That is exactly what I meant.

I don't know much about movie editing but here's my thought Can't it be they asked WB to make an HD version for them? This could mean the original show had some lighting levels edited in later, sort of post processing? And for a HD version they wanted to add new lighting so took the recordings from before post processing and forgot to make this one nighttime.

Grady Byrd got promoted is my thought.

Thank you Hoss! I'm not sure as this picture is very small, butI belive Cooter just found the cut fuel line. This is from the episodes 'Carnival of Thrills' at Saugus. Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler. Taken inside boss' office in the Boars Nest. This is not really from the Dukes itself but here you see the barn of the Georgia Duke farm being taken down. So this is somewhere after 1984. Can anyone read what it says on Ben's cap? I think it says "Red Robs Animal feeds".

So thats why you make signs of Hazzard.
-
Hoss, I never saw the sign illuminated before, thank you for showing. The last picture you posted looks like it has one of those back-lighted signs, where there is a fluorescent tube behind the panel. Source: I have one of those type of panels from Utrecht Central Station hanging in my room.

They recorded it in daylight and made it look like night afterwards, which you can see on the dvd's because the headlights are not bright at all. I'd like to see the difference between the scenes, but I don't have CMT.

I'm not sure but I think the building in the background is a building from Western Street. Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler. The background lets me think this is at Golden Oaks, but I got no clue if that is true. Could that in the background be the Boars Nest parking lot with the Hazzard Feed & Seed next to it? Does Cathy have something wrong with here foot or can she just move it like that? I can't. The Boars Nest, at which I think is Lake Sherwood. I doubt whether this is at Lake Sherwood or Golden Oaks, but I think is is Lake Sherwood. I don't recognize the person in front. Cathy sitting on top of the Boars Nest bar. Are those buffalo antlers hanging on the wall or another animal?

I really wasn't awake last day... Jason, very nice find of Cooter towing General Lee. Original from ebay user argentaImages I think this picture is like most pictures of Coy or Vance on a roof in front of the Hazzard court. Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler. I'm not sure but this seems to be that river jump where General Lee flies through those branches of a dead tree. This is said to be Tom and John practicing dirt driving. Does anyone actually have a clue where this could have been? Stunt driving is dangerous, but lying on a model train with a camera is also not the most comfortable thing to do either. I wonder how many times they had to redo some of these stunts. And for the people who were not able to see it last time, here is it again. Behind thescenes with Bo, The first Reunion. This person also has James Best in his own words uploaded.

Sky Bandits over Hazzard. an episode from season 7.

I think you are just not used to computers. Anyway, I don't feel the need for a mobile phone either. The only reason I have it is otherwise I cant send texts which is what I need from time to time for work.

Welcome tom HazzardNet Russell!

Thanks CornDog for the info! I love reading information like this and how I can be wrong. Thanks Jason for for those screengrabs. I never noticed the 68 Charger standing there, but did you notice this impound lot was just in the pain open. Not even in some corner. Hoss has described it here very well. Hobie, You know Cooter and his woman broke up before Nancylou was even born? That way it makes more sense. I personally did enjoy the episode of her realizing how different Hazzard actually is from where she lives. Ben at Saugus, atleast I think it is there. Another picture of the shoot same from my last post, though this time without Boss. Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler. Rosco's trademark smile. Khee khee!
-
I have posted 2 or 3 pictures of this shoot before, but non with Boss in it. Looks like Sorrell has some fun here, so I think I should call this a behind the scenes picture of a photo shoot. I don't remember Ben wearing no shirt on the show, I guess it is between shoots. This is from shooting in Georgia, there are a few people in this shoot also seen with John and Tom in front of Starr Recording so I think this is from there too. Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler. As this is from 'Cooter's Girl' S06E12 This must be taken at the Valencia Oaks Duke farm. To the right of here is the farmhouse with the kitchen closest. Cooter's daugter Nancylou was played by Kim Richards.

Fabulously done Hoss. Did Hazzard have actually something similar to thing? If my memory serves me right there was one time a sign saying "You are now leaving Hazzard". No, I don't mean the sign saying "County Line".

Unfortunately not a very big image but you can clearly see where it is and from which episode. 'And in This Corner, Luke Duke' S03E04 Hazzard Square Midwest Street. This is certainly from early in the show if you look at Tom's jacket. Also the forest looks so real I think this is from Georgia. A TV guide from 1980 having a very known picture made as a drawing. Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler. Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas! I didn't have this picture during Christmas otherwise I would have posted it then. I think of of the two Duke boys is in Santa's suit, but which one? Also, interesting charity Cooter is collecting money for.

I still don't see it. Let's just get on with the other pictures. I am surprised they were allowed to drive a car into a park. I don't think Griffith Park normally allows this. Does anyone recognize the two people in the middle? This picture must be from early on in the show as Sonny wears a black jacket. Catherine's second times wearing a wedding dress on the show. It looks like this picture of the Griffith Park shoot wasn't meant to be published. I think that because it looks like Catherine is trying to get off the roof of General Lee. Also I don't think it feels so good to have your feet in that position, I can't even get my feet like that.

Basho wins! This type of racing is very enjoyable, FIA should make an FIA world Championship Caravan racing. I haven't seen any DAF lately aither, probably smashed all in these events.
-
Just though I should share this. Unfortunately this is not in english but Dutch though you can still enjoy the crashes. For the viewers looking closely you can see that about half of the footage is taken at circuit Zandvoort in the 70s and 80s. Also there is on DAF painted as a General Lee at the start of one race. Nowadays we still race backwards on dirt tracks only made especially for that one race, they will demolish the track and re-used it as farmland like it was before the race. We mostly have these races on Koningsdag and ascension day. No caravan races anymore but we still sometimes do drive on two wheels just to entertain the crown in the break. If you wanna know why that one guy talks so weird is because he is a comedian en used to present this when it was a TV program as well.

Hoss, I'm not convinced about different storefront. Also there are no fences on either side of the streets on your picture. though it could very well be there. Your right about the other picture being at Indian Dunes. I just checked it from where I got the picture. Thanks. for that one. Jason, unfortunately I already posted that picture. But it's good enough to be posted twice. A stunt double of Rosco jumping from the Hazzard Hotel. It looks like there is a trampoline where he is about to land and a large air cushion next to it. Anyone remembers the episode this could have been in? In the next few posts there will be some more pictures of this size. Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler. Surely a Jumped General Lee from before the fifth season. But from which jump could it be? The damage tells me it is the Indian Dunes jumper but the surroundings look more like the a Movie Ranch. Also note in the background the blue trailer which is probably the one used in 'Hazzard Connection' S02E08 where Bo and Luke drive it full of junkers for Augie Detweiller. Here you can clearly see they cut the roofs of the General's when they were finished. I wonder what happened to them, could have been a nice memorabilia to sell to fans. The Vectors and any other usable parts was probably stripped off already. This seems to be from one of the first promotional pictures after the Griffith Park shoot.

Thanks for the info Jason! I'm will investigate that soon Ila. I think this is Hazzard Square with those types of buildings, but I can't figure out where on the square it could be. My best guess is somewhere at the end of the street where Boss lives. At first I though the paint shop, but there are no fences around there and the Garage doesn't have a roof sticking out above the entrance. This is taken at Valencia Oaks. Now where there is the question. I think the road in the background we see is the road with the bridge seen in the movie 'Nothing but Trouble'. That would mean its in the western part of the ranch. It looks like the Gaylord farm in the background. On which ranch was that farm? Golden Oaks or Lake Sherwood? The guy holding the cake is I think tom Sarmento and the guy on the right of the cake is I think Gary Baxley. I don't recognize many other people so I think they worked second unit. I have the feeling the guy with the shorts on the left of the man with the white cowboy hat is Jack Gill, but that's just a feeling. John in Georgia filming one of the first 5 episodes. Behind John's hat we see a black thing which is I think a lamp to light up the set.
