Here are some drawings I did of the General Lee

When I first met Rick, it was in the 90's, so the WWW was in its infancy. When I told him about HazzardNet's predecessor (the Hazzard County Sheriff's Department on Prodigy), he was excited there was a community of fans online still discussing and enjoying the show. He told me he'd be right back and when he returned, he handed me an enormous folder of 8x10s, several of them signed. That was very generous of him. I still have them packed away from the move, but when I find them (someday), I will scan them in and put them on the site. When I mentioned where I worked at the time, we had a connection there and he told me some amazing stories. We just had an awesome conversation. He was very personable and gracious. At the Dukesfest in '01, I got to do an impromptu square dance with him and Jimmie. Good times. I would've liked to have gotten to know him better, but my health and work situations over the years didn't permit me to get to events as much as I'd have liked.

All of my photos on here are posted using an external image hosting site. There are many to choose from, and most offer a limited amount of free hosting.

Well done, Skipper. I also remembered the scene but not the episode. Watching the scene again, I remembered that it slightly annoyed me. When Boss reveals his string of dollar signs, every other one should be mirrored if they were cut out of a single piece of paper, but they all face the same way.

Happy Halloween guys!! unfortunately, I come from a family who don't celebrate things much outside Christmas so I'm not doing anything, but my mom bought me some candy last week (which is already almost gone) and I have a cool halloween outfit on Red Dead Redemption Online! Might brave up and watch some horror movies tonight...not sure

Wow. You guys are awesome. I feel like a chooch. I made a post 5 years ago and y’all responded and I ghosted you. So, my wife planned a surprise trip to Covington, GA with the fam. Got To visit the jump sites from the first 5 episodes, meet some other cool Dukes fans AND John Schneider happened to be in town after a convention in Atlanta. Talk about an amazing day! Then, hit Cooters Garage in Pigeon Forge, TN a couple days later. Anyway, I’m totally geeking out on all things Dukes again and looking forward to checking out the forums here! I still love your artwork recreations, Hoss!

True. I don't trust Meadowmufn. She's just too good of friends with the Sheriff. Speaking of which, I wonder if Rosco is going to let her drive his car in the Moonshine 400. If she does, ignore the siren. She will probably use it to trick us into slowing down.

My parents were married 67 years, just a few months shy of 68 years when dad passed. They got married at 19 (mom) and 21 (dad). I've been married almost 23 years. My oldest sister celebrates anniversary #32 this year and my other sister will celebrate #26 later this year. So, my advice would be to find someone who's been married a long time and get advice from them! Because whatever my mom and dad were doing right, it seemed to rub off on us kids. My mom always told me that the key to a long marriage was.... 2 tv sets. And for the record, all of us kids have more than 1 tv set.

As I mentioned on the previous page, it would also have been my mother's birthday today, so I've been remembering her.

As far as I’m concerned, Dukes will always be one of the best family tv shows that ever aired, and let me say, I’m not a dad right now but I hope to be someday, and I want to share the love of Hazzard County with my kids, whether I have good ol boys or good ol girls, Hazzard is for everyone!

Well I just got back from a visit to the best little spot in our county, my local Boars Nest. Awfully quiet for a Sunday though.

Black Friday makes even less sense over here because we don't have Thanksgiving. I think the madness of a few years ago has gone now. The electrical shops had a few reduced items which I'm sure they bought in specially, and several clothes shops had 20% off certain lines, but no massive bargains or fights.

In my area of NW Pennsylvania it is easy to get a job, even part time and under 18. Employers are desperate for help.. But I'm sure that's not the case everywhere. Keep looking. You'll get there if you stick with it.

Equal OPPORTUNITIES law The plot device in 'OFFICER Daisy Duke'. One of the channels here is currently airing 'The Fall Guy'. They're now up to midway through the final season (season 5), and it's quite possible that I never saw these later episodes in the '80s, and if I did it was nearly 40 years ago! Only the first two seasons have been released on DVD, so I'm taking my chance to catch up. At the beginning of the show's run, Colt took assignments from bail bondswoman Samantha "Big Jack" Jack played by Jo Ann Pflug (AKA. Helen Hogan from 'Route 7-11'). For seasons 2 to 4, the bail bondswoman was Terri Michaels played by Markie Post. What I'd forgotten/never knew is that that the bail bondswoman in the final season was Pearl played by Nedra Volz. She only actually appeared in five episodes, but she's mentioned in several others.

Hobie slides in directly after and looks around wondering what happened to Meadow! He's glad everybody made it safely but his concern over Meadow ........wait! There she is! She just pulled in! ( He was worried! )

Garrett is in disbelief as Hobie takes a short lead before he regains it and sees an unfamiliar car approaching before being slowed down due to what looks to be life jackets. "Thanks for the save, Skipper," he slightly smiles as he gains more of a lead over the field.

No. They are both Cadillac Series 62s, but Grady's momma drove a 1959 model while Newtie drove a 1961.

I can’t believe it in a sense, but there it is. Rick Hurst has crossed the creek on that rainbow bridge, now not only reunited with his kinfolk, but also a lot of the Dukes family who’ve gone on before him. The ages of the characters are never revealed (except for Abraham Lincoln Hogg by his driver's licence, and therefore his twin brother, Boss), but the subject has been discussed a few times before. Here are three threads to get you started: Ages of dukes I have a question??? What were the real ages of cast? Anyone know? Aside from the flashback episodes ('Go West, Young Dukes' and 'Happy Birthday, General Lee'), and the shown-out-of-order season 2 episodes, I think Dukes ran chronologically, although not many storylines crossed episodes or seasons. An example of this is T.C. Rogers becoming Supervisory Administrator of Hazzard County in 'People's Choice' (S2E11), but then she was never mentioned again. Of course, the 2005/2007 movies completely ignored the canon of the TV series, but that's another story!

Good luck with that. You have some pretty stiff competition. It's Hobie's facility so he has the home track advantage. Meadowmufn is in the sheriff's car so who knows what dirty tricks those two have up their sleeves. Hoss has an F1 rocket. I have an F150 rocket. So far Skipper seems to be the only slow one. But if he unhooks the trailer the SS Minnow is on, there's no telling what he can do. I imagine Boss JD Hogg and Spike are going to be jumping in.

The trio correctly identified the square as the filming location of 'The Music Man' and 'The Gilmore Girls' (both already mentioned in this thread), and then Cathy says "and then didn't they film, um, Opie, uh, what's that, not Happy Days, um ...". She never finished the sentence and never mentioned Andy Griffiths, but it's fair to assume that that's what she was referring to as Ron Howard's character was Opie Taylor (and he was in 'Happy Days'). Exteriors for "The Andy Griffith Show" were mainly filmed at the RKO 40 Acres/Desilu backlot in Culver City, about 45 minutes south of the Warner Bros' backlot. I can't find any evidence of Andy Griffith filming in Burbank. The video below shows what's now standing where the backlots were, and mentions several other shows and movies that were filmed there. It also shows the former Desilu Studios in Hollywood. There's a brief Dukes tie-in at around 12:32 when they show a still of James Best from the 1959 movie 'Verboten!'.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I have a splash of Irish from my mom's side. I am always wearing green because I have green eyes (my overwhelmingly Scottish heritage).

I'm now thinking about starting my own Heavy Metal band and calling it, " Cutler and Monday!" LOL! ......sounds kinda like one, huh?

To me, it wouldn't feel like HazzardNet with a different color scheme.
