Hey Uncle Jesse! Okay, I think that I figured everything out that I needed to know. Thanks for explaining. Like I said, I'll try to watch the show sometime this week. I'm looking forward to this project, it sounds kind of fun! As for me making a map. It sounds fun, but I wouldn't know where to start! And I didn't know that you knew where Cooter lived! Very cool! You have got to show us this map when you get done with it! Okay, I'll get this done for you as soon as possible! Laura Duke

Hello plymouth 7! So glad that you could join all of us Hazzardites! Sit, back, relax, and enjoy all of the great people on here! It's amazing how many great people that join on HazzardNet everyday! I hope that you can stick around for a long time! Again, Welcome! Laura Duke

Thank you! I'm not crazy (well, not as crazy as I thought I was! ) After arguing for 1 year, that it was not Waylon Jennings voice, I finally have someone to back me up on this. Thank you! Now, you confused me Uncle Jesse, I thought that they stopped the teaser talks after the first couple of seasons, and just showed clips and then went to the song right away? Well, this just gives us an excuse to watch more Dukes of Hazzard! Okay, hopefully TimDuke will see that we need help! Was that BrianColtrane or TimDuke that had the Big Bird Turkey for Thanksgiving? Well, whichever one it was, we'll have to restrain whoever it was from RogerDuke, otherwise we'll be talking about Ruldolph on the table for Christmas Dinner! Laura Duke

Daisy Duke Wardrobe Malfunction in Season 6
Laura Duke replied to TXZ045's topic in Cathy Bach / Daisy Duke
Oh, sorry Uncle Jesse! I'm sure that the Uncle Jesse from the Dukes of Hazzard would have said, "Now, young lady, if you don't know what the conversation is about, then you go and high-tail it and go and do your chores! Now, get!" I guess that question wasn't directed to me anyways. So, sorry about that. But, that is a neat jump! Laura Duke -
Hey Uncle Jesse! I would be honored to check out the show. Besides, I've been watching the second season anyways, so I don't mind watching "R.I.P. Henry Flatt" Okay, looking back on your previous posts, and seeing what you want and don't want, correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what you would like me to find: Residents (Homes, not individuals) Roads (in Hazzard? or also other counties? And do I need to tell what county/town it's in?) Water (creeks, lakes, swamps, ponds, etc.) Landmarks (canyons, hollows, caves, mountains, bridges, etc.) Neigboring counties (including bosses, towns, and sheriffs) Do I need to try and telll you what direction (north, south, east, west) the town is from Hazzard? You know, I feel bad that you can't watch this D.V.D. Just an idea, but sometimes when I have a D.V.D. that doesn't work, you can take a soft cloth and wipe the D.V.D. and sometimes that helps. Okay, well, I'll try to watch "R.I.P. Henry Flatt" sometime this week! Anymore exciting progress on your map. It just sounds SO cool! Laura Duke

Hi MiniHogg! I don't know if you remember, but I chatted with you once, I believe. And I remeber I had a great time getting to chat a little. So, I'm really happy that you finally introduced yourself! Good for you. Since you already have been here, you probably have already met a number of great Hazzard fans on this website. Hope that you keep on posting, it wouldn't be the same without you. And welcome just the same! Khee! Khee! I'm gone! Laura Duke

Hows About a nice old Hazzard get together?
Laura Duke replied to LoriDavenport's topic in Chat Times
I think that is a super idea! Do you have a time and day picked out? I'm sure if you set one up, people will be glad to try to be there! I know I would try to chat for a while. But, make sure that when you pick a time that you tell what time zone so that others can change it for their zone. Can't wait to hear when it is! Laura Duke -
Hello Everyone! I've been re-watching the first and second season of The Dukes of Hazzard. And, I've been noticing something-the opening teasers that start the show (you know, when they say, "Tonight on the Dukes...........) and then they play the "Good ol' Boy" song. Well, on that teaser, I don't think that is Waylon Jenning's voice. But, other Hazzard people tell me it is. What do all of you think? Thanks! Laura Duke

Daisy Duke Wardrobe Malfunction in Season 6

Hey Uncle Jesse (that's my nickname for RogerDuke, in case no one knows), I think that jump that bwgath had, wasn't the world record jump. If you look in the background, you'll see the ground and a cop car. Didn't the world-record jump happen over a lake or something. But, then again, it had to land on the ground, sometime. So, I could be wrong. Let me know if I am wrong. Laura Duke -
Hi jimmyc877! I'm so happy that you found HazzardNet! There's tons of great people on this place. So, stick around, grab a drink, some snacks, and enjoy! As for what type of music I like, I listen to country and the old rock-n-roll-I just like the rock-n-roll beat. As for country, I listen to: Glenn Campbell, Johnny Cash, the newer country singers, and John and Tom (of course!) How about you, who are your favorite country artist? Again, welcome! Laura Duke

Hey, Uncle Jesse! I just was reading this thread, and how impressive! I think that it's SO cool to make a map of Hazzard, and surrounding areas. I give you lots of credit, you put in tons of work on this, I hope to see it when it's done. I wish I could get a map of Hazzard. I see that in October you asked someone to watch "R.I.P. Henry Flatt" Do you still need someone to watch it for you? If you do, I would be happy to do that for you. Great job, again Uncle Jesse! Keep telling us how the map is coming along, I'm really excited about this! If there's anything else I can do, let me know! I sure would be happy to try to help you with this. Laura Duke

Daisy Duke Wardrobe Malfunction in Season 6

There's my Uncle Jesse! Thanks. Now, TXZ045, please don't take offense to what I was saying. But, please realize that what you type gets read by millions of people. It's a good lesson for all of us to watch what we say and type. And I agree with Uncle Jesse, or RogerDuke-your can decide which one you prefer. You're hat is awesome. Keep it 'tween the ditch, ya'll -
Welcome hazzard1! It's great that you found this place! There are TONS of great Hazzard fans here. I know that you'll have a great time! Laura Duke

Daisy Duke Wardrobe Malfunction in Season 6
Laura Duke replied to TXZ045's topic in Cathy Bach / Daisy Duke
Guys, Come on! I know that it's fun to discuss malfunctions, but this IS a family site! Being a girl, I'm a little upset that we are talking about those types of "malfunctions" in Daisy Duke's wardrobe. Could we please keep these types of clothes disasters to ourselves, or post it in the Hazzard Swamp? I, for one am SO proud of this site for being a fun, family oriented site. Okay, enough said. I don't want anyone to get upset, but like I said, could you please talk about it in the Hazzard Swamp if you HAVE to say it. Thanks for being considerate about it. Laura Duke -
Hi Everyone! Let's all chat on Thursday at 7 PM EST. Does that work with everyone? Thanks, Laura Duke

Thanks, it was a great birthday!
-
Brian Coltrane and Roger-a deadly combination when they start talking together! MaryAnne, I hope that you enjoyed your turkey! Sounds great! My Birthday was on Friday, and I got two Dukes of Hazzard pictures and a horn, with one of the songs it plays as Dixie! I cried! I admit it!

You guys are awful! Suppose a little kid saw a picture of their best friend, Big Bird, on the Thanksgiving table ready to get carved for the meal! That kid would be upset for life and never eat a Thanksgiving meal again! But, I have to say, I got a big laugh out of that one! But still, you guys.... BigBirdFans.com-Funny! And the picture sent by Brian Coltrane-hilarious! You guys just crack me up.

Wow! I kind of think differently. I always thought that Bo was such a cool fighter. I just thought he had this extra flair, and was punching as hard as he could. I always thought he looked so tough and cool. I know what all of you are thinking, you can tell that I've never seen a real fight! You'd be right on that. But, I just think Bo looks cool when he fights. I still can't decide on who is the better one, Bo or Luke. There's certain great characteristics about both of them, but it would be the same without them, so I definately can't choose between them. Denver Pyle is great! He's the anchoring force for the Dukes (and in real life). It just wouldn't be as great of a show without him (or any of them for that matter)! I hope that all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Laura Duke:-P

Sorry, Roger, but I just wanted to make this easier yet! If you scroll to the top of this screen, right below the HazzardNet picture. Under the "Reply to Thread" There's a bunch of commands, look for the "Chat". It's the 5th command, with the small little upside down triangle. Then just follow the rest of our previous messages. Hopefully that makes sense. But, please don't do that until we set up a time to do this, otherwise you'll be talking to yourself! If you have a day and time that you would like to do this, let me know! Thanks, and I hope that it helped. I still know that you can figure this out! Laura Duke

Hi Everyone! First of all General Grant, I would love to set up a chat time! When did you have it in mind? Roger, I don't blame you for not knowing how to get in a chat room, this is the first time I've done this, too! Even though General Grant did a great job explaining it, sometimes it's a little easier to understand if two people explain it, that way one person can explain what another person missed! If you are on the main forum page, you will see a list of things. One of them says "Chat". Click on that. Once you click on it, that's pretty much it. You then just have to click on "Chat in forum web page" Then it brings you right to the chat room. Don't worry, I know that you can do it! Thanks Brian Coltrane, but you are really the ones that put a LOT more work into it than I realize. It's great to have such caring people that go to a lot of time and trouble to do this for the rest of us! Thanks a million! Boy, I always love reading these posts, they are just so funny! Well, I hope that ALL of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Laura Duke:lol:

Oh, this looks like fun! I'd like to make a guess, too: On the Road Again (I'm thinking "Mama's Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys" was sung on "Christmas Comes to Willow Creek" starring John Schneider and Tom Wopat) I'm thinking Tyler. Then, Crystal Lake (Wasn't that the one were the guys were going to go skinny-dipping with some girls, and then the girls ran off with their clothes?) Congrats on getting 30 right, DaisyMaeDuke! If we had teams, I'd pick you as part of my team!

I can tell Uncle Jesse is your hero, and you can't find a better person to be your hero!
-
Well, thank you very much Roger! I must admit, I always love reading your posts, they are always so great! You are definately like the Uncle Jesse of the group, you keep everyone in line, but you always do it with class! I plan on sticking around until everyone gets sick of me! Hopefully that will be a while. Maybe we'll bump into each other at the Boar's Nest sometime! Until then, keep it 'tween the ditches, ya'll! Laura Duke

David Hasselhoff and John Schneider? That would be a very interesting movie? What would you want the story line to be? I might watch that one, it could be kind of funny! Laura Duke
