  1. If you watch Star Trek: The Original Series, you'll run across Paul Baxley in about 10 episodes. He's only credited in about half of them.
  2. I believe the manufacturer is Kissing Crane. They have a few Dukes themed knives. I know they're available on eBay. Here's a handy affiliate link for anyone who might want to buy, I get a teeny commission that goes towards keeping the lights on at HazzardNet.com at no extra cost to you (shameless plug ). #ad => https://ebay.us/tG4agG
  3. I hope that fixed it for you. Man, that was a tricky bug to track down!
  4. I think I may have figured out the solution to the login problem. It had to do with not updating instances of http to https. I think I've resolved the problem. Please let me know if you still encounter issues. -Mufn
  5. Well, this is a dilemma. The upgrade requires PHP 8.0, but I have another software install elsewhere on the site that is not compatible with PHP 8.0. Therefore, upgrade has been delayed until I figure this out.
  6. Time for another software update. I'll probably be doing it late tonight PST time or Sunday.
  7. I was born in Southern California (does that count? LOL), but my mom's from Arkansas and we visited a lot of relatives in the South growing up. Dad grew up in the country, just outside of San Diego. Both mom and dad's family often ate whatever they could shoot. To this day, my mom HATES rabbit because they ate it so much and she just never cared for it.
  8. I updated the forum software tonight. You know the drill. If you see any weirdness, let me know. I'm hoping this fixes some of the login issues some of you have been having.
  9. I was thinking of reducing the number of questions to 5 (a nice round number) and increasing the timer to 10 seconds. As for the music, I have to use non-copyrighted music or they might take the videos down. I used something from YouTube's library since it's safe to use.
  10. So, I decided to try my hand at making videos. I decided on a short format quiz to start. I'm sure any of you here can get 100% on this. Let me know what you think.
  11. Ok, I cleaned up some settings and am having the software save sessions in a different directory on the server now. If you have trouble logging in or accessing the forums, please clear your browser cache. If you continue to have problems, email me and I'll look into it.
  12. That might be a weird remnant of the forum upgrade and server transfer. If it happens again, email me here: https://www.hazzardnet.com/contact-us/. Be sure to include any error messages. I suspect there may be a weird disconnect with the php installation or some sort of file permissions issue. I'm working a similar issue on one of my other websites, so I'll fix it here once I figure out if it's the same issue.
  13. Sorry for the extended downtime. Due to price increases in some of the software I was using on the server, I had to migrate to a different server/software combo. Still working some kinks out, but I think the site should pretty much be up and running again. I took the opportunity to also update the forum software to the latest and greatest.
  14. I hope you all had a great Christmas. Ours was fantastic. Our pup really enjoyed it. So many toys, she didn't know what to do. And then it snowed. She'd never seen snow before and now she's obsessed with it. Tomorrow should be fun, since it's supposed to snow some more.
  15. I've heard of jo jo potatoes. We Californians just call them potato wedges. LOL.
  16. Merry Christmas, everyone! We're expecting snow this weekend. Might not arrive in time for a white Christmas, but it might get here Christmas night/Sunday morning! We have a new pup this year (Troy passed last November). We got her from a rescue in Texas last June and she just turned about 1 year old last month. We're really looking forward to her first Christmas and to see how she reacts to the snow. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and a prosperous and happy new year.
  17. Thanks. I miss you guys too. I've been super busy, but I'm currently on leave for the rest of the year due to work stress. I think you can count on two fingers how many years in the past decade or so I haven't had a surgery or a medical procedure of some type. Fortunately, aside from stress and fatigue, I'm doing pretty well right now and I'm looking forward to Christmas and my birthday. All the presents have been bought and wrapped. The house is decorated, the tree is up. The nog is chilling in the fridge (and we have a little rum in the pantry to mix in... ). I'm ready!
  18. Glad to hear you're recovering @HossC. Gallbladder issues run in my family. My paternal grandmother, dad, and sister have all had theirs out and doctors are monitoring my nephew's, which will probably have to be removed eventually. I've had my own scares and testing for the same, but so far no surgery. I've had five other surgeries in the last 13 years though, so I completely understand that soreness and problems with coughing. Take care of yourself.
  19. Thanks. I know I haven't been on HNet a lot lately, but I do check in from time to time and I'm happy to see folks still here sharing their love for the show here.
  20. I updated the main site today and spent some time optimizing so, hopefully, the site loads faster. As I have time, I'll likely be going through and updating, adding, and deleting old stuff. As with the forums, if you run across any issues, please let me know.
  21. Just upgraded the forum software. As usual, if you see any issues, let me know.
  22. Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona duit!
  23. It's crazy around here and where my sister's family is retiring in Idaho. They got in at the right time. The week after they bought their new home, prices went up $15,000 and a month later, they were $50,000 more!! We were going to move too, but that'll be too rich for our blood by the time we're ready. But the good news is that our house is worth almost 2x what we paid for it 17 years ago.
  24. Just me and hubby by ourselves this year. We can't go over to my sister's this year like we usually do. Our dog passed away last month, so it's been hard. We haven't been able to find another dog. Competition for rescue dogs is very fierce around here and every dog we've applied for is pretty much gone before they even get to our application. We're not really in the Christmas mood this year.
