Happy Halloween!
Boss JD Hogg and 3 others reacted to bo-go-vroom for a topic
Happy Halloween guys!! unfortunately, I come from a family who don't celebrate things much outside Christmas so I'm not doing anything, but my mom bought me some candy last week (which is already almost gone) and I have a cool halloween outfit on Red Dead Redemption Online! Might brave up and watch some horror movies tonight...not sure4 points -

In my area of NW Pennsylvania it is easy to get a job, even part time and under 18. Employers are desperate for help.. But I'm sure that's not the case everywhere. Keep looking. You'll get there if you stick with it.3 points -

Equal OPPORTUNITIES law The plot device in 'OFFICER Daisy Duke'. One of the channels here is currently airing 'The Fall Guy'. They're now up to midway through the final season (season 5), and it's quite possible that I never saw these later episodes in the '80s, and if I did it was nearly 40 years ago! Only the first two seasons have been released on DVD, so I'm taking my chance to catch up. At the beginning of the show's run, Colt took assignments from bail bondswoman Samantha "Big Jack" Jack played by Jo Ann Pflug (AKA. Helen Hogan from 'Route 7-11'). For seasons 2 to 4, the bail bondswoman was Terri Michaels played by Markie Post. What I'd forgotten/never knew is that that the bail bondswoman in the final season was Pearl played by Nedra Volz. She only actually appeared in five episodes, but she's mentioned in several others.3 points -

I don't tailgate even when the driver in front is going well under the speed limit. There's just not enough time to react if anything happens. I have also used the slowing down tactic when I've been tailgated.3 points -

I don't do many long journeys, but luckily I don't recall seeing anyone doing that on my recent trip to Galway, although I'm sure it happens regularly over here. Maybe I'm imagining it, but people here seem to drive much more hesitantly lately. I thought it could be the reduced driving during the Covid lockdowns, but that was a while ago now. Sometimes I approach a junction thinking I'll easily get out because there's a huge gap, but the car in front stops dead and waits for nothing. Then there are the drivers who drive at well under the speed limit completely oblivious to the long queue behind them. That's my two cents.3 points -

Does your hometown remind you of Hazzard County?
RogerDuke and one other reacted to Meadowmufn for a topic
My hometown doesn't resemble Hazzard in the least. My current town doesn't resemble it much either, but at least it's a little closer to it. I drive by farms and cows to get to my doctor's office. In my hometown, it's mostly concrete.2 points -

Happy Samhain. Halloween started out here in Ireland, and the jack-o-lanterns were originally made from turnips. BTW. If you know anyone Irish, Samhain is pronounced Sow-in.2 points -

Speaking of haunted......Halloween is going to be cold, windy and rainy....just like it has been all day today. We just finished watching Bram Stoker's Dracula. It's a 1992 movie. Normally I don't watch scary stuff but do occasionally this time of year.2 points -

Im alive! But unfortunately things didt work out when buying TNT Express paint so we're switching gears to making a custom car. I bought some spray paint at a walmart and got a nice blue and some silver for the engine. Anybody have any other paint ideas? (Ex: racing stripes) The blue is "Brilliant Blue" I think.2 points -

Of all the episodes, I think he came closest on " The Duke Scam-Scam" There are one or two others that came pretty close though, so, just my opinion. What do you guys think? Hey! I know! What about the one where they go back to the farm and the crooks are looking for them in their helicopter? Remember?2 points -

George Russell took a very impressive pole for Mercedes in Singapore yesterday with an in-form Max Verstappen in second ahead of title leader Oscar Piastri. Williams, who had qualified 12th and 13th, had both cars disqualified due to illegal rear wing openings, so started at the back. Oscar's team mate Lando Norris got a good start from fifth and managed to take third after some minor contact. Charles Leclerc also got away well and got to fourth ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Antonelli. There was a bit of place swapping in the mid-field, but it's a hard to overtake in Singapore. Despite a spin by Nico Hulkenberg on lap 45, the race avoided any form of safety car for the second year in a row. Toward the end, Lando was closing on Max, but just couldn't get past. At the flag, George Russell took his second win of the year ahead of Max and Lando. Oscar nearly caught the battle ahead, but had to settle for fourth. Lewis had a quick second half of the race, but ceded his position to Charles near the end, and was also penalized a position for exceeding track limits when his brakes faded. Finishing third and fourth, Lando only closed the gap to Oscar by three points in the Drivers' Championship. They did, however, do enough for McLaren to claim this year's Constructors' Championship with six races to go. That's back-to-back wins for the team. You can see the race highlights here. We're back stateside for the next race at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin in two weeks.2 points -

Boy’s Best Friend Creepy Voice?

The voice was done by June Foray. It's quite possible that Danny's voice wasn't picked up very well by the mics and he wasn't available for looping on the production's schedule, so they had to bring in June.2 points
