Some nice pics you got. My grandpa had a red Gran Torino without the white Starsky & Hutch stripe, that thing was a beast when it ran but unfortunately it wasn't all that reliable

That was the only part worth watching so you didn't miss much. A lot of empty stands this year even more so than last year I think.

Great post on the main page meadowmuffin Growing up watching the Dukes of Hazzard it sorta feels like I lost a great uncle. I also remember him in 2 episodes of Andy Griffith where he played a wandering guitar player Jim Lindsey.

They get destroyed during the production of the movie in various stunts. Hollywood isn't in the car restoring business so whatever cars get wrecked during filming 9 times out of 10 get sent to the scrapyard unless someone involved with the movie or tv show wants to buy and fix up the wrecks.

Just read a story that the latest Furious movie destroyed most of the cars they bought for production including 9 1968-70 dodger Chargers . I know it's a drop in the bucket compared to how many were destroyed making the Dukes of Hazzard series but still sad to see 9 more go to the scrapyard. I'll be glad when this movie franchise is finally dead!

I think they brought Danica up to cup too soon. She should have stayed in xfinity series for another season or two. Even with extra time in the lower series she'd probably still be a mid field finisher at best.

I tend to skip some of the Coy & Vance episodes though I will say those episodes allowed Denver and Catherine to shine a brighter light.

I agree Nascar should have waited to Indefinitely Suspend Kurt Busch till he's been proven guilty of something. Right now it's all Hearsay, He Said, She Said. Feel bad for Kyle Busch getting hurt but he only has himself to blame as he was pushing in the Tri-oval which is not a place to be pushing someone. Can't believe they've spent so much money Upgrading Daytona yet they still don't have Safer barriers all around the inside of the track.
