We bought it at Ed Rogers in Sparta Tn. He KNEW the transmission was bad but we couldn't tell until we bought it and drove it for a long distance up a steep hill. No lemon laws in Tn., on used cars....so....The new one costs $2700. We called Nissan and told them ( Their headquarters is in my hometown...Franklin Tn. .....and they agreed to pay part of it.

Toyota's are the best! I've been a Toyota man since I had my first car ( a '79 Toyota Corolla!) Even now, I have a JapaNEESE MerceDEESE ( Corolla) in my drive way! ( Along with a Funakoshi Ferrari!.....My Nissan Sentra!)

Basically what I was thinking. These guys are very good! ( and here I had to go to college and take a course just to learn how to draw a straight line! )

I just HAD to mention this!! I don't hardly ever get to do it but I'm enjoying The 4 ( 5?) Best things In Life right now! 1. The Dukes of Hazzard ( Two Too Many Rosco's ) 2. It's Friday! 3. I don't have work tomorrow!! 4. I just ate ( while watching the Dukes) a Papa John's Peperoni and sausage pizza with garlic/butter sauce . 5. I'm now enjoying some Heineken Beer! ( Drink Heineken....you'll feel fine again! ) * * Like I said before, I only play the town drunk on TV but in real life I only have a couple 3 beers at a time on special occasions.....like NOW! ( No. 1-4!! ) I'm about to watch Lulu's gone away right now! YEE HAA!!!

James Best's birthday was Dec. 25th? Well...I guess that would be ok but I don't know how many people would be able to meet ( even virtually) for that, on that day.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the Sponsorship being restricted? ( no more Winston, Marlboro, etc.) I don't really see how that could do it.....but you never know!

Well guys, the reason I suggested May 9th, is because the show was about Southern people but it had Yankees in it too. May 9th was the day the War Between the States ended. ( May 9th 1865) . We ALL enjoy the show and we're all friends and even the people on the show were a mixture of Confederates and Yankees, both in characters and in real life . ......Just a suggestion though. I'm down for whatever you guys come up with! ( Hey, if you can't trust and depend on the citizens of Hazzard.....who can you depend and trust??? )

How about we celebrate it on May the 9th?

I have a suggestion. Why don't we have a Dukes Of Hazzard Holiday? We could decide what day it will be and what we will do to celebrate the greatest show ever to be on TV. We could celebrate it every year....same day, month etc.
