Finally finished this one. Started with kitbashing the MPC Dodge Monaco Police Car with the AMT 1971 Dodge Charger since the MPC chassis, suspension and engine are almost worthless, my opinion. Added to that: -rebuild grille with fine mesh -resin cast headlights and bumpers, the latter heavily improved/modified -resin cast wheel hubs and caps -scratchbuilt CB antenna and side marker lights -completely rebuilt/redesigned lightbar. Sorry if it's already been mentioned, but who else has noticed the "Now you see it, now you don't" roll bar in Cale Yarborough's white Charger from season 2?

I've seen two here in Tucson, Arizona. One was a '68 and was okay, but there was a '69 around for a while that was absolutely fantastic!! Better than a lot of the ones I've seen online. TRUE STORY: First time I saw the '69 I just mentioned, I drove into the Target parking lot and parked right next to it. I stepped out and was so amazed that I locked myself out of the car with the keys in the ignition, engine running!!! I had to walk about 2 miles home in the Arizona summer heat (about 105F probably) to get the spare key.

I'm a musician and music teacher in the barrios of South Tucson. I'm a concert flutist and piccoloist, although I play more guitar in the classroom. I'm also an arranger; I teach the only public school handbell choir in the area, and I arrange some pretty bizarre stuff for them, meaning things you'd never expect to hear with handbells. We've done Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Evanescence, and songs like "The Fox" and "Happy."

You know more about each obscure guest character's bio than was ever shown or even hinted in the show.

YEEEEEEHAAAAAAAWWWWWW.......... A big how-dee from the desert southwest of Tucson, Arizona! Actually I'm a native New Englander (north of Boston MA), and it was the Dukes who first introduced my brother and myself to words like "ain't" and "y'all", which of course we had never heard in Massachusetts. Much to our parents' horror.... I did spend 7 years of my adult life in the Deep South, marrying into a North Louisiana family who remembered when, during the show's heyday, almost every little town had someone who had a General Lee, with varying degrees of quality. I'm an award-winning master modelmaker, normally specializing in aircraft but I'm in the process of a line of extremely high-quality Dukes models. Each work takes many months of craftsmanship to complete (working on Uncle Jesse's pickup right now). So, pleased to meet y'all, and I look forward to gettin' to know y'all by readin' yer postin's.
