 years and have 15,500 posts and I still have no clue what I'm doing. The HazzardNet is a lot like Hazzard....total chaos. If it wasn't it would be boring. We are happy to have you Davy and hope you stay a long time. Do you have a favorite character?

True. I don't trust Meadowmufn. She's just too good of friends with the Sheriff. Speaking of which, I wonder if Rosco is going to let her drive his car in the Moonshine 400. If she does, ignore the siren. She will probably use it to trick us into slowing down.

My parents were married 67 years, just a few months shy of 68 years when dad passed. They got married at 19 (mom) and 21 (dad). I've been married almost 23 years. My oldest sister celebrates anniversary #32 this year and my other sister will celebrate #26 later this year. So, my advice would be to find someone who's been married a long time and get advice from them! Because whatever my mom and dad were doing right, it seemed to rub off on us kids. My mom always told me that the key to a long marriage was.... 2 tv sets. And for the record, all of us kids have more than 1 tv set.

As I mentioned on the previous page, it would also have been my mother's birthday today, so I've been remembering her.

Skyrim is a medieval style game where you get to slay dragons and go on many quests. You also accumulate money and can buy houses in different cities. You can even get married. Non of the women you can marry are as pretty as Emma Tisdale though.

In my area of NW Pennsylvania it is easy to get a job, even part time and under 18. Employers are desperate for help.. But I'm sure that's not the case everywhere. Keep looking. You'll get there if you stick with it.

I was just watching a season 3 episode of The Fall Guy called 'Pirates of Nashville'. The main storyline was about bootlegged Country records, so Colt and gang had to fly to Nashville and visit The Grand Ole Opry. The first singer they met was Dottie West - one of Boss' Celebrity Speed Trap victims. A couple of others like Mickey Gilley were mentioned, but not seen. Then Charlie Daniels and his band showed up to perform 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia'. The episode also featured Miriam Byrd-Nethery who appeared in two episodes of Dukes. The episode finished with Colt losing a bet and having to sing the show's theme song which was portrayed as having been written by Howie. I'm no expert on Tennessee geography, but the street signs in the urban car chase looked suspiciously like the ones in LA, and the out-of-town chase went down roads lined with white fencing that were very like the ones often seen in Dukes (e.g. W Potrero Road in Westlake Village).

Well spotted, Webb. You seem to have a slightly wider frame than I do as my copy only extends to the lamp. Jimmie was probably meant to stop a foot or two further back when then set up the shot. There are a few other scenes in this episode that were obviously filmed in a studio. I can see a corner in the scenery in one shot, but no edges like you spotted. I noticed something else in the Boar's Nest scene. When Bo sneaks into the back of Rosco's patrol car, the driver's seat is all the way back, so there's hardly room for Bo to get his legs in. We can see the seat in this position as Rosco drives off, but we can't see Bo. When we do see Bo, he's got his whole body between the front and rear seats, so the driver's seat must be about six inches forward. I'm sure Rosco would notice that much movement - I know I would!

Jesse looks at Skipper "What in tarnation are you lookin' so glum about Skipper? You came in third place in one of the biggest races these here parts has to offer. And you did it pulling a yacht! Only a first class wheel man could have pulled that off. Not only that but you beat Emmer here. You know how fast she is on that there dirt bike." Emma responded quickly. "I'm sorry Skipper. I hate to be the one to burst your bubble but I could have passed you anytime I wanted. I just liked staying beside Jesse. He sets my heart on fast idle."

Hobie slides in directly after and looks around wondering what happened to Meadow! He's glad everybody made it safely but his concern over Meadow ........wait! There she is! She just pulled in! ( He was worried! )

Do you know if the shelter is a no kill or a kill shelter? If you don't know you could research it and if it's no kill that may convince them to help catch the poor kitty. That is frustrating and the poor kitty is suffering and needs help and support. I don't blame you. There are people out there worthy of your trust, but there a lot of people out there that isn't worthy. I feel most if not all animals are trust worthy. I have a water bottle that says Dogs make me happy. People make my head hurt.

Garrett is in disbelief as Hobie takes a short lead before he regains it and sees an unfamiliar car approaching before being slowed down due to what looks to be life jackets. "Thanks for the save, Skipper," he slightly smiles as he gains more of a lead over the field.

Jesse gets on the CB to Skipper "This ain't looking too good Skipper. If it wasn't me who was going to win this race I was hoping you were going to. But I don't see how we can catch either one of these guys. And to make matters worse it's getting downright dangerous back here. It's starting to look like your boat hitch is starting to come loose. I'd hate to see it come undone....but it would make you faster. But the bad news is (Jesse starts singing) The Minnow would be lost...The Minnow would be lost. And it's getting dangerous on my other side too. Emma keeps staring at me and taking her eyes off the race track. I'm really starting to be sorry I agreed to this. Remind me to tell Hobie next year I'm not doing it."

random thought... does anybody know if any of the episodes aired on any ot the cast members birthdays? or possibly they "worked" on their birthday.

I forgot to mention 'On the Rocks'. Rick played one of the inmates in this prison-set sitcom in the mid-70s. It was based on the British sitcom 'Porridge', which coincidentally I'm watching right now. I've only ever seen a couple of clips of 'On the Rocks' - maybe it'll make it online one day. Aside from the flashback episodes ('Go West, Young Dukes' and 'Happy Birthday, General Lee'), and the shown-out-of-order season 2 episodes, I think Dukes ran chronologically, although not many storylines crossed episodes or seasons. An example of this is T.C. Rogers becoming Supervisory Administrator of Hazzard County in 'People's Choice' (S2E11), but then she was never mentioned again. Of course, the 2005/2007 movies completely ignored the canon of the TV series, but that's another story!

I dont remember exactly but the Generals 8th birthday seems correct.

You can straighten the curves but I can flatten the hills with this souped up truck. Speaking of which, we went out for ice cream tonight and on the way down were listening to a classic country station and they played the Dukes theme. I was riding on a cloud....smiled the whole song!

Okay but it has to have wheels. You pulling it with something? That's 3. If other people don't enter we should enter them anyways and then to punish them for not participating we'll just give them flat tires early in the race!

So, how does this work Hobie, can I enter a dirtbike, Hoss enter an F1 car, Garrett enter a NASCAR #24 car? ETC ETC? Can Skipper enter the SS Minnow or does it have to be on wheels, like maybe a flatbed semi pulling the SS Minnow? Can we pick our own colors or do they have to all be red because you can't see any other color?

my advice.....DON'T DO IT!!! It's like smoking....don't even start!! Studies have shown that dating leads to marriage and that marriage, in this country, is the leading cause of divorce! ( Don't believe me?? Think on this!.....100% of the people you know that are divorced, at one time, were married! It's the 2nd biggest mistake I ever made in my life!

I used to like the sign in the bar just outside Boss' office that said "I would give all my fame for a pot of ale and safety.", but that doesn't answer your question. BTW. It's a quote from Shakespeare's Henry V, Act III, Scene 2.

Ok. I FINALLY got around to this. Recovering well from surgery, but I've been spending more time in my recliner than I have been online. 😃 As usual, let me know if you have any problems from the upgrade.

Casino I've certainly heard of it over here, although I may not always use it correctly. With me and my friends, it may be said when someone wins something or gets some kind of bonus or bigger share, but we also say it when someone's actually having chicken for dinner. The source of the phrase is disputed, but it's thought to be linked to gamblers in the US in the 1920s or 1930s. One version says that chicken dinners in a Las Vegas casino were $2, which was also the price of a standard bet - if you won your bet, you got your chicken dinner. I'm not sure how it crossed the Atlantic, but it was most likely in movies and TV shows.

I think I figured out the reason as to why I like Daisy so much now, it's deep so I won't get into it without being asked to, but UGH, Daisy is so pretty I love her, I don't know which one I want more, to be her sister/best friend or to be her/look like her... she's.... she's everything to me
