RogerDuke
Right now I'm finally relaxing. We have had company for 7 days and it's nice to have a little quiet time. No Hobie, I haven't seen Killer Shrews. I'm sure I'd like it because Rosco is in it. Is it good otherwise?

Fairly good but you have to remember, this movie was made in another time and things are different now. Most might see it as boring. Hobie Hartkins
Right now I'm watching my Braves get their butt kicked by the Brewers ( my second fav. team.....for obvious reasons....HA! HA!) and I'm about to imbibe some Twisted Tea. Pretty good stuff but even at 5% ABV......no real kick......I'm going back to shine! LOL! ( translates to REAL beer!) Does anybody here know how replace fork seals on a dirt bike? If so, come on over tomorrow. I pay in donuts and buttermilk. HossC
This is getting ridiculous, Skipper. Not content with starting your own thread so that you can keep posting inaccurate quotes on HNet which you've been asked many times to restrict to Facebook, you're now putting them in other threads. Here's what was actually said: Boss: "Of all the cotton-picking, corn-shucking, pig-slopping..." Rosco: "Bad news?" Boss: "No, it was a singing candygram. Of course, it was bad news, you dodo!" Hobie Hartkins
I'm watching season 4 and I'm not sure how many of you ( or ANY of you) watch it while laying down or going to bed but you wind up watching the same episodes several times but TDOH is the one show you can never get enough of. So, I'm on season 4 and about to finish the last couple shows but it seems a long time since I've seen the other earlier shows....so I'm just going to re-watch the whole season!! Anybody do that? No other show even comes close to challenging Dukes for the title of greatest show ever made. And anybody who doesn't agree with that is just plain old confused about life. Hobie Hartkins
OK Cousins...it's Friday , wife made pizza ( though I'm, not hungry,) and I'm watching TDOH, the day off with nothing to do tomorrow, and watching GoodBye General Lee. " " If corn was a dollar a ton, ya'll couldn't afford grits!!" .....I love this quote....hilarious! ** I almost forgot! I'm also now indulging in some adult beveriges, namely a special Bock by Shiner ( a beer co. from Shiner Tx) and it's brewed peaches and pecan....VERY tasty!! I just noticed the name of my car lot ......for the first time.... " Friendly Hobies's Used Cars " Not just Hobie....FRIENDLY Hobie....!!! LOL!! * I also noticed Cooter told Homer, the guy that wound up riding on his hood, as he flew up into the Boar's Nest parking lot," Sorry bout that Homer, Hey I'll buy you a cold one down at the Bar's Nest." He was AT the Boar's Nest when he said it!! * Friday is DOHD ( Duke Of Hazzard Day!). Nothing to do tomorrow, pizza, and some good ol' DOH on DVD! AND some adult beveriges! Life doesn't get any better that that! ( unless it's with Buttermilk!! Ha! Ha! ) Edited November 9 by Hobie Hartkins RogerDuke

I love action, adventure, crime, detective, cop dramas most…but, I do like a good drama if the characters have depth & the plots are good. You’re going to laugh, and probably think it’s stupid or boring…but, currently I’m going through the first, original primetime “soap”/drama…PEYTON PLACE (1964-1969). I grew up in small towns like that…and the thoughts, attitudes, behaviors, and how people approached situations & problems on the show were/are very realistic…for the time (60s), and even still in the 70s/80s when I was growing up. It’s the sociologist/psychologist in me that finds it all intriguing. What else can I say, lol? 🤷♂️ 🤪 However, I too am enjoying some adult beverages…I first made myself an Old Fashioned 🥃, followed by a DOH-chaser 🍺 😉 Happy DOHD-Friday! 👍 😁 Hobie Hartkins
