  1. We always buy the biggest pack of toilet paper we can get, with mega rolls. We had just bought one a few weeks ago right before the insanity set in, so we're set for at least another week or two. Our freezer in the garage is full of mostly meat and a few tv dinners. We have some shelves with a lot of canned goods too out there. The inside fridge is starting to run a little low, but we have food for probably 3-4 weeks, longer if we ration a bit and get creative. And then, we have the "desperation time" freeze dried Mountain House rations for extreme emergencies. I come from a long line of country folk, so I'm properly trained on the intricate details of outhouse usage and have successfully avoided splinters and spiders multiple times. LOL. Our clan tends to prefer Sears catalog over corn cobs. When the tp runs out, we'll be ready.
  2. Since I've been sick for so long, mine and hubby's lives haven't changed a whole lot with self-isolation. LOL. Now everybody else gets to experience how I've been living. Hubby and I are both being careful because we're both immunocompromised. We're going to be home for a very long haul. Fortunately, I'm an introvert and ever since I was a kid I had no problems finding ways to entertain myself. I hope y'all are doing well. If you happen to read this, please check in on this thread so we know you're doing ok. The West coast seemed to shut down pretty quickly and it appears to have slowed the spread a bit. I see the East coast has exploded though. Stay safe over there, Easties. And if you're one of the ones who happened to hoard toilet paper, I've heard you can make moonshine from it...
  3. I just read about that this morning! Very cool. I wish a station in the US would carry it again.
  4. Sorry guys. I've been very sick. My Hashimoto's has been flaring (mostly due to job stress) and I've been sleeping about 16 hours a day. Very little energy for anything other than working. I appreciate all of you keeping this place going. I'm in the process of looking for another job because I can't keep going on like this.
  5. Doh! I've had the weird feeling all day that I was missing something. Sorry to have missed this. Hope you all had a good time! Merry Christmas!
  6. I saw a commercial tonight for The Walking Dead. It was about fans coming together and becoming friends over the show. One of the fans said something along the lines of "I've created a family out of a tv show." Well, Dukes fans have been doing that for FORTY years! I know I'm not around here as often, but you all have helped me through some tough times. You're my Dukes family.
  7. Are you guys talking about having a watch party? Would a chat room help facilitate that better than the forums? If so, let me know and I'll see if I can put something together.
  8. The voice was done by June Foray. It's quite possible that Danny's voice wasn't picked up very well by the mics and he wasn't available for looping on the production's schedule, so they had to bring in June.
  9. Seems a lot of Hazzardites have been hit with health problems this year. Here's hoping everyone has a happy, healthy holiday season and much healthier 2020.
  10. I never said I had a list. I think you're thinking about Roger. Please be patient because not everyone is on at the same time you are.
  11. Unless you're using a public computer, like in a library, there's no reason to logout after every session. If the problem is with the forum software, I can only open a bug report with the creator. It's not something I can fix myself.
  12. You've sent an additional angry email since I posted my message here. I've reset your password. Post your apology here and I'll email it to you. Whatever is going on is technical in nature and not something I'm personally doing to you, so simmer down and I'll help you get it sorted out.
  13. If you had sent me a nice email requesting help instead of multiple emails laced with profanity and anger, I would have helped you recover your password for your other account. It's quite possible that your password wasn't strong enough and it may have been reset during an upgrade of our forum software. That is automatic and nothing I have done. Now, you can apologize and get your other account back or you can continue to use this account and be happy I just didn't ban you outright.
  14. Thanks. In other news, it was his 7th Gotcha Day yesterday and he got special puppy cake (I ordered cake mix on Amazon, made specifically for dogs). It was a good day.
  15. Well, it's liver cancer. Normally, surgery could give him a few more years, but that's for one tumor. He has two, on two different lobes, and the rest of the liver is abnormal so the cancer may be diffuse. That means he's not a good candidate for surgery. At the recommendation of both the oncologist and our vet, we're going to start him on a liver supplement and make however long he has as happy and comfortable as possible. Fortunately, he's relatively healthy and isn't having symptoms yet. This was caught during routine annual exam blood work which led to the ultrasound and cytology that diagnosed the cancer. The cancer he has is a slow growing cancer, so I'm hoping he has at least one more good year left.
  16. *sigh* It's been a rough year. First, we had my cancer to deal with. I'm back at work and stress at work is not helping with my recovery. Now, our dog's liver isn't working right and we have to schedule a liver biopsy and possibly an ultrasound. He's anywhere from 9 to 12 years old, our vet guesses closer to 12. We can't have kids, so our dog is our baby. I'm super stressed out. I would like a long stretch of good news for a change.
  17. I think she did a nude scene in a movie, but I can't recall the title of the movie.
  18. Can Cooter come by and fix up my old Trans Am? LOL.
  19. As Jimmie once said (regarding his dressing trailer on the show), "This place would fall apart if the termites stopped holding hands." LOL. Nah, I think HazzardNet is a little more solid than that.... I hope.
  20. Well, I took advantage of the server downtime to update the forum software again. If you find any issues, please let me know about them.
  21. That's weird, Rog. What browser are you using?
  22. I swear, the company that makes the software that runs the forums must watch to see when I update, because a day or two after, they release ANOTHER update. LOL. Maybe I'll get to it this weekend....
  23. Felix Silla played the Visitor. He also wore the costume for Twiki in Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, he was an Ewok in Return of the Jedi, he wore the Lucifer costume in Battlestar Galactica, and was Cousin Itt on The Addams Family. And that's all the good stuff I have to say about "Strange Visitor to Hazzard". LOL!
