  1. Yeah! Man, it's too much to add up over the series. As a per-episode trivia question it's still a good one. Right up there with "How many times has MaryAnne crashed the HazzardNet server?"
  2. That would be a great trivia question. Anybody ever add up the number of times Rosco crashes or otherwise scuffs a patrol car througout the series? That would be a lotta 01+01+01+01 to count....
  3. That's how I always feel. So between you passing work down to MaryAnne, and me just passing work up, it's no wonder she gets a mite frazzled sometimes.
  4. Dukes fans rarely count above "01" anyhow. Yeehaa!
  5. I'm closing in on my 2,000th post and now you want quality? If I'd only known that about 1,701 posts ago. I coulda saved myself a lotta time. Well, I'll make up for it by writing up a really lousy article for the home page, how about that.
  6. Oh, somebody's a smarty-pants! You want more posts with less quality?! You got it. When it comes to worthless comments, I got the market cornered. 'Scuze me while I go admire my post count.
  7. Or, count as high as you're able to.
  8. I'm not touching that one. All that comes to mind is something about a blind date that went bad....
  9. Actually this has been an interesting thread, and it's been great to see all the responses. I'll quit teasing long enough to tell ya what I do. I work for a major financial corporation and I help people avoid foreclosure. I have a fancy title that sounds like pure jibberish to anybody not familiar with the industry. I deal with people from all walks of life. Scientists, firemen, cops, Federal agents, teachers, nurses, self-employed business owners, waitresses, car salesmen, you name it. That's what alarms me the most about the current state of the economy. It doesn't matter what people do for a living or how much money they make. Trouble can find ya. My job is complicated, extremely stressful, and time-sensitive. Sometimes I can pull off a small miracle for somebody and help them. Other times, I'm the bearer of bad news and I have to counsel people on things they'd rather not have to know. That's what I do, when I'm not slacking on HazzardNet.
  10. Great jump shot there. I don't have a caption right off the bat but I dig those kinds of pics.
  11. But you do own and manage the number one Dukes fansite that's about to celebrate it's 10th year of consecutive operation. So it's not like you've spent your life memorizing trivia for nothing.
  12. Actually, I've noticed, and I commend ya on your wisdom. How do you think I've lasted around here for years? Which reminds me.... Hey Mufn, great job on that trivia contest. You rock.
  13. Which would be fascinating, if she did something worth watching --- And I decided to edit this post before I get my posterior kicked. Mufn is actually one of the smartest people I've ever met, seriously. I'd be afraid to be her supervisor.
  14. Wait...in real life, you're the night watchman for the all-night deli on Frontage Road? Truth is stranger than fiction, ya'll.
  15. Oh, I can keep it clean. Or clean enuff. No worries! I might be on the ragged edge of our censor guidelines, but I think we'll be awright. We just need a snappy slogan for our contest. Sounds like we're gonna have heart avatars invovled too....hmm. "Get a heart on for Valentine's Day."
  16. Considering I haven't finished the Halloween story, I shouldn't enter a Valentine's challenge, but... count me in. I happen to be somethin' of an authority on romance. What's the audience rating on these stories? NC-17??
  17. Bahaha! Mufn, those were a hoot. Awright, since we've gone this far, we might as well throw in Jeff Foxworty's 12 days o' Christmas!
  18. Heh, I enjoyed Mufn's Bob & Doug find. Gotta hand it to Canadians, they drink almost as much as people from - Well anyhow! It's time for even more Christmas shenanigans. I was gonna post this over on another thread, but then I decided to park it here and keep all my worst stuff all in the same neck of the woods. Here we have a Letter From Santa. Folks, he's havin' a tough time this year.... I'm writing this note to warn you That the recession has taken away The things that I find most essential My reindeer, my workshop, my sleigh. I now make my rounds on a donkey He's old and he's stubborn and slow - So if you don't see me this Christmas, I'll be out on my ass in the snow.
  19. It's practically tradition by now, so here's another tasteless twist on a holiday classic. Sing along! http://humor.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?zi=1/XJ/Ya&sdn=humor&zu=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bobrivers.com%2Faudiovault%2Fdownloads%2Fchipmunkvid.asp
  20. Well, that went by quick. The new Knight Rider series has officially got the axe. The Ford-KITT's last ride will be Wednesday, February 25th. I can't say I'm surprised. I'd hoped for better with the new concept, but as usual, a modern incarnation ends up botching a classic.
  21. What a great question! What three episodes are on here? Um...no idea. I checked around Amazon to see if there were better product descriptions, but no dice. Only says that there's an episode from each of the first three seasons. Might I recommend, tho', if you haven't already purchased the Complete First Season or any other full-season Dukes of Hazzard DVD's, that you go right on ahead and grab one of those? The first season is running for about $14.99 on Amazon. That gives ya 13 episodes. Or, Amazon has the 1st and 2nd seasons on their "video on demand" thing, and you can pick eps at random for a mere $1.99. Sorry I couldn't answer your question, but hopefully some of this other info is useful to you.
  22. Bahaha! Ok, but I'm still waiting for some compliments. Somethin' tells me this could take awhile....
  23. Nice speechifyin', Deputy. The world may not know ( tho' it's about to ) that you were the one who introduced me to Mufn. And from there things just sorta snowballed. Along the way, we've met more great friends. In a world where most things are too easily discarded and stuff doesn't last, there's no price you can put on a friend that will stand by you in thick and thin. So, about that Christmas bonus, Mufn... it don't really matter what we get. The best gift has already been received.
