  1. MaryAnne looked at Brian and then at the other faces gathered in the jail. Hell may have been shadowed in Brian's eyes but it would find a worthy opponent within the sharp blue of the deputy. Finally, she turned to look at Chet. "I don't have any friends," MaryAnne said cooly, responding to Chet's earlier comment about Alex and Brian apparently being her 'friends' and thus she would take their side of things. "That's one of the joys of bein' a deputy...." She turned so that she could look at everyone in the jailhouse. "Now, if our three distinguished outlaws will stop lookin' at each other crosseyed for a moment, I'd like to remind y'all that you are in the Hazzard jail. And we have some guilty parties here. Sheriff, you mind telling our contestants what they could win for being guilty of horse theivin'?" "A hangin'!" "Kidnappin'?" "A hangin'!" "Causing a ruckus at the Boar's Nest Saloon?" "A hangin'!" "Receiving stolen horses?" "A hangin'!" "Causin' a general all around ruckus in this town?" "A hangin'! Uh... MaryAnne? Every crime we got on the books is punishable by hangin'. Remember? We did that to streamline things...." "So we did. Well folks, there you have it. You three could all be swinging by sun up!" MaryAnne paused, seeing the pasty white on the outlaws faces. "Or..." she continued, "given I'm in a sickingly generous mood right now, the three of you are escorted to opposite sides of this town and you leave. What happens beyond the jurisdiction of this town is not of my concern. But if I catch one of you back in town again, you'll rot in jail. I catch all three of you on the same day, you'll swing." MaryAnne looked at each of the outlaws seperately, silently asking the question: Any takers? (cue anyone! Muhahahahaha.....)
  2. "I make sure to get all sides of the story, Mr. Chet," MaryAnne said as she applied a clean dressing to Chet's wounds. "I've gotten their side of things, I'm very curious to hear yours." MaryAnne finished fixin' the clean dressing over Chet's wounds. "Which is why I'm patchin' ya up. It's a lot easier to interrogate folks when they're alive." MaryAnne grinned and then turned to look to see who had entered the jail. "Hmm....full house tonight." MaryAnne collected Chet's weapons and stepped out of the jail cell just as Rosco came in. "There you are! Where the hell you been? I got outlaws fallin' off roofs and yer out galavantin' somewhere!" Rosco blinked. "Whatya mean out galavantin'?! I'm the Sheriff, I don't galavant!" "Awright then, do me a favor. Get a statement from everybody in this room, including the two ladies here and we'll see if we can sort this thing all out!" (cue anybody!)
  3. Tempest! We're not bored at all! Nice trucks by the way. Khee! Hobbies....well, lessee this list could get odd but here we go...and apologies in advance if I bore y'all! ROFL. Dukes of Hazzard (duh. Why would I be here? ROFL). Collecting episodes, merchandise, writing stories, wasting my hours on this website. ROFL. Car restoration - 1986 Firebird. Next step is replacing the rest of the interior, hoping to do this next spring/summer. After that will be having the body refinished and re-painted....still debating on staying with black or doing a nice two-tone dark blue and silver. Khee! I too also collect anything Pontiac/Firebird/Trans Am. Also anything GM related or Dukes related Mopars. Hot Wheels, Matchbox or Johnny Lightning. DVD's.... I have an odd mix of favorite tv shows and movies. LOL. Dukes of course but also anything James Garner. I've started collecting Bob Hope films (okay I only have one right now but I'm gonna look for more. LOL). WWII movies. (Patton, Great Escape, ect...). I like old films of the 40's and 50's. Burt Reynolds movies. TV shows such as Starsky and Hutch. Waiting for Hogan's Heroes to come out on DVD. Wishing for the Rockford Files to come out on DVD. Also the Fall Guy. And Maverick. I still collect LP albums. And play 'em! =) Don't have any pets. Used to have gold fish but that was a hundred years ago. LOL. I have an acoustic guitar that I haven't had time to sit and play for about 6 years now. I did get it out once this past summer, busted a string on it, didn't have a replacement and decided I would take it to be restrung. Have yet to get around to doing that. LOL Truthfully I don't have a lot of hobbies because the bulk of my free time is spent either writing stories or tending to web page stuff between HNet and dukesofhazzardfanfic.com. If I got paid for the stories I write and the web work I do, I'd be rich. ROFL.
  4. Man I could yap about this movie for hours. My absolute favorite thing about the film is the Trans Am. However, I could especially recite dialouge...probably beginining to end. Scary. Khee! But for now, random samplings.... "Bandit, yer reckless and ya live much too hard.... I shoulda gone to Nashville!" =) "Daddy! My hat blew off!" "I hope your G--damn head was in it!" "A Texas gumball machine?" "Big town ain't it?" "Yeah. I wonder what they do for fun around here?" "Probably sit around and watch the cars rust." "Four miles. G'damn it....four miles." "Oh I love your suits! But it must be a bear, to get a 68 Extra Fat. And a 12 Dwarf." (That's the tv edited version. ROFL) Anybody ever notice that the version released on DVD has scenes missing that were added in to the television edited version?? Man that drives me nuts!! Lisa
  5. "Easy Chet! Take it easy, nobody's gonna shoot ya," MaryAnne said as she got to her feet and stood before Chet. She smiled at him and spoke gently. "You already gotta a nasty hole in ya I ain't lookin' to add anymore. Now sit back down there before you bleed all over my floor." (cue Chet or anyone)
  6. MaryAnne worked at cleaning and dressing Chet's renewed wound. Without looking up from her work, she answered Alex. "Why don't you try to bring Brian around? Get 'em some water and such." (cue Alex!)
  7. MaryAnne stepped over to the two forms and glanced at her cousin. "He'll keep for a second. Help me get Chet into the jail and we'll get some dressing for that wound." She paused a moment, looking towards the dark street of town. Where the hell's Rosco when I need 'em? (cue Brian, Alex or anybody!)
  8. Oh my god....I'll never look at a Sesame Street character the same way again. ROFLMAO! And that poor kitty! Yes, where do you find these?!?! ROFL
  9. As a certified dummy, I have to admit that I didn't realize Gator was the sequel to White Lightning. So, not knowing that Gator followed AFTER White Lightning I bought Gator. White Lightning wasn't on the shelf at the time and I still have yet to see that movie. So I can't comment on White Lightning, but I think Gator was pretty good and my favorite part is the speed boat chase that opens the film. And watching Jerry Reed play a really bad dude is worth the price of admission. And then the big fight scene at the end on the beach. Reed played Bama McCall so well, in my opinion, that he definetly made the character a bad guy you hated, and I found myself cheering for Gator when he slammed McCall in the concession booth on the beach. *WHAM!!!* ROFL But if White Lightning has car chases, I'm there! LOL. Gotta look for that one next.
  10. BAHAHAHAHAHAA!!! That cat carrier is too funny! And that boat.... I think I might get that for my dad for Christmas, seeing he wants a bass boat. There you go Dad!! ROFLMAO!!
  11. And MaryAnne indeed did come flying around the corner, having heard all the commotion going on and trying to figure out where it was. When she came around the front of the jail house, she had rifle in hand and she saw the two unconcious forms laying on the boardwalk with Alex standing near by. She approached, recognizing Brian as one and not recognizing the other. "What the *%(@! happened here??" (cue anybody!)
  12. Hi Tony! You make an excellent suggestion on a forum, although instead of it just being for the Return of General Lee game, I have it to cover all of the Dukes games for PC and gaming systems. So all you Dukes gammers out there, check it out! It's just below the "Community" section. MaryAnne
  13. Great photos of the jeep and Boss's caddy. (the gun door handles are a hoot. Ya reckon Burt mighta suggested that? ROFL). It's especially nice to finally see the front of the jeep. ROFL. Looks that Boars Nest sign might be a neon sign. Be cool to see it lit. =) Tgh_76 this is awesome that you're taking these pics and sharing them with us. We certainly appreciate and dig what you're doing!
  14. Hey dabones, welcome to HNet! Apparently CMT here in the States will be airing the Dukes come January. Tho', I hope they don't do like CMTCanada is doing and do a running order that's a real crap shoot. That would suck. However, it will be nice to have the Dukes back on TV again.
  15. General, If you go here... http://www.hazzardnet.com/gallery You'll find the member gallery. Khee! The sign in is the same as your sign in here at the forums. MaryAnne
  16. BAHAHAHAHHAHAA!!! Those pics are a riot, especially the AFTER training. That's a mean lookin' hamster. I'd hate to be on the wrong end of that one! LOL
  17. I dunno... Tom might look kinda funny wearing a cheese wedge on stage while performing in "Chicago." ROFL!
  18. The Mean Green Machine was first featured in the first Coy and Vance episode, "The New Dukes." If I recall correctly it made a return appearance in another C&V episode.
  19. After everyone shuffled into the jail house, MaryAnne looked at Chance when the gambler lady spoke. "That's a good idea," the deputy said. "I think we're gonna need all the help we can get." MaryAnne then turned and looked at Alex and Brian, who both stood awkwardly, their eyes avoiding both her and the jail cells off to their left. "And bein' that's such, I'm gonna offer you two a choice. You can either cool your heels here in jail....or you can partake in a little community service in exchange for the jail time I'd be giving ya. You can ride with me and help me find Chet and what's left of his crew and haul 'em back here. And you'll be expected to conduct yourselves accordingly.....or else... (Cue Alex and Brian)
  20. Actually July as a release date isn't that far off. Traditionally it's taken anywhere from six to nine months for movies to be filmed, edited, soundtracks recorded, promotions put together, copies made up and distributed, ect. ect. ect... LOL
  21. Hi Scott! Well, there's two ways you can post a picture. One is right in your message here on the forum, or you can upload your picture to our picture gallery. The difference being that if you post a picture within your message here, the picture has to be uploaded somewhere already. So your instructions would go like this.... 1. Compose a message as usual. At the top of the message box click on the Img box which will put an image tag placed at the end of your link. 4. Finish your post as you want it. Click submit. When you post shows in the listing the photo should show as well, assuming you put the correct link. The other way is to visit our Photo Gallery. http://www.hazzardnet.com/gallery/ The sign in is the same as it is here at the Forums. Sign in, click on upload photos, follow the easy instructions, click Upload/Submit, then wait for MaryAnne or somebody to get off their duff to approve your uploaded pic (actually it usually takes at most a day LOL). And there you have it! MaryAnne
  22. Ooooh!!! Kheeehaaaaaaaa!!!! I wondered if CMT here in the States would follow CMTCanada's lead. Great news!
  23. Remember the old KISS song? (Shout it, shout it, shout it out loud... ). A local radio station up nawth heah, uses it as part of an expression of thanks to various local businesses who do something great n' worthwhile or to listeners who do something great n' worthwhile. Well, I wanna give a great big shout out to all the folks down in Louisiana who have been providing us with spy-witness accounts and top secret photographs from the production locales of the Dukes of Hazzard movie! We probably have more news and information here than most of the Hollywood trade publications! Yeeehaww! Once again, a huge thank ya! MaryAnne
  24. MaryAnne listened thoughtfully to each person's story and found the pieces all fit together. Although she appreciated everyone's honesty it didn't completely eleveate the guilt. However, any sentencing MaryAnne had planned to issue would be significantly reduced. "He may be a drifter caught in a whirlwind but he had a choice about it. I can't ignore the fact that I caught him with three stolen horses. I'm taking you in too, but I can't let Alex go just yet. The law's the law. Let's get back to town and find out where Chet ended up and see how busy the undertaker is going to be this week..." MaryAnne nudged Phoenix's flanks and pulled the reins to turn the Appaloosa around. Quietly, the four riders headed back to town. (cue anybody!)
