I don't think there was a hawk. Rosco just needed an excuse to fire the gun while pretending to be a "numb-head". It was in 'A Baby for the Dukes'.3 points

I've never seen his shows (I'm not sure if they were shown over here), but I'm familiar with him through memes! It's so odd for me listening to Thomas being narrated by an American. The fictional setting of the Island of Sodor is so British (it's meant to be located in the Irish Sea between the English mainland and the Isle of Man). BTW. Last weekend marked the 80th anniversary of The Railway Stories (AKA. Thomas and Friends) - there's an article about it here. At least the music's good to dance to.3 points

Your Opinion On What Episode Boss Came The Closest To Getting The Dukes' Farm
Skipper Duke and one other reacted to Hobie Hartkins for a topic
Of all the episodes, I think he came closest on " The Duke Scam-Scam" There are one or two others that came pretty close though, so, just my opinion. What do you guys think? Hey! I know! What about the one where they go back to the farm and the crooks are looking for them in their helicopter? Remember?2 points -

Rosco was in the back seat of the bad guy's car and wanted to warn the Dukes they were in danger because the bad guys were following them. So he shot in the air to warn them but pretended he was stupid and doing something else. "That's that chicken hawk that's been killing all them chickens!" Now that I think of it I don't remember them showing the hawk but I'm still submitting it anyways.....cause I'm a rebel who never obeys the rules!2 points -

How about the time when they thought Boss had won and Jesse had given up and Luke called to see about how he was taking it and Daisy said, " Not good, not good at all." ( or is that the same one you're talking about. ......I get some of them mixed up, I'm embarrassed to say! )2 points -

That's true. Wasn't that when that woman came in and offered to buy up Hazzard and turn it into something newer, better, etc.? She was really going to strip mine the place I think. ( Can't remember the name)2 points -

The 3 Wooden Plaques
Skipper Duke and one other reacted to Hobie Hartkins for a topic
I'm sure I've asked before but I can't find it, but what were the 3 wooden plaques in Boss' office at the Boor's Nest? 1. One bad turn deserves another 2. Do unto others before they do it unto you. 3. ??????? * * I'd appreciate any help finding the 3rd one and if you know it, the episode that shows it. I asked a long time ago and thought later on, I'll find it but never have.2 points -

George Russell took a very impressive pole for Mercedes in Singapore yesterday with an in-form Max Verstappen in second ahead of title leader Oscar Piastri. Williams, who had qualified 12th and 13th, had both cars disqualified due to illegal rear wing openings, so started at the back. Oscar's team mate Lando Norris got a good start from fifth and managed to take third after some minor contact. Charles Leclerc also got away well and got to fourth ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Antonelli. There was a bit of place swapping in the mid-field, but it's a hard to overtake in Singapore. Despite a spin by Nico Hulkenberg on lap 45, the race avoided any form of safety car for the second year in a row. Toward the end, Lando was closing on Max, but just couldn't get past. At the flag, George Russell took his second win of the year ahead of Max and Lando. Oscar nearly caught the battle ahead, but had to settle for fourth. Lewis had a quick second half of the race, but ceded his position to Charles near the end, and was also penalized a position for exceeding track limits when his brakes faded. Finishing third and fourth, Lando only closed the gap to Oscar by three points in the Drivers' Championship. They did, however, do enough for McLaren to claim this year's Constructors' Championship with six races to go. That's back-to-back wins for the team. You can see the race highlights here. We're back stateside for the next race at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin in two weeks.2 points -

I heard that a player had been robbed, but not who it was until after I saw your post. Sadly, there seems to be a trend of attacks in Dublin at the moment. An English tourist was stabbed (but survived) in the same area last week. I don't know if they've caught anyone or announced the nationality of the attackers. By all accounts the NFL game was a success, so it's such a shame that it was marred by an incident like this.2 points -

They used some '68 Chargers in the show, so it's still authentic. The main differences between the '68 and '69 Chargers are the front grille, the rear lights and the side markers. You can sand off the side markers (as they did with the real ones). You can probably fabricate the front grille divider (they had center pieces to clip to '68 grilles on some cars in the show). The tail lights will be trickier to change.2 points

Well fellow Hazzardites, my gut is still bothering me from my operation but the doc says it's looking good but I don't think so. I've been housebound almost a whole month! Well y’all in the past 24 hours, life hasn’t been too eventful but I did go to visit a friend who was staying in town, hung out with her and her doggo. Cute as button, but so strong. That pup pulled me and I’m a full grown man. What happened was she was just going to get something at the nearby convenience store… the dog went nuts and started pulling me along even though I dug my heels in. Guess you just can’t get between a dog and their momma. Lol.2 points

A couple of pieces of F1 news. Firstly, Cadillac F1 recently announced F1 veterans Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez will be their drivers next season. Now they've added IndyCar race winner Colton Herta as their test driver. Secondly, Irish driver Alex Dunne gets his second chance to drive an F1 McLaren in the first practice session this weekend at Monza.2 points -

Just Google "Meteorites for sale" and you will see tons of them. The problem is that lots of them aren't real. It's best to buy from reputable dealers but it can be hard to know which ones are reputable. That has always kept me from buying one.1 point -

Im not sure if this fits better here or in fan art, but, I'm starting a new project. I bought a 1:25 scale 68 Charger at Hobby Lobby. There were, unfortunately, no 69 in stock, with no nearby hobby stores. And buying models online is a gamble that I don't want to risk. I'm going to try my best to turn it into The General! So if any of you have any tips, tricks, or recommend products, I would be very grateful if you could share!1 point -

What shows did you grow up with?
Skipper Duke reacted to Spike for a topic
Norm retired from This Old House and New Yankee Workshop. I think he would have made more Yankee Workshop episodes but financing became an issue. According to Wikipedia he has bought a new 'old' house in Rhode Island and is building a new workshop and learning shipbuilding. Roger Cook on This Old House unfortunately got very ill and passed away. They did a special about him. Tom Silva and Richard Trethewey are still on the show though. Since WB/Discovery bought This Old House they changed the format up. Now they show 3 houses a season in about 8 episodes each with 2 new builders across the country. They do one house a season in the Massachusetts area. A lot less showing how things are built though but I get it America has a short attention span these days.1 point -

I've never heard of Shining Time Station. Before it became Thomas and Friends, it was simply The Railway Stories by the Rev. W. Awdry, and that's what I grew up with. Although I know that Ringo Starr narrated Thomas and Friends when it changed its name and came to TV, I haven't seen many of those episodes. I used to have LPs with the stories read by British TV presenter Johnny Morris. He was best known for presenting a zoological kid's TV show called 'Animal Magic'. He'd narrate it and do voices for the animals.1 point
