Looking at the hail bails I'd say this is on the Duke Farm. Bo and Rosco just before the start of the race with the Double Zero. Anyone remembers this jump? It seems to clear the barn barely. That is from the the final episode "Opening Night at the Boar's Nest" Hobie Hartkins

Anyone got a clue on the episode? Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler. I'm pretty sure this is taken at Lake Sherwood. I wonder whats the black thing in the car, it looks more like a second rollbar then a full rollcage. I don't know from which shoot this was but I remember I posted another picture of it before. Cathy is wearing a sort of pink or purple. Seems like they are about to crash into the building. Also I don't remember ever seeing that building, could this be from one of the failed jumps? That looks like the jump from the final episode 'Opening Night at the Boars Nest' I believe it was the last jump that they filmed using a real car (not miniatures) Hobie Hartkins
Roth Potter
I checked, its a different building. I have a feeling they might've not used this one. Or I just cant find it. For this time I've found some pictures which were probably used to promote the cartoon show. And to finish it off, artwork from one of the TV Guides. RogerDuke
I love those cartoon drawings! I have a few of those old TV Guides but not the one with the first episode. I think the 16 you asked about is "16" magazine. It was pretty popular with teen-age girls. Roth Potter
Roth Potter
Thought we'd do a guests special this time. These are two pictures of an Indie Film Producer named Shaun O'Banion at 5½ years old. Here's Robert Kibbe from The Kibbe & finnegan Show meeting Sorrell Booke! By the way, episode 61 is out now on themusclecarplace.com Idk who the man on the left is, but on the right must be Al Wyatt Jr.

Hobie Hartkins
Yes, Roth, these are great! Thank you! ( I'll give you a sip next time you're at the car lot and I'll also give you a really good deal on any of the red buggies on the lot! .... They ALL look red to me!) HossC
I thought that quote might be apocryphal, but apparently Henry Ford did say "Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black" during a meeting in 1909. However, according to Wikipedia, the Model T wasn't available in black until 1914. Black was the quickest drying color, and another source says that black was the only color available from 1914 to 1925 so they could keep up with demand. Roth Potter
I've got no clue what it means either...
HossC
apocryphal adjective: (of a story or statement) of doubtful authenticity, although widely circulated as being true.
RogerDuke
I'm not sure if Hoss's definition of an apocryphal is the truth or an apocryphal.

RogerDuke
Hey Hoss, can you post some more fancy words? This is kinda fun. I'm having a yutilletarian good time. Hobie Hartkins
HossC
I didn't deliberately post a fancy word, Roger, it just seemed to be the right one to use. I don't know if this fits your criterion, but it's a word I like: mellifluous adjective: (of a sound) pleasingly smooth and musical to hear. RogerDuke
I'm just teasing you Hoss. I love dem fancy words. In fact it might be a fun game if you posted another so we could guess what it is.....we promise not to google it! Make it tough.
