Here in the Netherlands it's just called The Dukes of Hazzard.

Over the years i have found many rare pictures of the dukes of Hazzard on the internet and saved them on my local hard drive. Because i couldn't find a thread generally about these i thought i'd start my own. Unfortunately for many of these pictures I can't find the source of so some might be from this Forum. If some were from this forum i am sorry for re-posting them. If i can find the source of a picture I post I'll post the link to the source. The screencap I posted was from Season 4 Episode 17 at the time of 26:45. Also you can see the tv in a later episode too, this is Season 4 Episode 19 at the time of 34:38 It might also be before S04E17 and after S4e9 that the tv was shown but im not sure about that, mostly this space was empty.

that looks like the corner in the road which is now gone driving from the Duke Farm to the Boar's Nest. If i recall correctly they use the slope on the left in later seasons to run up to Eagle Point.

We watch it in english and I don't use subtitles while watching Dukes.

Hello people from HazzardNet, Since this forum is made to introduce myself I will use it to do so. I've been a Dukes of Hazzard fan since my mother first told me about the show when it came back on dutch television in i think 2005. My Mother said she was a fan of the show when it was on tv before I was born. For herself she recorded an episode, and because back then I watched a lot of tv with my mother I watched the episode with her and like it so much i've asked her to record more of it. I believe the first Episode I ever watched was Carnival of Thrills Part 1. Unfortunatly for me the episodes were shown during school times and my mother forgot to record most episodes before the series was taken off the air again in a few month's meaning i only had 5 episode's to watch and played them almost every day. A few Month's after my parents bought a DVD player and when it became my birthday they bought me Dukes of Hazzard Season 7:) I was so happy and played all the dvd's in just 3 days while also going to school. This of course meant i wanted to see more, they said the only way to get more is to get good school reports, so the next 6 school reports were good and since have watched all Dukes episodes atleast ones. Later for some reason i kind of forgot how good the Dukes of hazzard was:cry:. However, this year I looked at the shelf and started to watch Season 4 as it was for me one of the best back in the day. My name: Roth_Potter I've always liked the name Roth for some reason. Also i've always thought Emery Potter in the Dukes was a funny character and found it a real shame he wasn't very much on the show. Another thing is I somtimes have a little bit of his character. The reason i joined Hazzardnet: I've always found it interesting to see filming location's and cars used in movies and tv series, so since I am watching the Dukes again I naturally started to search for these on the internet and found this site with the most amazing topics about my interests.

I've took another look at the movie Nothing but Trouble and found the Duke Farm in 1991! At the end of the movie just before an explosion happens, they film from inside the house (Valkenheiser Residence) described in my last post. You can easily recognise the Duke Farm from behind in the background of this snapshot. Also, if you look at the next snapshot you can see the Duke Barn in the background on the left and the entrance to the Valkenheiser Residence on the right. with this angle i was able to figure out where the Valkenheiser Residence was located. If you look at this map from 1994 you can see the Duke Farm is already gone:cry:. I've marked the entrance to Valkenheiser's house with a Orange Stripe.

They did have a TV set, I have been watching season 3 and 4 lately and saw a tv set standing in the house of the dukes. Unfortunately i don't know which episode this was.

I took a look at that movie and the only thing that looks like the Boars Nest is this. There are some barrel in front of there which are exploding, not the building itself. I think when they removed this set they might have also removed the Boars Nest. I did not find the roof of the Duke Farm in this movie though. The rest of the movie is filmed in a house and the junkyard in front of it, all are i recon at Valencia Oaks but i couldn't find a reference point. However the entrance to that house is via a small bridge over a waterstream which can be seen twice in the movie. The Road on the snapshot from the movie makes a slight turn to the right and the water makes a turn to the left which i could find in Google Earth. Also the grass matches with the grass from Google Earth Is is seen in the left upper corner of this picture and matches the snapshot perfectly.
