    • What I'm doing right now, is thinking about how comforting it is to be in Hazzard, or to watch the show. When you run in to a stressful situation, you just, " Head to Hazzard" . You can literally, both while the shows are playing or sitting practically anywhere,  get lost in Hazzard, in a much simpler,  more relaxing world, where you know everybody and everybody knows you and they all share your opinion on stuff and your view on life! It even helps you sleep. I just close my eyes and think about an episode or make up an episode in my head! Then it's off to La La  land until next morning.     Hey, We've even discussed other plot episodes etc. on here before!  Or what would this character  do in this situation, etc. When you can lose yourself in this world and all its infinite possibilities, it makes life easier and more comfortable, enjoyable etc.
    • All this is true but what it is, is an under development of the Psyche.  You know, when you're a kid and you do crazy stuff and then get older and learn to drive and you drive crazy....nothing's going to happen!  That happens to other people! ( You ARE other people!)  Hey! It's never happened before! I know what I'm doing! It's an adolescent  sense of invulnerability  Then most people ( SOME people??) as they mature and their brain develops, learn that yes, they to can die and no it's not just other people! 5/15/82!  I was a junior in high school, passenger in my friend's car  and he was flying and we hit a phone pole. I was in a coma for a week and in the hospital for a month. Some people never fully develop mentally.
    • Gilligan's Island logic 🤣 In Season 2's "V for Vitamins," the castaways freak out about an orange shortage, but they've got pineapples, mangoes, papayas, grapefruits, and lemons galore! All packed with Vitamin C! Why the orange panic? 😂 Only on the island, folks! #GilligansIsland #IslandLife #VitaminC
    • Like Billy Currington sings "God is Great, Beer is Good, and People are Crazy."
    • Relaxing now after getting home from Northern Virginia. It's 300 miles one way, much of it is on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. People are idiots. I get that I am getting older and lost my daughter to a careless driver 2 years ago but there is more to it than that. Just about every time you see somebody crossing the line they are doing so because the life of the person they are cutting off has less value to them than their text or fantasy football team. We have reached a point where an electronic device matters more than a life.  And when you point this out to idiots you know who text and drive the person just says "Well, maybe they were texting a person who was having a medical emergency or maybe their child was in danger". There is a chance in a billion it was something like that.
