July 24Jul 24 Just got HazzardNet back. They've been putting fiber optics in and there have been all kinds of issues. I think everything is good now. I'll catch up on posts later.

I 'm sitting here looking at 3 cans of Natural Ice. I'm now drinking my first can and am preparing to watch my first episode! Just hold on with bated breath ( LOL! ) and I'll be back in a while and let you know what episode, in case you want to watch with me! I must confess and I hope this isn't a sin in Hazzard, but I'm waiting to watch the Jeopardy Celebrity show ( I gotta do SOMETHING to stimulate my IQ!) and then....it's off to Hazzard! July 31Jul 31 Author OK fellow Hazzardites! It's that time of week again, Friday! That means it's the International holiday, Dukes Of Hazzard Day! ( DOHD) Right now, I'm watching the news and drinking my first can of brew ( Milwaukee's Best Ice) and preparing to watch DOH tonight, which everyone on the planet should do on Friday nights! My wife said she's off Sat. and Sun. and that means I don't have to get up early and take her to work and so, I'm free all weekend! PLUS .....she says she's going to fix me a pizza for supper later on, so, Pizza, Friday night, DOH, day off tomorrow, and a pack of Cold ones....it doesn't get any better than this! August 6Aug 6 Just got back from a 3 day trip to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. Looks like things are pretty slow around here. Looks like we need another Moonshine 400!

August 7Aug 7 Author Happy DOHD everybody! I hope people will hangout periodically through the night and keep the party going. I'm not sure what episodes I'm going to watch tonight but probably it will be the 1st yr. I'll pull them in here ( my computer room ) watch them while on the computer, after I see the news and some other shows that come on at this time and then.............IT'S FULL ON HAZZARD COUNTY!!! ( along with my Natural Ice ......America's biggest selling Ice Beer!).....aaaand maybe a few snacks! Well my fellow Hazzardites....I was hoping to see a few more Hazzard citizens in here just before watching an episode. I thought it would be nice if sometime on DOHD, we could ALL be here at the same time and watch an episode or two!.....I'll check back a little later before I start watching .... I also wanted to say, that my wife wasn't feeling good, so I picked her up early and she's off the rest of the weekend, so I don't have to worry about getting up early tomorrow or Sunday! I'm currently watching the Diamondbacks and the Dodgers play and having a few adult beverages and I'm on FaceBook and it showed a modern picture of Ben Jones ( looks a lot like Jimmy Best in the latter years) and it said , from his wife I THINK....he died! If somebody could confirm that and get me his age, cause of death etc. I'd be very grateful!

His wife Alma confirmed he passed of a heart attack while waiting for the Braves' game to come on. He would've been happy to see them beat the Yankees today.

The bar here in town is closed, but when I’m able I’ll be stopping by my local Boars Nest in memory of Cooter. World is a lot sadder place to live in at the moment...

When you got to meet him, you felt like you were visiting an old friend again. He just made you feel that way. He'll be missed.
